I have mad respect for those guys. The training is just insane, mentally and physically.
Know 1 Dude ready the book “the operator” by Robert O’Neill. After reading that book, you’ll understand that the BUD/S training does not get any easier 😂it literally only gets harder
Know 1 this is a mere tiny glimpse of what they go through, and it’s random, you don’t know how long the evolution will last and you don’t know what the next one is, and this isn’t all that they do, it’s barely nothing, you’re delusional if you think you can learn more on your own than what they do
@Know 1 why are you arguing with people on the internet? You realize that makes you the automatic loser?
Know 1 no you can’t, you can workout and be as fit as you want, but it’s not about being physically fit, it’s about being fit, then being tired, pushed physically to you limit, then still having to perform, you, by yourself can’t put your self in those conditions, and some how if you do, you me have to commit to it 24/7, meaning you’d have to skip school if you’re a student, or refuse to work because some reason torturing yourself is more important, and there’s more to being a deal than being in shape, what you take away from it is a specific mentally, that when you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything, but you can’t get that from just being fit, it comes from being mentally broken, and still wanting to proceed, plus land navigation skills, expert in hand to hand combat, expert in diving and dive physics, and expert explosives and demolition, which can all translate out of the military
Know 1 they learn to be mentally strong figuring things out in a tough situation with no hesitation, and you have to have allot of brains and not just strength to be a SEAL
Jackson saw that ice bath and instantly thought, man I’m at home now lol.
Fr he was probably like yo lets do this at the end
It didn't really surprise me at all that Jackson was able to handle the training he forced to do, it basically required teamwork, focus, endurance, stamina, the ability to think quick or react intelligently and have common sense. Most Pro NFL players need these specific skills to be successful in that profession, so it made sense that he nailed this.
@Eric N No he in no way attempted any tactical or actual military combat exercises and none of the serious mental stress situations they go through had anything to do with it, I just said it made sense that an NFL player could endure the physical he was actually put through. The physical aspect of special forces isn't the difficult part because normally anyone trying to enter BUDS or other special forces teams are somewhat close to the top of their game physically and the constant barrage of all of the other things they have to endure are where they crack. I would like to see them actually attempt more of the combat side of training to see if they can meet those requirements.
That was what I was thinking
@Eric N I guess it's a combination of clear mind and genetics. You have to break the barrier of your brain and your body working accordingly. Your brain gives far before your body. That's why people with mental disabilities appear really strong.
"There are two ways to do things, the right way, and again"! Now that's motivation.
R.I.P 🙏🏽 Vincent..was recommended this video an hour before he was announced dead
Saw this video just hours before hearing about his death just now. Strange

Nice to see an NFL player saying how much respect he’s got for our boys!
Show one that didn't
will holsey lol haha, well there’s a little guy that’s been the flagship name for Nike the past year. Name’s Colin Kaepernick (49er’s) but you’ve probably never heard of him
I’ve definitely never heard of a Colin Cappernic, who did he play for?
Approving do you even know the reason why he was kneeling?
Kaepernick got the idea to kneel from a U.S. Army veteran...
Who else got this after hearing of his passing?rip Vincent Jackson.

Guy is a foot taller than everybody
BlackManTravel yep. Typically shorter, lean dudes. I’m almost positive there was a 5’0” seal. Their smurf crew guys are usually 5’3”-5’6”

Rip Vincent Jackson you will always be loved
I remember when I was in BUDS (class 257). It was so hard. I’m so glad I woke up from that dream and realized I wasn’t a SEAL and was just a regular ‘Joe’ who was terrified of snakes, spiders and sharks.

RIP Man
I have always had respect for Vincent Jackson. Followed his football career since he was a Charger. Being a Buccaneers fan, I absolutely loved him in a Tampa uniform.
More importantly for me, his football career was about as long as my military career and I knew he had this appreciation from the jump.
I still have his old Bucs Reebok jersey, in pristine condition. I wonder; if I could mail it to him for a signature, would he do it?
Great content. Keep it up. I’ll keep watching.
Seems like he would. Cool guy. Not afraid to be a good person in today's mad world.
Well articulated person. Extremely well put together comment. You are a rare sight. I am high on acid right now

Thanks for the tips. I did not think to check on social media. Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers 🍻!

That’s not true. People do care.
Why the negativity? 😕
RIP VICENT JACKSON! As a San Diego native I admired him growing up. Seeing him do this Navy SEAL training in San Diego put a smile on my face. Don’t know if he was aware of it but he meant a lot to this City.

RIP V Jackson ❤️
As a Marine Mom, Seals are the best of the best! Thank god for each and everyone of them!!
Kim Sebring every branch has the best of the best
average players of course!
He grew up in my same neighborhood back in CO. A friend of mine used to play with him at Widefield High. They were our rivals and our team played them a few times. Though I never knew him personally, I knew of him. I was a fan ever since I saw him with the Chargers and even more so when he came here to Tampa. It is very sad and shocking that it came to this. R.I.P. Vincent Jackson. You will be missed.
RIP V. Jackson #itsabucslife
rip vince :(
Rest In Peace ❤️
Now multiply that by 100 n u start to get a glimpse of BUD/S training.

What's bud/s?
@daniel ampadu. It stands for basic underwater demolition/ seal. It’s the training that navy seals go through.
R.I.P Mr.Jackson
Who else is looking back on this after he just passes away? R.I.P. VJ
I feel so sad for you brother watching this I could just imagine if he had a group of guys like that around him he would still be here R.I.P champ we miss you
Try doing that every day for 28 weeks.
7 months of just nonstop pt with little sleep in between? ill pass
Exactly. OSUT training was tough enough for me. Like there are many occasions where I just f****** cried to myself like a little b****. This is that times like seventy-five. I almost literally can't even imagine
At least it’s not boring because you got guys with you.
Rest In Peace man
Wtf bro, I watched this yesterday and now I just learned that he just passed. Descansa en paz Vincent Jackson.
Rest In Peace Vincent . I pray for peace and healing for all your loved ones.

RIP man. You were a hero to me when I was younger
Navy seals are the cream of the crop, especially the tier 1 operators. I pity the enemy who thinks that they're taking down our SEALS.
Tier 1 is Seal Team 6, 24th STS, and Delta Force, but getting in to the seals is super tough.
They're not super heroes dude. They suffer massive casualties just like everyone else.
RIP VINCENT JACKSON
It’s amazing that those nfl guys get paid so much more then those military guys
Rip Vincent Jackson top chargers wide receiver
Man I really like people like that one Seal fit instructor yelling Hooyah! I was with a marine recruiter. He was a young man who pounded his desk and patriotically yelled “United States Marine” right in front of me. We need more people with energy like that in this world for the greater good.
Rest in peace ✌

Great video
I dont wanna be in the military but i wanna do something like this to see just how far I can push my body. I love physical pain. There is no better feeling than experiencing physical pain and not giving up. You feel like a super human.
I love this new series
Thanks for watching Marshall!
Rest in paradise Vincent 🕊🕊
I think almost everyone is capable to go through that physically, at least those who have done some sports in life and are not very overweighted - it's a mental stuff that only few can go through.
Also gotta remember these guys aren't getting treated like recruits, they do all the stuff but not the stress added to real life recruits because at the end of the day these dudes wont be seals lol
BUDS training you’ll run over 2,000 miles and swim over 150 miles. There’s a reason why people quit, only the ones that are willing to die before they quit pass.
It's not the same when you do the training compared to when you sign a contract and do the training, I feel like when you sign up for the military it's more of an obligation.
Specificity.
Lou Ferrigno tried out for the NY Jets. He was doing bent rows with 200+ pounds. A football player said "You think you'll be doing that two days from now?" "Sure. Why not?" Ferrigno said two days later he was too sore to bend over and puck up the barbell.
RIP got recommended to me after he died
rest easy vincent. fly high
