Watched twice, ordered at once and for the last two weeks I am in guitar heaven. This is such a wonderful device! The stereo loop brings my pedalboard up to it's full potential, the cab sim is just right for me and the rvb is the best I ever had in any amp. I also appreciate the no nonsense design. And they are nice and friendly folks at Thermion with competent customer support. What's not to like?
And another wonderful P.T. tune which will be dissected and digested asap.

Ok, so I'm sitting in front of my TV after a hard day scrolling YT vids and come across this, I had to run to my computer to leave a comment! Dammit Pete, just when I thought I had everything I need for guitar tones for my world it's been FAS stuff and you break out this unit. The Ice salesman is in town and the eskmoes are broke damn this thing is really cool sounding! There went my stimulus check.

The opening clean sounds are just magical.

This is definitely the one im getting. Ive been looking at pedal sized amps for a while now, and been considering trying out a Victory Dutchess V4 or the Milkman Amp 50, but the Zero is the winner for me. That clean tone is my dream tone that ive been chasing for years but havent quite gotten there yet. Sounds absolutely perfect for what im looking for and it being stereo is another reason for its personal perfection. Still might consider buying a milkman amp 50 or the Dutchess V4 in the future afterwards for a Wet, Dry, Wet rig, but for now im starting with the Zero. It would be cool to add a Victory Copper V4 into the preamp loop to expand on its tonal possibilities

It was a coin toss between this and the Milkman 50 version of the Zero. I might still get this one because I like having options, and also, would be really cool having a wet/dry/wet amp setup on the floor =P

A bit pricey vs. other options such as the Victory V4 series, the Humbolt Simplifier Deluxe or the Iridium, but still a very nice unit.
When I heard those parts with the Freq Out and Mobius, then saw the name of the company, I thought someone had made a dynamic Theremin pedal. That was tight!

That built in pre-delay on the zero reverb is handy. Runs pretty wet but not to where it sounds zippery.

Have you tried the Benson Preamp pedal or the Castledine Magical Mystery Box? The MMB is a pedal version of the solid state pre in a vox amp the the Beatles used. Jimmy Page also used one of those Voxes late Yardbirds/early Zeppelin. The amp is in his New book. Pretty sure a lot of Zep II was recorded with it. Anyway a comparison of solid state pres into a tube power amp might be a fun video

Can it do DI-out without cab sim? So I could follow up with HX stomp and my own collection of IR:s for example. If this can't be done, then they did the same mistake as Bluguitar Amp 1... Otherwise sounds freaking fantastic
I Think that you would be able to take the effect send and get basically the same sound as the DI out if it didn’t have cab sim on. If you wanted to use effects you could simply patch the output of your effect To a DI or to your interface etc.

Well it’s 40 W, The distortion happens at the upper end of the volume range, so depending on your guitar, pick ups, and your volume needs… Hard to say for your individual situation without trying
Im a bass player.. I like your bass tone on this.. What was your signal chain?
The most important part is the bass, it’s a Warwick streamer, that sounds exceptional. Running into my UA interface and using the b15 plugin, And I think I used the distressor plugin for a compressor

Dirt pedals sound crappy with solid state. With a small tube and suhr you can quietly get real grit. With this you only get decent cleans. Not truly a pedal platform
