Big tip for free power, use 25 power to get a Huge Salvage from huge wrecks (helicopters, tanks, apcs) and it'll give you 300 materials, then you can turn that 300 materials into 30 power. Net gain of 5 power per wreckage.
The knight cataphract blueprint drops in snow biome difficulty 1 in a free roam location. It will be in the cab of a yellow dump truck at the far end of the map. I don't know if it is a guaranteed spawn, but I have seen it there in three different campaigns for three different people.
Learned a very underestimated mechanic, if you hold your Reload key (R most likely) while having your gun out, you can change up the ammo alot faster than the Use Item method
I found the knight hanger BP in one of the non-landmark nodes of the snow ruins diff 3. It was in one of the nodes where you can see a huge looming wall. If its the correct node, use area scan and it should be located in one of two yellow dumper trucks.
So sorry for the delay in making more content, I lost my last save of 35 hours (my fault!) and had to build it all back up again! Content should be coming more frequently from now on =)

they have all previous saves in your appdata local u01, they have a long name but you put that in your save game and replace the savegamedata, by renaming that file copied over

to anyone having trouble with nanochips, just do infinity siege mode until you get one from supply boxes. MUCH MUCH faster than randomly doing tours for a (VERY)slim chance to get one. also note that the containers in infinity siege mode are bugged at the moment, it says it will take your items back to your warehouse after extraction but it doesn't so just put anything you want to your inventory before extraction. hope they fix this soon.
When you interact with the container does it have an option in the bottom right to send back to outpost? I've noticed a similar thing happen with the extra container one can get as a modifier in runs and it actually needed to be manually sent back after you load in the loot.
focus getting to snow 5 before doing the mid game tips and tricks, the final location is a hotbed of potential loot surplus and perfect point for introducing the manual load drone - no doubt a key tactic for ensuring loot extracts for those hitting levels for the first time. its also the next great spot for cannon shells. introduce buying basic mats from the shop, keeping mission resource packages for the traders, keeping certain high value items for 'barter' trades - mention the need for ore and lumber in the mid to late game, plus their use early on as extra energy surplus. i would mention the difference between a loot building and the drone building with energy batteries (if the door is open / closed). a good recommendation to new players is without a doubt differentiating between pushing the envelope into a harder region or farming a current familiar one - higher levels have higher chances and more options for loot gen. also focusing on the card affects for increasing take home loot and the concept of minimum picking target loot for guaranteed bonus loot on extract for successful recovery. all this will boost you into prefacing a late game farming video. very few videos have focused on the legendary - orange - effect card which boosts potential valuable loot drops. so far ive seen up to three drop microing a full tour, and in the tail end this can mean a whole extra poi per instance along the tour (those usually being more valuable / interesting pois).
i found a hanger, cryo and pyro cannon on my first foray into snow ruins 1, my mistake was taking a lvl1 local operative in, ended up losing on recovery day because i tired to hug a boss, forgot what it's called. Oh and the local operative had the rocket pod
Don't forget for faster material gathering on recovery day you can spend a little power on upgrading the miners! (click said mining towers to see upgrades)
Join a high level mission in multiplayer, enter a mech, get 200k gold as reward and buy all materials (except red ones for big cruiser canons) from the market place. No need to farm
As Christian said this is Outpost: Infinity Siege, a mix of most game genres all in one, and it did get a bad review state to begin with but it's been out 8 days and had 8 patches already. The team are right on the case and it's getting better and better each day 🙂 Personally, for the price, it's worth the value to me but have a look at some videos and see what you think before buying!

Started playing yesterday with a friend, today we reached the snow area and terribly failed the (maxed difficulty) defense 🤣 Learned the hard way about enemies flanking once the frontline is destroyed. Question for you though: I have a high spec pc but manage to only get 40-60 fps on the normal predet, how is your game so smooth? What are your settings perhaps?
The flanking thing is only gonna be true till city. city 1 they hit you from 3 sides from the get go. also they are still optimizing the game atm its one of those games that runs better on lower spec for some reason lol my pc is decent and i sit around 90 fps
@@Bronxhdon't know if it costs to much but the new 4070 super would pro be a good card. It's around 500 bucks. It was very comparable to my 4090 while it was broken for 2 months
Use insurance. Sell unwanted weapons and weapon parts in the warehouse. It well tell you how many insurance points you have at the bottom of that screen. Then go to your operatives' backpack, right-click on what you want to insurance and click insurance , a little sheild will show up on the bottom of that item.
Just quick question when you send loot to warehouse currently i cant pull any out only sell. do i have to progress story bit farther to withdraw it? Have lots of armor and other mission items cant do anything with. only few hours into grind just wondering. thanks
@halfdeadsaint9151 o a good idea is to try to get cryo as a xeno so you can put it in as a prime bullet, turning your main dps into cryo. Helps with tank units. Damn there missiles
you have the option to struggle through squad management in the barracks as you cant quick sort filitered gear there, my recommendation is if you remember to do it right in the sortie prep for a new tour, select the op you want and gear them up - you can also strip operators in the same fashion.

Well as for me i am currently stuck on the mission where i have the fight the massive boss due to the fact my outpost lacks the means to hold off the massive amount of smaller mob spwns.I do have to 2 CIWS on my base with 2 twin 30mm and a few MG turrets.But that isnt enough to hold off the waves while i have to deal with the main big boss.Is there a method to cheese it or something? As for farming i could really use another hand with that.
do you have a level 30 operator? have you gone to the barracks and spent trait points to max out that operators buffs? if you are referencing the kronos omega i think it was, this seems to be scripted to only you are shooting it and need to kill it. the red heat cores signify weak points, focus those for bonus damage. if you are meaning the standard kronos encounter you should look into the methods for 'configuring' your turrets ie. allocating priorities. single and double 30mm should nearly exclusively be for large + or even left only on massive (for the big bosses). you can strip or equip operators when in the choose operator section of sortie for a tour. while you don't have a full set of gear and aren't confident strip any operator you use and gear up if you take in a low level operator and BE CAREFUL as you may lose all of it. I recommend doing a run to test the waters with fae first to familiarize and then evaluate if you want to farm that difficulty run for whatever purpose. by the time you look at farming any variant of kronos - you should have up to ~20 MGs split between the three vectors, ~10 30mm single cannons for safety to clutch any close calls with bigger hostiles - always, always, always deploy sufficient defenses at the first frontal outpost as it makes the entire recovery day much easier than getting flooded from three sides. regular kronos with a good outpost plus guardians can be potentially limitlessly pumped out for easy combat potential and a single cataphract you have many options to take down a kronos. last but not least, use the prewar artillery in combat mode, assign configuration and 'enable autofire" ie power on the cannons to have free fire against massive targets. when in outpost build mode an option is available to set control groups and preset configuration to save you the micro in real time. ps. clean out all the pois on the tour and you should be able to accumulate enough materials to mass build turrets with your allocation of supported artillery nests which is more than enough to get you through the chaff. you just need to remember to also print spare ammo crates and refill the turrets.

After seeing all the updates these past few days, it's probably on their list of things to fix so have faith in them.

game requires FSR frame generation to run smooth. RX5000 series or newer, RTX2000 series or newer. anything below is a bad bad time.

When you start a mission go to backpack, you can pull your gear from storage

How do I get bigger storage to extract more supplies every supply run I do?
Upgrading your core output will give you a bigger storage in the mobile base, so craft more generators 🙂

Massive bot on the desert? I did it with just one CIWS and no twin 30mm at all. Just find a good sniper core so u can take down the boss faster.
