I'm just curious how Lianne and Margie became friends? It's a big help when you have locals to tour you around in a new place. Although you must have tried the Pomelo which is another local fruit in Davao that tastes really, really good, and should have gone to a seafood restaurant because Tuna fish is a must try when in Davao.
Durian Season usually starts month of August(if i remembered it right😅).. when the season starts, u could buy Durian for under a dollar per kilo depending on what variant. For someOne who doesnt like the Fruit, you could atleast try the Durian Candy as alternative. And oh! Samal Island is close by. Beaches there is highly recommended. Enjoy exploring Davao & be safe u two!😉🙂
Aside from the Durian candy, there is also the Durian shake that is pretty good, and readily available in the local restaurants (read: not fastfood) in Davao. The actual fruit is only for the adventurous soul, but rightfully a must try for foreign vloggers to capture the local color, or flavor of the area.
So cool. Try to come here in the north like Baguio City and La Trinidad,Benguet; Hundred Islands of Pangasinan, the Ilocos Provinces as well. Foodies and sceneries are absolutely also beautiful. Salamat po.

Durian is an acquired taste. You will get used to the taste after being exposed to it for some time. As for the jeepney, you can always ask the locals on how to go from A to B. I saw a security guard in the building while you were waiting for a jeepney. You could have asked him on what jeepney you should ride to reach SM Lanang. That is the easiest way to reach your destination.
Just came across your channel guys, love your accent! I’ll be going to vlog in Davao in the first week of July so I’ll be following your vlogs closely 😎

Great video, it was interesting to watch your reactions to eating Durian fruit. Is the consistency like an Avocado? It is great that you had someone that knew the area and places to explore.
Ukay-ukay literally means dig-dig. Because you need to dig into a mountain of clothes or shoes or any secondhand items. Enjoy your stay in Davao. Please visit Malagos, Eden garden and Crocodile Park. Then you can cross to Samal and enjoy the beach!

Hi guys finally you are in the city which my home is and I Am here in Saudi Arabia working abroad and you know what guys,I am very happy watching all your videos posted it makes my day smile and relax😘❤🇵🇭
Guys, whenever you eat Filipino foods you can do it with bare hands. if there are soups you can sip straight from the bowl. even the halo-halo you can sip the juice straight from the bowl. there is really no wrong way to eat Filipino foods because you can literally eat here with you bare hands if you prefer to. well, assuming you have done washing your hands before. if you have noticed some fast food stores will serve you with flimsy plastic spoons and fork. you can set them aside and use your bare hands instead. ok, enjoy your meals.👍😃
In Davao city it's better to take jeep within the city. the sign board has the name of the place to go and always ask driver where to go and stop. if there is no grab in Davao, then take taxi with meter to avoid overpriced taxi.
You both are so brave! I don’t like the taste of Durian.😛 Leanne, you were wondering what it tasted like? It reminded me of freezer burned ice cream!😂 I can’t imagine eating balut! Hats off to you, Leanne!😆
