LOL But this is my favorite performance of this song because when he hits that note, you can actually hear ALL of it since the audience here does not scream & go wild like we usually do! LOL I have the whole show this is from on DVD. Was so glad the church released it for sale!

This is the Moment is from the musical Jekyll and Hyde. You could probably find it where you find other Broadway show music. It is also on Donny's album also called This is the Moment.
Interesting. The melody and harmonies of the song are very similar to "We Are The World"....my! I think we've found a formula! On the up side, though, Donnie and Marie are the real talents in this family, and this performance demonstrates Donnie's ability to sing with controlled emotion and power. It's a great performance!
maybe y'all should take a look at what filipino singers rendition of the song feels.... try erik santos's version and martin nievera's... erik is semi pro and martin is already pro, same as donny... but im not saying donny's version is'nt good huh... just a personal opinion....
Donny is by far the very best singer. I could listen to him all day and every day. Great talent. Love the song and really love the ending.

I like this and Donny is an amazing singer...
BUT I much prefer the Michael Ball version of this song!
I think it was originally recorded by the Moody Blues.
