How to reset HP Probook 6470b...it is not listed
Apparently Mazzif, the creator of that software that cleans the BIOS password, is the only one I have been found on the internet who is able to wipe clean an existing password just by software alone, without having to replace the firmware chip. Unfortunately my HP model, the 8770w, is not on the list. Does anyone here know if there is such a hack as the one presented in this video for the model I have, HP Elitebook 8770w.

Vadim Vad you can chack the list after press DOS THEN 1 press then show you a list , all model have a serial number you can select you model serial number .

I Choose-Second Run. And then what model number should I choose? The label "Notebook is not supported (1619)" is repeated 4 times. Fifth fifth already-Current Serial Number - 5CB149392C. Can I choose 5 at the second launch? This will be an Elitebook 8460p. Or can't you do that? The BIOS will overwrite incorrect data and may stop running at all?
Everything worked out. You need to select Shotgun twice. The second time, the laptop overloads itself and everything works.
