We have an orange and white Cooper S, went for the hard top as preferred to the Convertible. We had the 1.5 Cooper last time and the S is only about 2 - 3 Mpg worse but is so much more refined being 4 cylinder.

Worked out with my Picanto I have £2k of extra kit over a 1.0 2 spec and the turbo which adds 34 bhp. Dread to think how much in extras could add to a Mini. Base spec Mini Electric would do me secondhand one day.
