    I always wanted to make these cause it’s so expensive buying them 😭 Can’t believe you don’t need to use so much ingredients for the puffs, I’ll try to make some of these! Thank you!!!

      They can be very expensive to buy. Homemade will always taste better as well. It’s literally 4 ingredients to make the pastry. Please enjoy! 😊

    One of my very Favorite Desserts. Simply Delicious. Mom made these without the Chocolate ganache sauce for years. It wasn’t until cooking School I was introduced to the Sauce and to this day I love the simplicity without the sauce. YUM

    Excellent video with simple clear instructions. Maybe when doing a recipe like this, you can provide different filling options. I've always eaten them filled with egg custard. That would be a way to use the pods after extracting the seeds. Alternatively this pastry is also used to make eclairs, you could show both options and fillings to extend your video over that magic 10 min. mark. Keep up the good work.

    Aww, cuuute, you pronounced "Chantilly" as "chanti-lee" 😆
    It's actually "chanti-yee" 😉
    And profiteroles are really good. Even here, we don't eat these very often, so when they actually show up for dessert, no matter how full you are, YOU STILL GOTTA EAT THEM 😂

    • @ChefJackOvens
      @ChefJackOvens  4 года назад +4

      That’s how I pronounce it in English 😉 profiteroles are so good, you can’t turn them down haha! 😊🙏

      i have similar memories back in New Zealand in regards to chocolate eclairs

    • @filmnet
      @filmnet 10 месяцев назад

      It's pronounced "Chantilly" in English (with L sound), just as it used to be in French. "ll" pronounced as "y" is a modern French affectation.

    In this recipe you say when making the pastry, “Add 1 cup of flour or 150gs.” Don’t you mean 250gs?

    • @ChefJackOvens
      @ChefJackOvens  4 года назад +1

      250ml is 1 cup. Each ingredient has a different weight. 150g of flour equals 1 cup as it doesn’t weigh much. 😊

    Disgusting but probably to be expected from an Australian. Profiteroles require vanilla ice cream, not disgusting cream.
