Extremely well put together video, thanks for all the tips. I'd expect this level of quality editing and voice over to have been produced by someone with 10's or 100's of thousands of subs, I'm stunned to see your channel isn't already at that level. I'll be subbing and looking forward to your next video 👍
Problem I have with this game is on the recovery day, the terrain is so dynamic that placing down walls or towers is such a pain in the ass. Really enjoy the game and I hope they address this in the near future.
Game is hella fun, definitely could've used an "Early Access" tag for sure, despite it's jank and performance issues, and the goofy voice acting, it's endless fun. The fact the devs are communicating and working to address issues in the community is very promising
Good video. I also have 2 big tips and 1 extreme tip. 2 big tips: In the shop you can buy fuel and also in the 2 shop ammunition boxes. Keep rotating until it comes should come after 5 rotations at the latest if not continue playing story Then start your tour with enough of both. Then use the fuel to mine trees to get material and wood. (All trees can be mined) Wood for supply crates that increase your material storage. Throw ammo crates into the first container for the defence mission at the end or keep a few for the maps. Ready enough material and ammunition for the tour without using power or material. 1extreme tip: Increase the core power with small power generators and attach them to your core and build functional plates with power generators. Core power increased the radius of your X-field and thus the harvesting range of your core for material without power consumption, strengthened all your towers and increased container space I'm in the medium 3 level story and take 300 fuel and 10 ammo crates with me. My record at the end rating is 250.000 core power 750 harvesting range 75m game play 35h
A bit of an update, One of the patches since this vid they removed the energy cost on making ammo and increased the material cost to 100 so now its just 100 material for ammo also the battery you find is 1/s for 60s so its 60 power. Dogs AI is iffy so they can be mostly ignored ive had 20+ on map after me and just ignored them for the most part. 1 Tip from me if you have extra materials at the end of recovery day make ammo boxes and take them out with you. You can turn a handful into a "Ammo Case" and arty shells into a "shell case" . The cases hold more rounds and take up less space. Ammo case is 9 ammo boxes so you just take one of those with you on tour and you'll have ammo for the recovery def just make the cases in your outpost as needed to get by on exploration days.
Looking around for guides an ideas for early to mid game, been sol on weapon drops an mods. The difficulty 1 on the ice map kicked my ass something fierce.
The jump from Woodland to Snow is quite severe, and you may lose one or two attempts learning how it works for sure. Don't be afraid to grind out Woodland levels more for resources to improve your gear or make more turrets for your Outpost, it definitely comes in handy. You can speed this up a bit by using the Bypass function on the map, removing the looting section and giving you resources (or so I hear in the official discord!)
about energy. i don't know if snow and desert will have ore spawn every where or not but if you want you can pick up ore that laying around on the ground and demolise it into energy. when you pick it up you get 1 material and burn them into energy net you 1 per ore.
Only thing that miffed me was the ammo gauge and 1 number not being one bullet but if thats gripes in my book its not that big of a deal. I just keep 2-3 tins and deal with the issue im currently building a battery of 30mm as thats what i lastly unlocked and i cant wait to see whats next
Great video. Im excited to see how much this game can grow its alot of different things put together but they made it work. Glad the devs are so quick with updates. Im excited for battleship cannons didnt onow they had nukes though
Nice tips. Did not know you could carry items in my hands, that will help. I would love some more exfil tips, as it seems like they are going to really ramp up in difficulty here, and I don't want to lose an hours worth of play time because I lost the final exfil -_-
Hi, nice video! I've been playing this recently and I've been wondering about the snow operation, is there a place to use the keycard on the final extraction? In the woodland mission extraction you had the small house full of resources that needed a keycard. Well, in the snow mission in the tower I've found a keycard behind the terminal window at the very top each time and I can't help but wonder why it's there if you can't use it (Since it gets removed when you get to base)? Also, is there a documented Operator list anywhere to your knowledge?
Currently I'm not aware of a loot room to use a key card on in the snow extract, just those 2 great places for loot in the tower to the left on the hill and the house at the bottom of the hill on the right. The key card is still worth keeping though if it spawns as they patched it so keycards stay with you now on extract As for operators, I'm currently working on that vid for the next day or so, but yes some combinations are better than others. As for the best, it's more just keeping an eye out for certain nodes. Mammoth squad for example has electro missiles and a node for reducing the ability cooldown on kill with rockets, meaning the spam can get crazy! To me, that's top tier right now, but Hare has some nice damage reduction nodes and Tiger can spam high damage XENs like nobody's business
Silly question. What gun were you using? It looked like a shot gun but had explosive ammo. I haven't seen that and I was maybe going to keep an eye out.
No silly questions here! Was it the spread out shots that then homed in? If so that's Splitter, a VERY strong XEN to use as an alt shot every now and then. Perfect for mob clears and is affected by barrels, allowing you to use the double or triple barrel to affect the initial shots before split. Pair with the booster that triggers another cast and it's rockets galore!
All good, so depending on the operatives you're after, as you have a roster to manage and those 2 local ones you get given it'll be one of the 2 below: - recruitment beacons can be found or bought from the shop if you're lucky to find them, using these in the Barracks gives you a new member of the team - you'll need to increase your local operative count through research, to then go in the Intelligence Centre and their section to buy another with the + symbol Hope one of those is what you're after
Locals I have read, u have some tab or something u can select on player selection for tour. After running with that char they get hired after u win a tour using them
i genuinely have no clue why they would structure the ammunition system this way giving a 180 round magazine size then having each shot cost 15 or whatever ammunition makes zero sense and is super confusing
Full disclosure: absolutely nothing apart from a free key for the game Game did come out in a less than ideal state, but seeing as they've deployed a patch each day since launch AND have listened to the feedback by the community, I'm sure they'll have it up and running soon. Personally not having any real issues my side, but with co-op and crashes getting fixed over time, it sounds good to me
@@SongsOfRazeYT I must say the footage in your video is completely unlike that in every other one I've seen. Everyone else was just saying how bad the game is and showing themselves using the default gun or basic assault rifle mowing down countless robot scorpions. No sign of these advanced enemies I'm seeing here. I assume they were giving up a couple of hours in. It doesn't look that bad based on this.
I started playing like 2 days ago. Been busy with dragon dogma. Both these games ate very fun. Both also ramp up slowly, which alot of 12 year Olds can't handle.
Plenty more tips where that came from!
So if you're interested in hearing more, leave a comment and let me know =)
Great quality, can't wait to see what else you got lined up
More!!

Well damn, thank you so much for the kind words 🥹 made my day reading this!

Thanks for the tips! Did you know that comm stations are timed? Once they hit zero, there is an energy cost to use them.
That is what the timer is for. I thought it was an increase chance to summon the dogs, thanks for that tip
Great guide, looking forward to grabbing the game later in the week! 🙏
Thanks so much! Hope you enjoy it as much as I am! 😁
If you need 5 more power to do something (like open a door) harvest a huge wreak and it gives 300 mats and you can 30 (harvesting it only takes 25)
Little out of date with all the updates in the last 7 days but very informative respect
Yeah typical that the devs are that quick to update the game! It's great, but bad for me haha!
Would love to see a video on insurance mechanics and on how to use operatives on missions and in general

Great video! Maybe you could make a video about where to farm specific resources? Loving the game so far. Don't understand all the hate.
Appreciate the comment ❤️ thank you!
As for mats, sure I can keep an eye out for specific locations. Is there a certain material you're after?

For the resource bit with exfil.... ooorrr be my friend and just break the interger limit for them so you do whatever you want
That was awesome thank you!

The operators should be randomly generated. Far as I understand each one has random traits
@@JappaChow Yeah, I'm curious if there's a list that shows which are the best combinations/traits

100% got a lot of ideas in the works, just a fair few scripts to write 😅 but they are on the way!
hey not many places to get in game info could you please tell me howw to hire local operatives
