The "Trump broke the media" explanation was brilliant. 17:00--"Donald Trump is a terrible human being. But he's really good at one thing, and that's getting people to expose themselves. And that's what he's done." That's absolutely spot on.
Except that the “Trump is a terrible human being” comment. Trump plays the bully boy to other bullies. In fact, Trump has cultivated literally thousands of friends for decades. He’s kind and faithful and there are scores of stories on how he reaches out to people that are sick and such. His public persona is not the same as his private personality.
Lying by omission is the main reason I stopped reading tabloids. If I have to go to internet forums to find out why, by whom and how I don't care for their services. This goes for politics as well as crime reporting.
Who’s paying for these expensive TV productions? How long will they lose money? Since the ads are being controlled by WEF, and boycotting conservative and alternative media. Who’s buying their products?
Trust is lost over time and is difficult to recover. I use keywords to within moments understand the bias of the writer. NYT was one of the last subscriptions I let go. Because of ideological capture, I will not return, and at least a decade will go by before I’ll trust any of them whether left-biased or right. ‘Journalism’ is dead at the hands of the internet in this time of choosing sides.
The idea that Vice was ever worth 5 billion is just absurd. As for The Atlantic, I used to enjoy it back in the 1990s, when it was still called The Atlantic Review.
I listened to this yesterday and recalled Thomas Chatterton Williams's suggestion at ~ 14;30: " The Atlantic is a great example of Legacy Media innovating, and I think getting things right and growing immensely." Seriously? That certainly doesn't square in the slightest (well, maybe the growing part is exempt, I don't know) with what I heard today, here, ruclips.net/video/t-OnuqUKRHk/видео.htmlsi=o_1vcb2nT5HoNOug&t=2439. Did The Atlantic own their propaganda? Williams seems to forget all about it. It's not a lot different from the NYT science writer claiming one was racist if they thought there was even a possibility that the virus may have escaped from the lab.

Agreed. Best point I’ve heard on the topic in a while.

Legacy media tries to tell us what to think and feel. It’s incredibly frustrating.
I adore these conversations. ❤
Love Andrew Gold. Always funny and charming.

Alex was the only one I found interesting and substantive. Dan was captain obvious.
Great stuff. Keep it coming.

Very good. Quite a few points of optimism.

Its good.
No mention of surreptitious government control of media of all types. Like it never even happened.
Yes it is.
Loads of people watch CNN et al on youtube etc and many other far left chanels, so don't base your analysis only on television viewing numbers.
