Warren Publishing: They CREATED Vampirella!

More than a decade before Heavy Metal Magazine, Warren published adult comic magazines. Classics like Vampirella, Creepy and Eerie influenced a generation of fans and are still admired today. Warren reached their zenith in the 1970's - the coolest decade of all for a nerds!

Although it started in the 60s, would like to see a video on Castle of Frankenstein -- and the 70s revival of The Spirit.

The only problem for Warren was that the magazine format was expensive. As a kid I was only able to afford them in used bookstores.
