- We are taking the 2019 Mini Cooper S Cabriolet for a quick ride along a beautiful Swiss lake. I was never a huge fan of the Mini Coopers. I thought they are cute, but can this Mini Cooper S convertible change my mind? Can you fall in love with the Cooper S? Well, come with me to find out!

I drive with the top down in the rain all the time. As long as you move, it stays dry inside. It's just rain.
Great idea to do the enthusiast/skeptic format, perfect to bring out the best of the Mini.
A fresh air for introduction of this new model Mini Cooper S Cabrio model by two ladies, like the sound of engine roaring in that winding road, beautiful mountain view back drop, interesting and engaging dialogs, yes everyone's ego need some brushing not crushing after all...

When the first Mini Convertible came out (2004?) I test drove one at the dealership. As you said with this 2019 model the interior styling & details were great but the ride was extremely harsh, so little has changed in all those years! *ALL of our egos* could use *_"brushing not crushing,"_* don't you think? As long as it's sincere, anyway. BTW a little maturity is a great thing for a woman to have. More experience usually means a better understanding of other people we meet, and thus *more empathy towards them.* The quality we call kindness.

Thanks Anna for a good video, it just be a little bad sound in the beginning. Nice color on the Mini, as well as nice decor. But it is too big to be called Mini. I have been running an original Mini from the late 60's I think it was from and it is small.

I actually find I can drive my cabriolet with the roof down in the rain and not get wet, but only if I don’t go below 100kph (wind deflects the water)...bit challenging in town 🤔

Somehow, I managed to miss this one back in 2019 B.C. (Before COVID.) Go figure. It's always a very nice treat when Magdalena appears and co-stars with you and whatever you are driving. I tell you Anna, the needle on my Adorableness Meter was pegged completely and then it just broke clean off while watching this video. : p
I would not buy a Mini that looks like this one but I would take JCW hardtop in a heartbeat!
Anna dear, why haven't you reviewed the Maserati GranTurismo, I'd love to see you and Magdalena and perhaps some back seat passengers take it on a tour. And I challenge you to deeply examine all of this great cars attributes.

I always wanted to buy a Mini Cooper since 1987 whe nI was stationed in Germany but never did, now years later Mini Cooper has change a lot and looks so great oi drive. Next year after I retire from the USPS i still thinking of buying a 2014 Mini Cooper her in NYC,; any advice you can give is much appreciated.

The proper mini is. This German wannabe, not so much.
My wife just hates minis , not sure why , whenever I mention them she says Noooooo. I like them , they are fast and nice inside, but they always driven by young women, whereas the fiesta ST is not, weird really. Either car is fun for the money.
Very good point Tz 6, I was never a fan of Minis and still not convinced. I loved to drive it for a week but I'd go for Fiesta ST!

I think you are being too hard on the Mini when you say "its fidgety and you have to pay a lot of attention when driving it". 4:40. This is simply not true at all. The Mini is firmly planted to the road and handles with precision. there is absolutely no need to pay "extra attention" when driving it as it drives extremely well. I see young and old Mini drivers on the roads every single day and nobody is having any difficulty driving them.
