To be honest, I had very high expectations from "queen of tears". But I didn't find anything interesting like that in the drama. As much as I thought it would be good, it was not as good as I thought it would be. The chemistry between the two was great, but I didn't see that kind of romantic scene.... I am kind of disappointed😢
Right. Everyone hyping it up and i got bored after the first episode because it was just too draggy and predictable. Nothing about it matches the energy of all hype it got.
Same here.. I tried to stick it out but couldn't get past episode 4. At that point, I didn't want to waste anymore time watching a show I consider sub par. I really don't understand the hype. It's so overrated.
I really disliked Queen of Tears. Ridiculous plot and became predictable. Even the antagonists were a little too evil. 😈 I know I’m definitely in the minority. I really did enjoy Lovely Runner. Wedding Impossible was horrible, I made it through the second episode.
Loe next door was boring.. they had a talented, underutilized lead, but it was dull execution. An actor like Jung Hae-in was totally wasted in this show.
Queen of tears was too overhyped for me. I got bored within the first episode. It was too draggy and predictable. Nothing about it stood out to me. So pretty much, to me the show was boring.
Tell me if this is r4cist, but I believe K-dramas should stick to single seasons. The original format of 16, hour-long episodes is SO good because you watch and move on. The plot has enough time to unfold and climaxes are easy to position. Second seasons don't make sense most times and lose the spark cause the authenticity of the story gets lost in a cash grab. We don't need to do everything like Hollywood, there's a reason having alternatives is important
I have to agree that most of the dramas being the worst was accurate! I only made it to a couple of episodes with most of them!! I’ve got to say that Queen of tears disappointed me!! The hype was ridiculous!!
I'm finding a lot of the newer dramas are lacking. Believability, bad plots, unlikable characters and ridiculous choices they make have been turning me away from more dramas than I'm liking lately. We've been looking more at older dramas to find the quality we expect.
Sorry but not all listed here are as bad as "critics" say. Missing Crown Prince, Serendipity's Embrace & Wedding Impossible were not the best but they were MUCH BETTER than Love Next Door, DNA Lover and Bad Memory Eraser.
@elizabethogilvie650 I agree with you. I enjoyed "Missing Crown Prince" It wasn't the greatest but it was good and satisfying. I haven't seen SE or WI. but I will with your recommendation. Love Next Door was a disappointment. Having 2 of my fave ML/FL actors behaving like 20-somethings in a plot so contrived and thin that it was painful to watch. DNA Lover and BME aren't on my "watch soon list". Thank you! Peace.
Yeah. I think it’s mainly the storylines and how it’s edited together. Like for example: I don’t like how some of the editing made the storyline inconsistent, leaving plot holes, causing more confusion or just filling gaps with filler moments that unnecessarily added to the scenes/storyline.
Did not liked : "queen of tears" ( terminal disease was too much. It would have been enough the divorce history), "love next door "was all over the place including again terminal disease ; except a love history. "Dear Hyeri" started great but the ending was awful with the FL choosing narcissistic toxic ML.I liked "Serendipity embrace", "Cinderella 2Am"(If you do not take it too seriously works like a new fairy tale version).Queen Woo liked a lot actually i would like to know how was her history as " the facto" Queen government.( season 2?)
Yes it was great some of these dramas are wrongly lumped in this bad drama group because of this ... shortening of the episodes. So much is lost on the cutting floor .😢
I disagree with wedding impossible and serendipity's embrace I watched that 2 dramas out of rest in your videos I loved them. It was fun and good watching it
I liked the Impossible Heir (except for the acting of the fl) , also liked Serendipity’s Embrace ang Geongsong Creature . The Lovely Runner was overhyped and did not really like it, it just became popular due to the ml.
Only watched Serendipity embrace from this collection, well say watched, started really well, but it just went down hill after the first couple of episodes, storylines that went no where, the return of the old boyfriend, the mother!? The uncle who is the best friend of the girl, the bloke who owned the bar? Also the male lead who was a big shot, but didnt seem to do any work. All just seemed pointless, I started to f/ f then dont even think I watched the last episode!!
I felt the same way. I really was looking forward to it and enjoyed the first few episodes but after a while it just lost it , I found myself fast forwarding
F/f is a god send in these situations!!? Watching” love your enemy “at the moment seems good so far, although truth be told I watch mostly CDramas now, I know how bad am I!!
I actually loved Queen woo. I thought it was riveting. I also enjoyed Red Swan although it felt like a subpar version of blood free which I loved. I'ma an EXOL so ofc I watched missing crown prince and thought it was a decent watch. Admittedly most of the others one listed I didn't watch because I had heard they were flops or had horrible stories etc. I guess I should give some of them a shot considering that I liked three of the ones on this list that apparently were liked by the masses. Contrarily, I didn't enjoy Queen of Tears, my sweet mobster and love next door in spite of the hype. In fact each of those are on my 2024 DNF list, which is sadly quite long this year.
I agree with Wedding Impossible. The writers had a chance to really lean into some comedic elements of the situation that befell the three leads, but insteed, it took a very dark and judgmental turn with the typical chaebol Chairman/grandfather interference trope. And Jeon Jung-So was just not good in the role. I didn't feel much attraction at all between her and the ML, and her character wasn't redeemable, nor someone I could believe the ML would ever really fall in love with. I stuck with it, but one of the only KDramas I've ever watched that I've given a negative rating to. The writers could have done so much more with this had they kept it light and humerous.
Have to agree with everything said in the video. I particularly do not like Actress Jeon Jong Seo, I don't like her acting and in Impossible Wedding she was not the right fit for the role, her acting is flat, dead flat. Didn't like her in this role and refused then to watch Queen Woo because of her bad acting in Impossible Wedding.
impossible heir and Home alone 3 is the worst kdrama of this year 🤦 saw comments r talking about qot and lnd they r just okish but not bad people r criticizing bcoz both shows cast r famous, so fan put so much expectations rather then seeing it as just normal romcom i think both shows r good both cast did their job well it was more of director and writers part they didn't use these actors well 🤷
I really liked beauty and mr romantic at first, it was fun, emotional but it wend downward with too much of tragedy storyline with way too many episodes 40 episodes. It could have been finished with 20 episode
@memehmeme3315 it's not that big of an issue, but making the story purposefully too long is what irked me. I mean the chemistry of the leads was good but the tragedy part was bit too much streched.
i don't like beauty and mr. romantic because of the female lead. but for sure both the male and female leads will win an acting award this coming 2024 KBS drama awards.
I didn’t hate Impossible Heir that much. It wasn’t amazing but I’ve seen worse. I did finish it though so that’s a plus I guess. I couldn’t finish Queen Wu. It was kinda boring. Red Swan was not that good. I don’t think I finished it or if I did I don’t remember how it ended which isn’t a good thing. Missing Crown Prince I couldn’t finish. The writing was not that good. I think I watched half of Hierarchy but couldn’t make myself finish it. The rest I didn’t watch. I feel like 2024 failed to deliver in general. There were some gems but there were a lot that were mostly just not that memorable.
0:32 I will never forgive the disappointment of the impossible heir. The story got so convoluted and the love triangle was so unbelievable.
So true. Totally wasted time on it.
Missing Crown Prince is actually decent historical drama, it was just sandwiched between Lovely Runner and Queen of Tears's hype.
I didn’t like it much either!!
Right. Everyone hyping it up and i got bored after the first episode because it was just too draggy and predictable. Nothing about it matches the energy of all hype it got.
I lasted through half of the third episode and the I was no longer interested. Couldn’t agree with you more.
Couldn’t get past the 1st episode either…I dropped it so fast!
I didn’t like love next door but I liked my sweet mobster and the trunk
Loe next door was boring.. they had a talented, underutilized lead, but it was dull execution. An actor like Jung Hae-in was totally wasted in this show.
I liked Love Next Door. But I don't require loads of tension and angst, just hood characters.
The most disappointing show for me!!! Gosh I love my Jung Hae In but love next door was sooooo boring. I was shocked!
Queen of tears was too overhyped for me. I got bored within the first episode. It was too draggy and predictable. Nothing about it stood out to me. So pretty much, to me the show was boring.
Same here!
Mr Plankton was very good drama!
Tell me if this is r4cist, but I believe K-dramas should stick to single seasons. The original format of 16, hour-long episodes is SO good because you watch and move on. Agree!
I have to agree that most of the dramas being the worst was accurate! I only made it to a couple of episodes with most of them!! I’ve got to say that Queen of tears disappointed me!! The hype was ridiculous!!
Serendipity’s embrace wasn’t that bad… but tbh I’m biased cause I loved Kim So-hyun ever since I first saw her in bring it on ghost 🥰
I agree...I don't like wedding impossible...at first it was interesting but day by day it's getting boring to me 😢
I'm finding a lot of the newer dramas are lacking. Believability, bad plots, unlikable characters and ridiculous choices they make have been turning me away from more dramas than I'm liking lately. We've been looking more at older dramas to find the quality we expect.

Poor Missing Crown Prince just caught up between Lovely Runner and QOT , If it released a bit later or earlier, it would get more love
Yeah. I think it’s mainly the storylines and how it’s edited together. Like for example:
I don’t like how some of the editing made the storyline inconsistent, leaving plot holes, causing more confusion or just filling gaps with filler moments that unnecessarily added to the scenes/storyline.
I desagree, I really liked Serendipity Embrace
Same, I love that show
Poor casting, weak script or rushed endings really hurt most of these stories.
Did not liked : "queen of tears" ( terminal disease was too much. I really enjoyed missing crown prince though
Serendipity embrace is good but short
Yes it was great some of these dramas are wrongly lumped in this bad drama group because of this ... shortening of the episodes. So much is lost on the cutting floor .😢
Huh? I enjoyed SE a lot.
I liked Queen Woo, Missing Crown Prince Loved both Gyeongseong Creature features, especially the leads.
I actually liked serendipity embrace. The beginning was much better and it was a bit empty. But it was only 8 episodes and it was enjoyable
I disagree with wedding impossible and serendipity's embrace I watched that 2 dramas out of rest in your videos I loved them. It was fun and good watching it
I enjoyed Queen Woo. I guess it oroves tastes are personal. I liked the stoic Queen and liked the actress.
Serendipity embrace was good .....
Didn’t liked Hierarchy but I did like Wedding Impossible.
I really liked serendipity's embrace. I am surprised it came on this list.
I binge watched Queen Woo & I can't wait for season 2 if there is any
Writers of 'Beauty & Mr. Romantic' are notoriously HORRIBLE.
I actually watched it because it was sooooo bad. I wanted to see just how low they could go. They exceeded my expectations.
I liked the Impossible Heir (except for the acting of the fl) , also liked Serendipity’s Embrace ang Geongsong Creature . The Lovely Runner was overhyped and did not really like it, it just became popular due to the ml.
Don't agree with you on the Missing Crown Prince. It is good. Go watch.

@@Karen-b1z7l 😊I’m finding myself doing the same thing.
Queen woo was excellent though it should be longer
I actually loved Queen woo. I thought it was riveting. I also enjoyed Red Swan although it felt like a subpar version of blood free which I loved. I'ma an EXOL so ofc I watched missing crown prince and thought it was a decent watch. I generally love things everyone hates. So I still want to watch Impossible Heir at some point
Jeon Jong-seo had a pretty disappointing 2024.
Hierarcky AND Mr Planton boring .
IDK Why but we have similar choice
I agree with Wedding Impossible. The writers had a chance to really lean into some comedic elements of the situation that befell the three leads, but insteed, it took a very dark and judgmental turn with the typical chaebol Chairman/grandfather interference trope. And Jeon Jung-So was just not good in the role. Dear hyeri should be included in the list
Escape of the Seven was too ridiculous - just ABSURD!
Have to agree with everything said in the video. Didn't like her in this role and refused then to watch Queen Woo because of her bad acting in Impossible Wedding.
Serendipitys embrace was good, but the edits were poor and it needed a bit more.
Cinderella at 2am also worst drama but ml is handsome 😁
Best kdrama for me is Hometown cha cha cha ❤
My sister used to watch Kdrama...but right now she is into a C drama.
impossible heir and Home alone 3 is the worst kdrama of this year 🤦

I really liked beauty and mr romantic at first, it was fun, emotional but it wend downward with too much of tragedy storyline with way too many episodes 40 episodes. It could have been finished with 20 episode
Yeah most korean dramas have dementia or loss of memory as the main story line. So ridiculous and boring.
@memehmeme3315 it's not that big of an issue, but making the story purposefully too long is what irked me. I mean the chemistry of the leads was good but the tragedy part was bit too much streched.
Queen woo was good waiting for next part
Red swan was very good drama!!!
For me Queen Woo is good
You need Chapters
i don't like beauty and mr. romantic because of the female lead. but for sure both the male and female leads will win an acting award this coming 2024 KBS drama awards.
Hierchy was so boring and bland.
Red swan is great..
I actually liked some of these dramas.
Queen of tears was boring, i didn't like the male lead, he is boring and overrated actor and not that attractive at all.
Girl u shouldn't be talking
I liked all of them
I liked Red Swan
Wedding impossible was amazing.
Queen woo and red swan are good
I liked Wedding Impossible.
agree with you but i watched queen woo and wedding imposible because of female lead
Chocolate musgbd one of the worst: stoic lead actor, slow development, lots of absurd twists and turns, overall not credible and dead boring !
Oh there was a k drama in that name?? Girl i think your rally watch many k dramas, so far what are your favourites of this year?
