LMandthings no, please do not put it all on cory. part of why he died is biochemistry. he was clean, and then relapsed. that’s different that steady using. and the thing about addictions or things of the sort is no matter how hard they are for a significant other or friend, they’re way harder for the person addicted. i just think it’s cruel to keep rehashing it with a woman who has clearly moved on and deserves respect. it really pisses me off the way people still tag her in it. it’s reductive regarding the tragedy of it, and i think it’s unfair to lea to claim they’re “meant to be” or “couple goals” when simply put, they’re not and that part of her life is over. i also think it reduces cory to simply lea’s “tragic lost love” when he was a person

But the truth is he was clean and started using again why he went to rehab before he relapsed and probably dying becasue he use what he had in the past and did not have the same tolerance. I was speaking of how hard that time was for Lea yet people act like their relationship was all rainbows and puppies. That is why they nee dot stop bringing it up becasue as you said she does not need it to be rehashed believe it was hard on her too. I think they are thinking more themselves and Cory though when they comment on her SM they seem to want her to be in charge of keeping his memory alive for them and that is not fair to her.

Yep, I had the honor of singing and sharing a stage with Darren (“From Broadway with Love”, a benefit for Orlando, follow The Pulse tragedy). He and his fiancé are amazing. In the after party after our show I got to talk to her privately. She was very sweet, and Darren was always a gem on stage, off stage, and behind the scenes. Professional, funny and kind.
Watching this in 2020 after the death of Naya (RIP) is just heartbreaking. 2:09
