Who is here after hearing about Naya's passing? This breaks my heart! She was one of the few characters I really liked as her character developed more with each season.
What is truly tragic is that it wasn't just her...Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Naya Rivera and Robin Trockie ALL died either during (Monteith) or after they stopped filming Glee. It's also worth noting that they not only lost the above 4 cast members, but also lost members of the film crew/production team.

Amber Riley also just had a supporting role in Nobody’s Fool that was released less than a month ago. She also was the first black woman to win Dancing With The Stars.
Im just stuck on the fact they American Idol rejected her? How do they reject someone who has that kind of voice? It makes me think that it was because they thought she wasn't sexy. Kind of the same reason why they were so hard on Susan Boyle.

Guys, you can have an amazing voice and yet not be ready for a competition. Singing is like any other talent, it needs practice not just nature
@@bettersecret1499 but these shows are supposed to help the untrained to become trained. They get vocal training and techniques. They are supposed to teach them, you don't go to a show like these with being trained for years and years.... Or at least that's what I think.

Damian actually rejoined Celtic Thunder. He was a member of the group before he left for the glee project. :)

@@maddiee96 I wish I could see them in concert, but the last time they came to PA (they were legit only 20-30 mins from my house) was for their Christmas show last year, and the tickets were too expensive. I wish more teenagers liked them, their music is AWESOME! (and they look pretty nice too...)

Melissa Benoist (Marley) became super girl, Grant Gustin (Sebastian) became the flash and Darren Criss (Blaine) became a killer and that’s what you missed on glee
Nah Darren should be number 1 - he won an Emmy, starred on Broadway, and has continued to write music. The only time I’ve heard of Lea since Glee is when she’s decided to tour with Darren 🤷🏻♀️

@@bettersecret1499 No, it doesn't! If he is top 10 then so is Terry. He is an honorable mention because he character did help push Lea's character in a certain direction but that's it. Does not deserve top ten. Maybe someone with more of a back story on the deserved a spot.

Grant wasn’t really on the show except for like a few episode out of 6 seasons.
Jon has been on glee since season 1 then became recurring throughout the series.
Raquel Lopez well Jonathan has gone into more things than Grant or at least more famous things than Grant. For example Grant is only known as The Flash whereas Jonathan has Frozen, Hamilton, and Mindhunter.
mzdramgeek I know but he was never in the main cast, so they should’ve included Grant as well, even if just for a few episodes, Glee was the first mainstream thing he was on (at least that’s where I first saw him)
I always felt bad for Mercedes cus she was the best talent but Rachael was always shoved down our throats all the time
Sooo annoying.
Mercedes got the second most song before Santana and Darren took over that roll. They actually pushed her to he side more than Rachel who was the lead female. But that was really part if Mercedes story she needed to be pushed and that is what helped her succeed. In the end she was probably the most successful glee kid.

I just looked it up. I remember that now. Those two were the worst. It was horrifying but satisfying when Kathy Bates character killed them. I didn't recognize him but I vaguely remember thinking they both looked familiar.
Although they didn't mention a few other people, it makes me so happy to see everyone from this show, for the most part, being so successful outside of glee. Like I never even realized Mathew was Jo's abusive husband in Grey's. Harry was Magnus in Shadow hunters and so on and so on. I just love them all so much, it's nice to see them still goin strong

Agree with this list apart from the fact that Lea should be below Darren, Chris & Harry and that Grant should've been included.
BroadwayBaby grant was in like four episodes, he doesn’t belong on this list, especially if Jenna isn’t in it. Hardly anyone knows who Chris colfer, this isn’t 2011. I highkey agree Darren and Darren alone as main cast member has had more success than Lea, but Lea was the star of the show. Lea has had two best selling books, 2 successful albums, 2 tours, and 2 tv shows since glee among so much more shit, Harry and Chris don’t even belong right behind her, especially not Chris. Whatta joke.
@@cuetherain3699 I thought about Grant not being a main cast member as well at first, but neither was JGroff and he's on it. Why would they include him at say, the expanse of Jenna, Chord or Becca? And while you could view this list as a popularity ranking, I don't think it's about who's best known but about who's had the biggest achievements. Just because Chris isn't working on television as much anymore it doesn't mean that what he's doing isn't popular or important. I'm pretty sure every single installment of tlos has been on the new york times best-seller list. (+ Stranger Than Fanfiction) A lot of kids get to know him through his writing nowadays and love his stories. That's important as well. Lea did play the main character on the show, but that's no reason to put her at #1. While I do love the music she's been putting out, the shows she's been on have both been cancelled after 1 & 2 seasons, respectively. Do keep in mind that she put some of the stuff you mentioned out while she was still on glee, while this list talks about post-glee stuff. Harry's playing an important & very popular character on tv right now and will do even better when the sequel to crazy rich asians comes out. That's ESPECIALLY notable considering he never really got the chance to shine while being on glee and a lot of people didn't even believe in him to make something of himself after the show ends.

That’s not a debate. 2) Jenna has had more success that chord and Becca and even won a tony this year. 3)this is a “where are the top stars now” which is ENTIRELY about popularity. 4) Harry was popular for one thing and future projects don’t rank him higher, his 1 character is popular, that’s all he’s done, his cameo on CRA lasted 10 seconds but as much as I love him, he doesn’t belong anywhere near number 1 5) Chris Colfer has barely worked in ANY department In COMPARISON since glee. It’s been over for YEARS. Chris is mediocrely successful and by other standards he’s doing great, but not in comparison to Darren or lea. 6) half the things mentioned on this video for these people happened WHILE glee was still airing. Jenna, Jon, Matthew, AND Amber have had more success than Chris by any measurement, for your information I have the majority of Chris’ books and I’m in school for journalism so I take writing very seriously, but just because Chris is writing doesn’t seem him (more) successful. And as I said, Harry has done one significant show, so far.
Harry also won a People's Choice Award for The Male TV Star of 2018. :)
Jonathan Groff also played the leading part in HBOs "Looking" (Series and Movie) which was wonderful!!!

hahahahahaha!!! I think they kind of balanced between the main cast of the glee and the cast who are successfully running now. (running...hehehe, get it?). I was honestly surprised when Mel was mentioned. I love her, but she was in one and half seasons, so I thought they wouldn't mention her. Guess they counted her career, eh? As for grant, well he is successful and famous now, but he was barely there in glee and when he was there, he was a meanie. Lea, on the other hand, I don't know where she is r8 now (I didn't watch the full video yet, came str8 down to the comment section), but she was a lead character of glee, so... they, kind of, have to mention her. At the top. Like, mandatory.

One thing the Lea and Darren tour is still happening also why was Grant left out of this? Yea he had not nearly as big of a role but he was still a fairly important character in Season 3 and he has been super successful in landing the role as Barry Allen aka THE FLASH
