I bought drum lab when it first came out. Really good plugin.
ha I left the room after hitting play, expecting minutes of typical RUclips blather - but you got straight to it! Thanks. I need this
Thank you!!
I had this plug in for year. Today, I decided to look up how to use the grooves. It's pretty much trial and error. But when you dragged the MIDI to the piano roll, I was like, "OH SNAP!"
I'm going to do a video and talk about what I figured out. See you in a week!
Right on man!
@@RomanRiccio How do I pronounce your last name? (Write out how it sounds.)
@@RomanRiccio also, do you know how to route the cymbals to a separate output?
@@meatyyumsteve It's like "rick-e-o"
@@meatyyumsteve There is a way but I haven't been able to make it work. I found a video explaining how to do it in Studio One and it should be almost the same for Logic - ruclips.net/video/zXNboFpp8t8/видео.htmlsi=r1v5p76YFaPQHMC6

Hi am thinking of getting Native instruments, could you tell me if you can control the b.p.m in any of the drum machines included. Much thanks
I control the BPM when I open the plug-in inside Logic and you can do that with any DAW.
Hey what kind of MIDI is that? looks very nice with the wooden trim.
That's an Arturia MiniLab Mk II
I'm having trouble using the grooves in Logic Pro. You dragged and dropped one in the video. Where on Drum Lab did you drag from? I couldn't see what area of the interface you dragged from?
There's a grey square right beside the name of the pattern with little arrows going in all directions... Click and hold and drag and drop. Hopefully that helps!
It seemed to me that this library and other libraries and vst do not surpass ezdrummer in sound quality. What do you think?
I am a huge fan of Toontrack. I use Superior Drummer all the time on my stuff.
im thinking getting copy for my pop productions
Right on!
does it have pre-programmed drum rolls?
I had a look in the grooves section and I don't see any drum fills or rolls in the list.
Ohhh i miss my 712 pro 😢
Yeah they're awesome!
What is the difference between this and the Logic's stock plugin (Drum synth)
I've tried using Ultrabeat briefly before and it's okay, but DrumLab feels a lot more user friendly and fun. These two plug-ins have very different sounds and I prefer the intuitive depth of control you get with DrumLab.
I don't know. I love drumlab a lot
Can you export wav or mp3 from drum lab?
Do you mean like to export individual drum hits, or grooves that you create?
Grooves that I create.
I know you can export midi. I'm thinking of purchasing drum lab, but if it can export grooves that I create to audio files (wav, mp3) I won't be able to use it.
@@allanbeckermusic I had a look and I don't see a way to export audio from inside the plugin. You would need to drag the midi into a track on a daw and use the daw to export the audio.
hey it is you how cool
y0u look good on camera
I now know a RUclips Superstar!!!!!!
hahah thanks David!!
THE absolutely WORST review video ever. "Hey, I just got it, didn't really try anything and have no idea what is what, but let me fumble around with a goofy smile".
Thank you!
