I'm a musician, I saw the 2004 Louisville Kentucky show. Eddie was terrible! I couldn't even recognize some of the songs until Sammy started signing. Sam would introduce a song and EVH would play something different. I had seen Van Halen perform several times before on other tours Eddie always sounded great but I left there feeling I was cheated. Eddie's demons on full display.
Yeah, they hid Eddie Van Halen's worst addictions... He was using crystal on that '04 tour. He was out of it... Zakk Wylde recalled seeing Eddie at Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell's funeral in late '04 and said the guy was "on Mars" - he couldn't even carry a conversation. Sammy Hagar said that he was shocked by Eddie's appearance in '04... he was missing teeth and wouldn't bathe for days... When Eddie went to rehab in '06, Van Halen fans were quietly aware that he was being treated for crystal addiction.
@@sumonjamal1653 cocaine to . I used to work for company back home and they were a limousine driver who told me that Eddie Van Halen was snorting cocaine in the limousine. I saw them several times twice at the cow palace and twice in Concord pavilionand and they were very amazing 3 out of 4 times. Eddie was not right the last night And you can see that Sammy was trying hard to be happy and just wanted to make everyone happy and enjoy their time together. But you can see the tension between the band members except, Michael Anthony he was just playing music. I believe Sammy, Hagar and Michael Anthony are perfect together. You can see them together and play music and enjoy the time together with so much fun and laughter and joy making music and fans enjoy the music and have fun. I thought Sammy Hagar was a better singer than David Lee Roth clearly. Roth is always about himself and still is. He is always trying to make himself like his the greatest thing ever. He always tries to to take credit for everything that they did. Sick really sick
I don’t know , Ed brought the bumblebee and put it in the coffin with Dime. Seemed like he knew what he was doing. But I wonder who with and how he even got started with meth? I remember, I felt the same way seeing them live in 2007 here in LA. I guess he must’ve been off the meth by then, but seemed to be completely drunk and belligerent on stage. So, I never went to see them again. Fortunately, I did get to meet Eddie and talk with him a little bit in 2014, when he was completely clean and healthy.
@@Patriot-x8y Eddie was always doing coke since the 70's... ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli said they were both high when they got married... and Eddie never got that bad onstage all the way to the 90's... The opening band also confirmed that things were so bad that Alex Van Halen would not be around Eddie anymore.
Not for Al he was sober but his blind commitment to Eddie added fuel to the problem if Al said Eddie this behavior has to stop things could have been different
From what has been said they only brought back Michael Anthony in 2004 for the tour because Sammy refused to do it if they didn't. They originally kicked him out of Van Halen because he played bass on Marching to Mars and was friendly with Sammy

This is why DLR originally left VH. The clash of egos between him and Eddie, of course, but Roth has stated that he saw the dark side of Eddie. Eddie didn’t like being upstaged by David, a natural showman, and it erupted into jealous anger.
That sounds like Dave's side of the story from later on. There are always at least two sides. I heard Dave had a problem being upstaged by Ed's actual talent. Ed always thought Dave was a marginally talented clown but was a great promoter of the band. They rejected him repeatedly at first, until it became economically feasible to let him in so they didn't have to rent his P.A. anymore. Both Dave and Ed heavily indulged in drugs (particularly coke) during the time immediately before Dave left the group.

Hagar has always said it went downhill as Eddies alcohol and drug addictions got worse. Let’s be honest if it wasn’t for Wolfie Eddie would have passed away even sooner than he did. As an ex addict I know exactly how hard it can be to get back to some semblance of normal. Sad though glad they managed to speak before he died and have some closure.
That green booney hat Sammy is wearing at 1:30 was my hat....I threw it on stage. I watched him sign it but I never got it back. When I threw it on stage, it landed right on the drum riser between AL's bass drums. Cincinnati 9-18-04
There were a number of years where Eddie lost his mind due to drugs and alcohol........Destroying the interior of a private jet and trying to break out a window with a wine bottle at 20,000 feet ??????? He did clean up, but it was too late......Eddie and Sammy made amends before Eddie passed with both telling each other "I love you", so that is a good thing. Cheers !
That with the airplane happened on the 04 tour before Sammy & Mike made arrangements for their own plane , I was at the 04 show in Detroit , last row upper deck for $100 Eddie sounded like shit , I honestly don't know how they survived 80 shows .
I feel you on that! I heard Zeppelin was like that. They didn't hate each other but I heard they didn't have much of a relationship outside of the band. The Stones were pissed at each other for years and didn't talk. They still sold out stadiums!
That's what happens when demon alcohol takes over. Sammy wanted to get out of that tour, but he didn't for contractual reasons, because all the losses as a result of that departure would be for him to pay.
At this time in the life span of Van Halen , as a band, I don't think it was "egos" in the way nearly so much as Drugs, alcohol and if you buy into Sam's description of it..... a new manager that was a terrible mistake that created some really unnecessary conflict within the band. Sam describes Ray Daniels as a guy who just "poisoned" relationships between members of the band. A band that had worked well together for more than 10 years before Daniels showed up in the mix of personalities.
It'd be interesting to know if this was before or after Sam realized the tour was something he never should signed on for. Sam has said publicly that he stayed on the tour for all the dates the contract required of him because there were huge contractual penalties for ending it early. Yet, he realized almost immediately that Ed's addictions were so out of control that the tour really shouldn't have happened. Gotta wonder if this isn't behind how things got so bad between Ed and Sam. Easy to imagine that something like this happening could have either been the final straw or a reaction to Sam's obvious disgust with how things were going. As a long time fan of Eddie's playing this was a sad period of time. Hearing this story only re-enforces how grateful I am for the idea that Eddie managed to "Clean up" and play well again before cancer took him away too soon. Drugs and Alcohol......it's amazing how many lives get derailed by 'em.
There's a video concert out there where Sammy was singing facing Eddie and they both were grooving into the song. SH would motion hand signs in a form of taking Eddie's head down and deep throating him while gyrating. Awww man EVH got pizzed, shook his head NO, turned away and continue to perform. Soooo maybe that was why Eddie kicked him in the jewels.
It's sad when bandmates don't get along. Some only stay together for the music and money. Hopefully Sammy and Eddie were at peace before the latter's death.
You and I are the same age and I have been playing in local bands since I was 16. My life has been filled with music for my entire life. I was playing keyboards since I was 4 and I picked up a guitar seriously when I was 19. I have perfect pitch and it has made learning songs and playing songs from memory easy. Over the years I have been in many good bands that were broken up because somebody didn't like the way things were going. With all of our hero bands I find it disturbing that bands like Robert plant and Led Zeppelin or Steve Perry and Journey gave us all this good music and we enjoyed it. These bands gave us their heart and soul in music and drew us in because we loved the songs. The songs remind us of a place and time in our lives. We are getting old rand our heroes are getting even older, but yet the band won't get back together even for e reunion concert or a short tour. I think Plant and Perry both are selfish to refuse to give us a final anthem of the music they once offered to us freely. We trusted them and their music and then for whatever reason they stopped giving us our favorite tunes. It is selfish of them and very unfair to us dedicated fans who would love to hear their heroes at least one last time. It wouldn't be as good because they are old and the keys might have to be dropped a step or two but I am sure the passion and connection to fans would still be there. Zeppelin gave us the concert at the 02 arena for Ahmet and I was hoping that might do a final tour. Or Perry should have sang with Journey at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Sammy was more than willing to put the past aside and do a Van Halen final tour when Eddie was battling cancer, but he was refused. It is a sad situation for us fans that they didn't reunite.
@@joshpelton8068- just look at pictures from that time period. His teeth are black and his head looks like a skeleton skull. He has the classic meth mouth.
Eddie no doubt had his demons. But DLR isn’t a rockstar without Eddie and Sammy was already a solo star who if he wasn’t with Montrose, he would never have been nearly as big. But I walked away from a deal in 1986 when I started seeing people I did gigs with or even played in our band dying from drugs and alcohol and one shot himself in the heart….twice with a pillow over his heart and a touchy trigger. I wrote all the music or finished the other guitarists riffs. But we didn’t change anything from 85 to 86 but I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. This was a problem after I started to read the word and realized “that God was not giving me the desires of my heart and it was Satan had me because I started playing guitar and drums at 7 years old. But I soon realized that there’s no way that God would be happy with me playing the music I was playing. Ironically the singer got saved a year later and when I left, they never played another show again. But the songs that The New Music Seminar wanted I wrote the music and my now brother Bob law wrote what we used to think was more gutter rock but sadly, that’s what sells in this world. But I couldn’t do it anymore and I don’t miss it at all. I’ve been with the same lady since I was a freshman in HS and I’m 60 today and so many bands started to come out if Chicago in the eighties and we could have been one of them. But I love the Lord more than I’ll ever love music and so many people die in the music and Hollywood industries for a reason. It’s ran by Satan who they most definitely do curses on the masters before anything is mass produced. Even guys like David Crosby admitted that. But all the doors began to open with radio station interviews and record deal offers ONLY AFTER I accepted Jesus Christ my Messiah! It is Satanic to the core! Poor Eddie was off the hook and he still got caught up in the fact that he changed music for guitarists forever. I do hope he accepted Jesus before he died. Sorry things were off with Eddie that night. But you came out alive and I know so many people that didn’t make it out alive. Lord Bless Brother
Everything I've heard and seen about Eddie Van Halen has just shown him as an overgrown toddler and a piece of crap to everyone around him. No amount of talent or success gives anyone the right to be hateful to others.
Actually, Eddie was a pretty damn good guy. He was at a very low point during that tour with drugs and alcohol. He died clean and I'm proud of him for straightening himself out.
@@AnthonyStoval both things are true, in my opinion. When he was sober he probably was the sweetest guy everyone claims he was but when he was off the wagon, he could be a true monster. I believe he was a real life Jekyll and Hyde.
@gregmcdonald8962 Nah, stop it. Quit sanitizing Ed as 'he was only that way when drunk'. Watch the tons of videos on youtube about people that actually knew Ed, if you spent any kind of time around him, he would be mean to people after a while being around him. Probably bi-polar. Wolfgang himself said it was sometimes hard to be around his dad even at the end (when he was sober). Read Vals takes on Ed.
@RichardGutierrezRG So you're saying he's a human being like the rest of us. We all can be an A hole at times, Mr Perfect. What's next? Michael Anthony is the heart, soul, and sound of Van Halen? It's usually your type that bashes everything about Van Halen.
Once I got over myself, at about 45yrs old🤣 I decided it was more important to have guys that could play good and be good people and team players, than it was to to have great players that were assholes.
Dave is Dave, that’s for sure. I read Noel Monk’s book “Runnin’ with the Devil.” Noel was their manager from 80-84. Eddie and Alex weren’t the best people to deal with either according to him. And he managed the Sex Pistols.
Ed definitely had the common alternate personality when drinking. Always confused me why he always threatened to kick Dave in the balls, and apparently he'd do it. Sammy probably performed with a cup and we just didn't know.
I think Ed was intimidated by Dave. At one point he ran to Kiss wanting to join that band because Roth was driving him crazy. Roth on the other hand once commented when you treat people poorly they leave. And the last year he was in VH wasn't fun. The first 10 years was great! I remember after the music awards Ed threatening to kick Dave in the balls but I never heard of him ever actually trying or doing it. I remember Dave telling a story about Alex beating up little Edward as Dave put it. And how it wasn't a good idea for Edward to be in a fight with someone who makes a living beating things. As far Edward getting into any physical fights with Roth goes id put my money on Roth any day of the week back in the day. Roth knows martial arts 🥋 on top of being a coked out drunken nut case. I don't think Edward could have handled that.
Ed was on a cocktail of drugs at the time. Reunion tour was a disaster. A band reunion was possible, but for Ed’s addiction. Sammy and Mikey had separate rooms from Al and Ed because they wanted to protect their voices from cigarette smoke. Al and Ed chain smoked, Mikey and Sam didn’t smoke at all. It was like that since the 5150 tour. Anyway, Ed was hostile a lot during that time. Even kicked Mikey off stage during a show. Mid-song, if I remember correctly. But he did it.
Regardless of any turmoil or problems that may have existed or occurred within the band, be it with DLR or Sammy, the output was phenomenal! It's unfortunate, however, what fame & fortune can do to a person.
Ed had a dark period for some reason,,, Addiction puts you over the top, But to treat addiction you must also treat the mind, Some under lining issue(s) was bothering Ed, This was also at the same time they screwed Michael Anthony over,
His marriage was dead. Thats what sent him over the edge. Bertinelli left Eddie in 2001. She filed divorce in 05, but they had been living apart for four years.
Being in a band is a hard job, endless touring and recording and all that comes with it. Stress is hard on people, especially when the fans and everyone else expect perfection. No wonder band members don't get along.
It makes me sad and disillusioned to hear that Eddie was so bad to someone .Kicking someone in the jewells is something you do to mugger or bar brawler; I can't justify doing that to Sammy in any circumstance, it leaves my heartsick that Eddie did that.
This is the only tour I never saw, and I’m so glad I didn’t. My favorite concerts are Van Halen concerts. Seeing this would have killed what I had witnessed previously. Michael Anthony is to Van Halen what Jason Newsted is for Metallica. They might not be considered “the talent” but their ability to hold everyone together was invaluable. It’s no surprise that once Michael Anthony wasn’t there anymore, new Van Halen records dried up.

I saw VH in 88 with SH, Eddie was phenomenal. While I love Sammy, as far as lead singers go, for VH specifically, no-one beats DLR. I'll always regret never seeing them live with DLR as lead singer. RIP Eddie💔
Saw them in Atlanta, GA on that tour .OU812...Tour....they were smoking hot you're right but to me they peaked on the next tour..pull : judgement day .live ...completely badass and to me that was the tour they PEAKED...LAID DOWN THE LAW ..
I saw them multiple times with both singers… I love both singers, but Roth’s vocals Sucked live. His Entertainment value only partially covered the out-of-time, too drunk to sing vibe. Hagar was just like the disks, every time I saw him
I seen Van Halen before they had a album out ! I got to party with AC DC on their tour bus. Chugged down a couple of Heinekens with Brian ! I got to meet Ozzy and got his autograph 👍
Eddie had substance abuse issues but he may had mental issues as well. I would have difficulty working with anyone who assaulted me. Sammy could have dropped the mike and walked away from VH forever that night.
I heard Sammy say in an interview with Dan Rather that he wanted to call it off, but he signed a contract for 80 shows. They were only about halfway through the tours, and if he quit, he would've to pay the band the lost income, so he gutted it out for the 80 shows that he was under contact for.
@mightymikethebear Sammy said in the interview that he had to announce the song that he was about to play, so Eddie would know what song to start playing to. He was so lost and out of it that Sammy would start singing a song, and Eddie was playing his 🎸 to another song or something off altogether.
I saw a show on that 2004 tour. Eddie was an embarrassment. A couple of guys next to me were getting into the show. I asked them “Do you really think this sounds good?” At one point in the show, Eddie said “I don’t even know what I’m playing” as if it was a good thing. It was not. Worst concert I ever saw and I’ve seen hundreds.
I always believed that, at the end of the day, you play music because you love too. When the time comes when you no longer love it, is when you walk away.
I love Eddie. My take and opinion is he was an alcoholic, and drug user, then he got the cancer. Even I would act out. I wish he could have got help sooner then he did. RIP Eddie the greatest guitar player. Also peace be well Mr. Alex Van Halen, it is tough loosing your younger brother, I also lost my younger brother. So I do know how Alex feels, and do think him selling his stuff is good for his sould. He had his time rocked the world, and now can sit back and enjoy the rest of his life.
Until he needs money again , then what ? I don't care how much he reportedly has , he always blew his money one way or another , hopefully he can make the rest of his days comfortably
I worked at cabo on the strip and I’ve met Sammy several times and hung out backstage a few times. I’m actually in an episode of R&R Road Trip, the one where Sammy interviews Shaq and Joe Elliot, and we got to see Sammy and Def Leppard play “Bad Motor Scooter” to like six of us in the Axis theater in Planet Hollywood. That being said, I have always gotten the vibe from him that he just wants to have a good time, play good music and have some good drinks. I really believe he played those shows for more than money. I think he was always trying to get back to that place when he and Eddie were true musical peers and just wanted to be friends again. Even as Eddie was being so nasty to him and Mike. Really sad how addiction made Eddie push those who loved him away.
Sammy always seems to be a down to earth type who wants to get along with everyone. Even Roth. But according to the videos of when him and Roth were touring Roth wanted nothing to do with Sammy while Sammy seemed to try and extend friendship to Roth.
I'm a musician for 50 years now. I would definitely block that kick to the nuts and after the song handle the issue, hopefully peacefully. King Edward was drunk and in a horrible state. So sad. Sammy is just wonderful, Mike too. Reverend Al, well...who knows.
Eddie was an emotionally immature man-child. His education seems to have stopped at High School, and other than that was NOTHING but guitar. I don't recall Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page being such a tool.
1:49 Alex didn’t want to be part of the drama. Lol. And nowadays he can’t even show Sammy or Mike enough common courtesy to call them back. Eddie was an amazing talent. But a horrible prick. Alex is no better.
@@mightymikethebear very possible. But shit - can’t return a phone call after all those years? He spent 20 years with Mike, 15 or so with Sammy. This whole comment section is rationalizing and reasoning why a drug addict would act like a drug addict. Drugs will destroy you, and everyone around you. They turn everyday people into monsters.
I believe that underneath it all he was a good hearted guy, but anyone who knows anything about cocaine abuse knows what it turns you into. Namely, a vengeful, vindictive, snide-remarking, sometimes aggressive prick. I've seen it dozens of times...
Eddie was toxic and ruthless for a long time. Great guitarist no doubt but not the perfect angel people make him out to be. Eddie was merely human like the rest of us.
One is embarrassed that someone would try to crush Eddy at the end, After Everything He Did… What do you think it looks like when one would rather “Crash And Burn”.
It probably wasn’t about having money, it was probably about losing money if they refused to do the tour. I’m sure somewhere in the contract it said if you don’t complete the tour you owe us X amount of money. And I’m sure it was probably a lot of money.
Eddie was a hero to many but he had some demons that really raised their head around that time, it was probably the lowest point in his life. He and Val's marriage was crumbling because of them and he really wasn't himself. For all of those that loved him we owe our thanks and great gratitude to Wolfie, the love of his son and his love in turn finally helped him conquer them later that decade and we got to experience Eddie at the top of his game again prior to his tragic early passing.
Booze and drugs bring out and amplify underlying hostility, which often there is no basis for to begin with. The same abusive addict will also be hypersensitive about even the simplest observations. They're constantly on the verge of taking their football, and going home.
I'm going to imagine that part of EVH's issues were spurned on by the inability to fully meet his potential.Alcohol can be particularly difficult, because if you have the genetics, it simultaneously helps and betrays physical and mental function, and has a very short period of effectiveness; it's difficult to maintain an even, functional ,balance. This is further complicated by the nature of his particular field of endeavor.Touring, you'd want to be at a height of function at a given time, and many other factors play in, - amount of sleep, jet lag, diet,etc..And this is likely where he started employing other drugs to try to maintain a level .Quitting requires a very long recovery time which can completely kill reasonable function, and I'm sure that alcohol and tobacco were intimately tied with his development as a player. He looked every bit the addict towards the end, and I'd imagine that between the alcohol and stimulants that there were few working brain cells left. Sometimes, the very things that make you what you are come at a high cost; I'm sure that he recognized this early on.Hardly an unusual phenomenon in the arts.I think that he had only begun to get into what he was capable of when the multiple abuses became unmanageable.
The more I find out about EVH the more I would distance myself and find a better place influence. I know that sounds like a cheap shot at who was my all time favorite guitarist. He had everything but the demons behind that mask and smile just keep appearing by people within that circle…. Sad sad things we find out. RIP EVH

Drug and alcohol addiction caused all of this.
Not for Al he was sober but his blind commitment to Eddie added fuel to the problem if Al said Eddie this behavior has to stop things could have been different
Or the person who eagerly took drugs and drank.
Yeah those thing escalate problems for sure. I've been there with bands when I was younger and it's a bad combination.
don't blame drugs or alcohol....eddie was a dickhead...his actions was all his

Must be a big reason why Mike is on the same tour with Sammy today. 🤓😎✌🏼

Dave himself said…you make the music and let the Jew sell it. The man has a way with words lol.

That’s so cool. I’ve been an insurance agent for over 20 years. I’d love to know how much his premiums were!

Eddie said he taught Randy Rhodes everything he knew. But I don't recall Randy being a miserable PoS to everyone 🤨
I watched an interview of Sammy Hagar & he said they were at 4,000ft.
Nope couldn’t be in a band like that matter of fact we would’ve been fighting right after the kick.
I feel you on that! I heard Zeppelin was like that. They didn't hate each other but I heard they didn't have much of a relationship outside of the band. The Stones were pissed at each other for years and didn't talk. They still sold out stadiums!
Aside from underage girls drugs and drinking. No not a lot in common.
That's what happens when demon alcohol takes over. Sammy wanted to get out of that tour, but he didn't for contractual reasons, because all the losses as a result of that departure would be for him to pay.

It a shame that all these egos can't get along.🤘❤🤘🇺🇸
🤦
The amount of shit I can handle is directly related to the size of the paycheck.
The great thing about the digital age is all of those songs are at our fingertips in high quality sound so it's all good👍
Eddie’s excuse for being an insufferable prick was booze. I wonder what Alex’s excuse is…

What a story. Sad. Great musicians. Thank you Bob. Melanie
Eddie was pissed off, or jealous at/of Shinedown, and literally pissed on Shinedown's catering food table during that tour, as well.
I was the drummer in the opening band on the last leg of the ‘04 tour and my experience was 100% exactly what is described. Insane!
He became a real scum bag but at least he turned it around and seemed really likeable again before his death
Sad story, thanks for the video Bob.
Thank you for sharing your story sir, very interesting...😮

Everything? Nothing ever positive about Eddie. Never saw him be nice to anyone before? Even Sammy would disagrees with that bs you just wrote,
@gregmcdonald8962 Nah, stop it.
I'm confused...
I thought Roth was the asshole 🤷♀️
Sammy was a boxer before he was a successful musician. I think his father was a boxer as well.
I believe it
I think because Edward was Roth's bitch for so long Edward had to take it out on lesser people.
Maybe Sammy wasn’t hitting the high notes.
😂
🤣💨
🤣
Youthful men

Michael Anthony is to Van Halen what Jason Newsted is for Metallica. They might not be considered “the talent” but their ability to hold everyone together was invaluable. It’s no surprise that once Michael Anthony wasn’t there anymore, new Van Halen records dried up.

@@douglasshortridge4343 I saw that interview. Sammy probably had to distance himself from the brothers when they were not on stage.
@mightymikethebear Sammy said in the interview that he had to announce the song that he was about to play, so Eddie would know what song to start playing to. He was so lost and out of it that Sammy would start singing a song, and Eddie was playing his 🎸 to another song or something off altogether.

Sammy Hagar book is worth reading.
The 2004 tour was very painful to see Ed in such sad shape ,it hurt to see him like that
Without either singer Dave or Sammy how would Van Halen be remembered? They wouldn’t is the answer.
I wonder if Ed would have ever tried kicking Dave in the balls?
I could be wrong but i have a hunch that such an act wouldn't have ended well for Ed.
Couldn't work with someone I didn't like.
Absolutely tragic ...eddie in the grips of substance abuse ..
Eddie was an emotionally immature man-child. His education seems to have stopped at High School, and other than that was NOTHING but guitar. I don't recall Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page being such a tool.

Eddie was toxic and ruthless for a long time. Great guitarist no doubt but not the perfect angel people make him out to be. Eddie was merely human like the rest of us.

So what, Ed had problems,we all do.Thats no excuse for his foul behavior!
Eddie is lucky Sammy didn’t beat the crap outta him. Sammy can brawl. His old man showed him how to battle.

It probably wasn’t about having money, it was probably about losing money if they refused to do the tour. I’m sure somewhere in the contract it said if you don’t complete the tour you owe us X amount of money. And I’m sure it was probably a lot of money.
I heard Eddie Vedder assault music in the 90s.
I got humiliated by my lead band member/friend on stage. It hurt i stayed composed and i swore never to go on stage with him.
Drugs and alcohol open doors to demonic entities. Wealth and fame only fan the flames 🔥.
Ed's in a box and Sam's still Rockn you get what you give in life...
Eddie didn't have demons, Eddie was the demon
this guy has it all wrong. It was not an assault at all. Sammy couldn't hit the high notes like David Lee Roth so Eddie was trying to help him
I'm going to imagine that part of EVH's issues were spurned on by the inability to fully meet his potential.Alcohol can be particularly difficult, because if you have the genetics, it simultaneously helps and betrays physical and mental function, and has a very short period of effectiveness; it's difficult to maintain an even, functional ,balance.
He should have been wearin’ a cup!
The more I find out about EVH the more I would distance myself and find a better place influence. I know that sounds like a cheap shot at who was my all time favorite guitarist. He had everything but the demons behind that mask and smile just keep appearing by people within that circle…. Sad sad things we find out. RIP EVH
