Brothers are always talking about and not agreeing with each other. I have two brothers, and sometimes we didn't get along, but eventually we worked things out. The family dynamic is unitque to each family, so only they know how things went. Will there be a tribute show? I hope so.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that there is 0.0% chance of a tribute show at this point. This AI video is based on a years old story. I wish the speculation would end.
Van Halen started by playing in the smallest of rooms and back yards of Pasadena. They need to do a one night only tribute shows at the biggest venue in Pasadena, The Rose Bowl. Film the entire thing for Pay per View and donate the proceeds to Cancer Research. Want to know how it would go, just take a look at the Taylor Hawkins shows. Just like that. DLR and Sammy get equal number of songs and have to provide their backing bands, If Alex wants to play with them or anyone else, I am sure there is not one drummer who would give up his spot to let him, Just get it done.
Alex is trash. If he wasn’t Eddie brother we would have never heard of him. The dudes a jerk and treated people like crap. ( Sammy and Michael) Still living off eddies talent. Could care less!
It won't happen.... Alex sold off his drums, doesn't want to play without his brother. Alex Van Halen is set in his ways and will not go forward without EVH.
But I thought Sammy’s best of all worlds tour was a tribute to Eddie, like I said before it’s the best of Sammy’s tour not Eddie he doesn’t care about no one but himself and a money grab tour!!!
As a Big VH fan, I’m not interested in a VH reunion. With out Ed, it’s never going to be VH. I saw them at the Golden West Ball room in 1975. And twice at the LA Forum. They were Awesome in their Hay Days. But that time has passed with Ed’s passing. RIP Ed, The Guitar virtuosa of our time.

Maybe if the proceeds goes to veterans or something similar he might jump in…who knows
