At just 54 i haven't changed it much. The biggest change is more when dieting/deficit. Volume is necessarily reduced.

I started working out with my son a couple years ago and he taught me to stop using age as an excuse to not lift as heavy or work as hard. the last few years I was using age as a crutch. I’m almost 50 and I’m nearly just as strong was I was in my 20s-30s and getting stronger every day! Keep pushing forward! Yorkies rule.

Thanks for the message and wise words. I really appreciate you bringing this rarely talked about topic foreward. I’m 42 and have also struggled with this reality. Being forced to downsize because of injury and age is super tough to handle. Negative thoughts can go through our heads, “I’m tiny, I’m weak, my physique is shit now…” You mentioned about still giving 100% to the 50% we have left and that really resonated. We’re all going to get old; let’s support each other through this process and change our goals to be jacked old dudes. Thanks again.

I have followed his career for a long time. I like his attitude and view about getting older and injuries. I’m 50 and had to be realistic in some limitations. I don’t quite weight training or working out. I have to adjust and continue on. NEVER STOP. Thanks Frank.

Huge fan of you Frank. You've been through the mill but have always inspired me and I'm sure 100s of 1000s if not millions of fans. I'm 46 now and yes feeling the strain sometimes but like you I love the iron and that'll never change.
    All the best brother.
