So this sweater is super easy to make, you can use any stitch you want to make it. Stay tuned for the written pattern release in a week or so. I'm so excited to release my 1st written pattern OMG !!! UPDATE i suggest that you go up 1 or 2 hook sizes for the sleeves so you won't have to increase, hopefully it works for you.

Adorable sweater! Cute pattern! Thanks for the pattern in different sizes. So many designers give you one size free & then charge for other sizes. I understand that they have to make a living, but I’m on disability & cant afford patterns right now😀

Love this, works up fast...I used Amanda Love Santos' ribbed band she did in her "DIY Crochet Cropped Top/Strapless Tube Top tutorial (which I made too) cause I needed some stretch...too lazy to do separate sleeves, just did hdc around the armhole then did the pattern until I got to my elbow...

@@NaturallyDanielle thank you so much! I actually struggle already at the first row of the body part, so the first row of the pattern. Got 45 stitches of hdc, but I don't end up with 3 stitches left, but 2, so I can only skip 1 stitch! What am I doing wrong?? Thanks for your help!

If you ever decide to use stitch markers, paperclips are super cheap, have a higher pack count and come in multiple colors, too.
I've also learned that if you go down in hook sizes, you don't have to decrease stitches sine the decrease in stitch sizes with the hook does it for you.
I know that you increased on the 2 rows but how many rows did you do the repeat pattern on the sleeve?

Hello, the pattern is very pretty. I am wondering, how do I enlarge only the bust but not the rib cage. I have a 12 inch difference between my bust and rib cage. I do not need the back enlarged, only the front.

I would either increase the waist and add a draw string to it or in crease the bust area in the front of the top... I’m still working on getting the kinks out of this pattern sorry for the inconvenience. I hope it works out for you.
I have a very small body frame. Would I need to add a drawstring at the bottom for it to fit better or should I just not make as many rows at the bottom?
you could use a smaller hook for the whole sweater or just a smaller hook for the ribbing at the bottom... i originally used a 4.5 mm hook and it was way smaller than this one, i hope that helps .

I am on the neck line how many do I do for the large size I folded in half twice and I got 4 going across
Hi , i can't answer that for you because idk what you foundation chain number was. But i can say that as long as you have the body portion correct , when you fold the top in half twice the number you get should be the right size. But you can also add stitches if you need more room.

I am not sure how to do the sleeves?
It was really hard for me to increase the sleeves and keep the shape i wanted so i used different hook sizes to increase the sleeves in this video

Any suggestions on how to make size L or XL?
try using a 5.5 mm hook and chain in multiples of 3 so for the body portion of a large do 51(XL-57) rows and for the sleeve start at the top of the sleeve and chain 48(XL-54) , do 6 rows and decrease one stitch on both ends repeat this for however many rows you need to fit your arm ...i'm currently rewriting this pattern so i hope you can understand what i've said and it works for you...
*I meant to say decrease every 12 rows for the sleeves until you get the length that you want , if you don't want a fitted sleeve then you don't have to decrease at all.
what size hook for the med size
whatever size you want to use just know your stitch gauge... i used a 5 or 6 mm hook

you should have about 14 sts going across you shoulder part ...divide 57 by 2 = 28.5 then divide 28 by 2 again =14

My small looks like a small for a little girl, not a woman. Had to go up 2 sizes and make a large, but I wear a small in womans.
I'm sorry about that... i originally made the pattern using a smaller hook and different yarn so that might be the issue... I'm XS-SM in tops and mine turned out bigger than it should have and i used a 5.5 mm I hook ...so basically sometimes you have to play around with hook sizes and stitch gauges ...But i'm glad you eventually got your right size.
