Some other exchange students partied a bit too hard, even for student standards. They posted a shaky dark video in the group chat with a short glimpse of a Finnish police officer saying: "Please get up, it's not good to sleep on the lake", in that lovely emotionless Finnish accent.
    That's 100% the same vibe
Also my first attempts at ice skating were so bad, a random Finnish person thought I was drunk and tried to tell me to go home and sleep it off. (I'm not visually distinguishable as a foreigner, which often lead to fun situations like that)

@@Rottensparrow You do understand right, that USA's police is very ready to shoot civilians no matter their ethnicity? Even if we take minority groups out of the count, USA still shoots proportionally more people than Finland.
Perhaps the fact that in USA police training is 6 months, and in Finland 3 years is more important?
Or maybe gun ownership being so badly regulated in USA is more important?
Or just corruption in police force being higher in USA than in Finland is more important?
USA's police is really bad, and racism doesn't solve that.

A bit more objective research than those that watch police cam videos of unarmed guys getting shot in the back. Then blaiming the victim for moving too quickly, talking too loudly or not being submissive enough quick enough. Strangely these same people opposed mask mandates during an epidemic & wouldn't see any irony or hypocrisy in it. But I'm sure you understand where they're coming from. Right

Sorry I don't have a catalogueed list of these incidents. Those two are what just came to mind. here's a funny search which gives a video of an entire patrol shouting contradicting commands at a person who's having a mental breakdown. They then taze and shoot at him with beanbag rounds multiple times and eventually kill him.
Then man was inside a car, called the cops and only had a knife.
Also there was this really hilarious moment when two cops lock a person in their car, which is on the train tracks. The car gets run over by a train.
Oh, how about that time when a cop murdered a person over an alleged counterfeit dollar? That one is pretty famous.
More recently, there was this weird moment where an entire police department was unable to stop one guy with a gun, but also used a kid as a lure to find out where the shooter was.
You know who cops were able to stop? A literal child who dropped his gun and was complying to the cops. Oh and that kid died, because of bullets, fired from the guns of cops.

Of course the cop got off without any charges and even got a $30,000 severance package and a job with another department.
