Would a stainless steel tank work better in the long run than a polyethylene water tank like they sell at boating stores? I used to have one of those on my boat after I got rid of the previous owner's water bladder Frankenstein build.

I have been sewing for 46 years and you have done yourself proud. There is not much in live that is perfect, and you even taught me something new. I like the idea of the black quilted backing, that is an awesome idea and I will use it for my windows in my suv. I am into night photography so I sleep by day. I am excited to see your building when it is done

@@enzoh7763 #1 thing to learn about vintage sewing machines. OIL. they need to be oiled frequently. Any part that is metal on metal needs oil, all the time. A good quality sewing machine oil.

I learned, as a kid, using my grandmother's treadle sewing machine. It's a skill that has often come in handy over the years. Including making curtains and covering seat cushions for our camper, too. From hemming pants to making repairs, it's a skill worth learning. Thanks for sharing yours with us.

I was in the Navy for 6 years. Grey is not my favorite thing. Everything was grey, inside and out. the saying was if it isn't moving, paint it.

Lock that with a roof bar rack and a ladder. That would camouflage the roof vent and the van. And a ladder is handy once in a while.
