I suggest while doing deliveries, record, record, record. Put a recorder with voice activation on in your car and an extra device by hand so in the event someone tries to lie on thee, you are totally covered!
It is good to see somebody is giving information out on how to get these contracts since the USPS only supplies it's own drivers for short distances.

I just liked & subscribed I I stumbled across the answer to one of my many prayers it appears, I'm a single parent going to make it...I am going to start a Courier Service and I was told I needed a particular type of vehicle, registered company etc. But I see that isn't true your driving a regular car.... See we have so.many of the same ideas plans from courier service to real estate to clothing to radio station to name a few ....
Great Video. I used to work as an independent courier for over 20 years in Germany. Now I work for a contractor at German Postal Service. I‘m trying to get a Greencard for the US and want to hop into the Business again. I have a CDL A here too but it would not be transfered into a US CDL As I’m in the mid 50‘s, I don’t want to make the CDL all new. Cargo Van makes more fun. Like your Videos a lot.

I had somebody deliver certified mail in a car and I was so confused and now I see this video lol
But sometimes that happens if USPS workers volunteer to use their own car if they don't have a vehicle for them to use. It use to happen alot at my station. We were always 2 vehicles short and no one wanted to use their cars lol

I just had a question about not being able to do a postal route with a cargo van .when I was first turned on to your channel if I’m correct you were doing a postal route out of a van but not even a cargo van or even a car ? Then later seen you doing out of your cargo . I would have to assume if your truck is down your using what is available ? But I think I get you already established the route with a commercial truck ?

Hey my sister just got hired at post office! She busted her ass! Was only trained 5 working days she converted her car. Her heart was all in it!! She even on her off day drove her route. Some catty girls working the place having pull being there awhile gave her a bad review had her fired because they could not bully her. I think the bitches cut corners an my sister has integrity. Exude my language but I'm upset she was discriminated against I feel. We're in Paris TEXAS she wants to do the job still she liked it!
If she wants to keep doing it I think it's definitely possible. The only reason I use possible is because Idk how big her vehicle is and if she chooses to go the independent courier route they'll probably give her multiple post offices. Anyway sorry to hear about what happened let her know that I have a free video on the home screen of my channel that'll teach her more about this business for free and after that she can decide if this is a viable route for her to take moving forward. Yes you need your own business and you can't do it on this level with a terrain but depending on your area you maybe able to do something to get your foot in the door. You get the most bang for your buck with a cargo van.

C Corp is highly recommended. IT HAS THE MOST PROTECTION. LLC is a LIMITED liability corp, this means there is LIMITED protection to the owners.

Depends on the age of the felony and the nature of it. Different companies make their own standards as to who they trust to move their freight.

I'm working a route now as a sub that is going to become available. I filled out a ps 5439 to become eligible for bids. I mailed my form. How will I hear back from them? Will I receive a letter back or email?
Starting out as a cargo van IC I'm thinking I should pick up contracts to stack? Stack the opportunities i could find such as newspaper delivery then maybe meds hot shots finally finish out the day doing something else? Is the idea or model! The problem is, how to find the right situations in my area at least initially? Does that make sense to you?

Do they have contracts for truck owners with our own trailers? Meaning full size class a commercial truck and trailer? Currently make around 3500-4500 a week take home after expenses hauling port container freight -- is there opportunity to make similar to that like say minimum 5-6k a week gross? If so I'll purchase your book and communicate further with you via email etc...
Those opportunities exist but that's not what im talking about or my book is about.
Quit hauling that cheap freight and you will gross 6-8K a week with only 1900-2200 miles

Nope it's usually higher. Smaller companies will let you go with $300,000, if you go direct you need at least $1,000,000 coverage.

You need a company name and you must set up a company profile to be approved by the postal service.
