@liyaland You're right, "hoshi" means "star", in this case "aoi hoshi" is blue star. The translation of this is "Earth" because Earth is known as the Blue Planet, like a "blue star" (it's more poetic I guess ;-) ). The actual word for Earth is "chikyuu" (地球).
I've never heard a version by Peach Hips! I do have this song in my Sailor Moon R ~Mirai he Mukatte~ album from back on the day, but it's the Mitsuishi Kotono version like you have here. Always loved that album... this track, Route Venus and Starlight Kisu ni Shite are by far the best on the CD ^^. There are a few minor inaccuracies, but all in all a pretty good translation for someone who's still learning!
