Okay but can we all understand how unappreciated Brad is? He was there for EVERY SINGLE GLEE EPISODE and yet he only got a few lines and was known as the piano player with a foot fetish (in the sixth season) Not to mention how Brad always knew what song to play (along with the band) when someone said "hit it" or just nodded to them. Come on Glee you couldn't have made at least one episode dedicated to Brad or the band members? Like that one blond hair guy that was always vibing to the songs

When he suspended Marley for not wanting to be half naked on stage. Mind you, Rachel sent a new glee member to a crackhouse and she barely got a slap on the wrist.
Edit: Being forced to apologize is not punishment. She could have sent Sunshine to any where else, but she sent her so somewhere that dangerous. Making her apologize is in no way a punishment cuz in the end she still got away with it unscathed when she shouldn't have. And that's just one example of the shit she got away with.
Cause Rachel was a huge bitch, but so is Leah Michele which is why she was good at playing the character. It wasn't an episode without Rachel getting a solo, and when Rachel didn't get a solo she threw a fit and then got a solo ANYWAY! Basically rewarding her bad behavior. Fucking hated her horrible person and honestly Leah Michele seems like a terrible person too. She's a big reason why I stopped watching after season 4

And Becky Jackson brought a gun to school, fired it twice and somehow only got suspended, not expelled. Yeah, in the 21st century, in America, that’s BS. Her ass is so gone.

I must mention two things. First, it's not that the old members are better than the new ones, it's that the writers refused to make the new ones shine. Second, THE OTHER CHARACTERS NOT GETTING MORE SOLOS SHOULD 10000% BE NUMBER 1
I think the writers were trying too hard to make the new characters fit the old ones. They were looking for a new Rachel, kitty was basically the unholy Trinity rolled into one, Unique was a mix of Mercedes and Kurt etc;
@@allegraanegra455 definitely, like that was supposed to help us relate to them easier because they were just replacing the old ones, when instead they should have just made them brand new, with personalities and stories of their own

exactly! It's not that the old members were better, but the writing that didn't do them justice, from the moment they were introduced to the storyline they developped. Season 6 was better handled for that (I actually cared about the knew kids and wanted to see more of them), but it was so short and so rushed we all forget season 6 characters.

@@farahgaston8883 yeah the original way they were going to end the show Rachel would marry Finn and he would support her as she lived her dreams on Broadway. After Cory died though they had to scramble to come up with a new way to end the show

@@JMwhocares - Yeah, but what they told the Glee kids was that Juilliard didn’t have a musical theater or vocalist program - that they were only instrument focused - and that the Juilliard of musical theater/voice was NYADA. It’s just weird they did that.

So, I absolutely ADORE Matthew Morrison. However, I kind of hated Shue. He’s selfish, quietly homophobic, and can really be a jerk on a regular basis. He focused on his favorites and let everyone else flounder then made a surprised pikachu face every time they stood up for themselves.
I agree, Will had his good points at times but he had a ton of bad ones too. Whilst his intentions were good the delivery left a lot to be desired.

@@supershepherd he was kind of quietly homophobic. His interactions with Kurt make it obvious that he blames Kurt for being bullied. Like, if he wasn’t so obviously gay he wouldn’t have had to switch schools. Yet he also blamed Kurt for not coming forward about being bullied, even though Shue never lifted a finger to help any of the glee kids with bullying. Not even his precious favorites Finn and Rachel.
I prefer the Glee mashup of Adele’s “Rumor Has It” & “Someone Like You” to the originals.

I also disliked him for doing literally nothing when Rachel sent Sunshine Corazon to a freaking crackhouse, but he deadass suspended Marley from Glee club for not wearing a damn bikini because she wasn’t comfortable on it 🙃
I know, despite everyone praising Will for supposedly being an Amazing teacher, he's actually pretty passive when it comes to disciplining his students. He takes Spanish classes, when he actually TEACHES that subject himself, is able to get promoted to teaching History just by watching the History Channel, and plants drugs on Finn to blackmail into joining Glee Club. Even when Finn finally finds out, Will STILL doesn't get into trouble for jeopardising a minor's future.

I'm sorry but that's not how it was. How was Will denying Unique the right to use the faculty bathroom when it was literally his idea? If he didn't agree with Sue's demands to stop twerking, all that would have happened to Unique was that she wouldn't get a key of her own(why was he so adamant on letting *minors* twerk, I'll never not be uncomfortable). Will was ready to chaperone Unique for every bathroom trip. He even told her that whenever nature calls she should find him and then Will would use his keycard for her. Sue saw that and decided to use Unique's comfort as a way to stop Will from encouraging twerking

No. Mr. Shue is so much worse. Rachel is awful but the main reasons for the hatred of her character is that the writers gave her too much attention and not enough consequences. If she was treated like everyone else she would’ve been a fine character while nothing Mr. Shue ever did was appropriate and he was an adult. If she was on this list it wouldn’t be ranked above the hatred of Mr. Shue.

I have a personal love hate relationship with rachel. Someone described it in a rant so I'll try and say it. Season 1-3 she is annoying but you know that she will make it far in life. She didn't have a mom to grow up with and her dad pretty much gave her what she wanted. Yes she got most of the solos which was frustrating but she was so good. She had the drive for Broadway. Season 4 she starts to pursue her career but in season 5 I think she takes it too far. She feels threatened and starts to quit everything because she has so little confidence in her career she isn't sure what direction to go. When she hits Rock bottom with her TV show in Season 6 that is when

Matthew Morrison terrifies me
One thing that I always found funny about Glee was how they'd be heading off to some grand competition with no clue about what they were going to be singing. They'd have a last-minute inspiration and choose their songs, rehearse them, choreograph them and get their costumes ready within a day or two - and perfectly perform it all! I know this was done for the drama of the show. I'm sure real Glee club would spend months doing all this!

I will admit that I prefer Glee covers over the originals, especially 'Shake It Out'. Glee's version is just perfect.

Tina was straight up psycho. First the stutter to be left alone, then complaining like ALL the time, the bitter old maids club or whatever it was, whining about not having a prom date and then ditching sam after the pity prom queen nomination, and then the whole hits her head takes over Rachel's life episode was insane. She was just ... the worst
@@randilennon8486 she rarely complained, the weird dream where she was rachel doesn't make her a psycho at all, it was just a way to make her see how "hard" rachel's life was, whining about not having a prom date doesn't make you a psycho, ditching your prom date might be shitty but again, it doesn't make you a psycho, and i have no idea what the maids club is. the only really bad things I remember her doing is faking the stutter, sexually harassing blaine while he was unconscious and pushing artie out of the wheelchair, and even with all those there are a lot of characters who've done worse (which is pretty concerning). honestly if we only consider the first three seasons she was relatively awesome

When I started the Flash, I completely forgot Grant was in Glee. Then in this episode from season 1 when he sings a bit, everybody talked about and my mind was like : "how? What? When?" I completely forgot Sebastian lol.

I'm the biggest fan of the show but It's honestly so useless to watch it after s3. The writers screwed up the characters and relationships they've built (except maybe brittana) and the new characters they brought, as MsMojo says, will always come second.
Glee and its music are my biggest guilty pleasures. It’s so bad, but so good, and was a big part of my formative years. It’s both painful and amazing going back to rewatch it years later. RIP Cory and Naya.

How about how every season they were always so worried they wouldn’t have enough members to compete, but some how at competitions had more than enough.
I see I'm not the only one who notice that. It's even worse when they had two choirs in season 3. At least we could say "they did that for aesthetics" usually, but can someone explain to me how the second choir find enough people to compete when no one wants to be part of the Glee club?
As someone who is watching glee and masked singer at the same time, anyone I watch it with probably gets annoyed when I say stuff like "That was on glee", or "insert glee character sang that better."

If you like Darren Criss as Blaine, you will defo like him as Harry Potter in A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, and A Very Potter Senior Year
And then he’ll break your heart and give you the chills in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. He plays a serial killer. But he was mesmerizing.
Blaine was only good in season 2/3. He was a whiny, annoying overused character in seasons 4-6. He had no character development and sang WAY to much.

@Caleb Mayfield even after that, she was never appreciated by her other glee club members and it's Schuester's fault for always choosing Rachel and her being constantly pushed to the side. It definitely did get better with time I'm just saying that she could've had even more potential then she already did

"Everybody loves Blaine" oh yes!! I started loving blaine from his very first appearance on season 2 episode 6 when he sang teenage dream. After that i also started search about who he really was. Oh god! Darren Criss, ilove darren so much. 💗
I wish Ryan Murphy put as much effort into other characters like he did Blaine

When Don't Stop started playing, I just started crying
All of these made me smile. They are soooooo true. Some of my friends are watching Glee (because I recommended it to them. over and over and over) and I definitely tell them all I find weird or bad about glee. But like the video said, none of those will EVER make me stop loving the show!

Yes alot of the characters were never given enough solos. That was the fault of the creators and writers and most likely Lea Michele. Very unfortunate.

I saw Matthew Morrison on Broadway in 2 shows and he was fantastic!!!! I saw him with Brad the piano player too. They were really funny together ❤️

Darren chris did a great job playing a charismatic villain, bit not one that you immediately hate.
Yes, the sings are cheesy, but it gave fun broadway vibes especially to fans of the Rent film and victor garber.
“I’ll be there on a flash” is a favorite lyric that i will have stick in my head.
Also, melissa benoist’s version of moon river will always be one of my favorites.
While no show does the 20’s right, at least kid’s/teens shows, but they kept it it cute, dramatic, and fun.
The fact that i only saw this episode once, but remember this much says something.

As a glee super fan, it’s honestly like a slap in the face when somebody says “why is don’t stop believin so important in the show” because of 1. By how much I loved it by the original glee cast but mainly 2. Because it’s a nice memory of Finn

I can't believe no one mentioned the Blaine is on the bottom joke. It's definitely the funniest joke on glee And every fan thinks about it every time Blaine and Kurt have any scene together
Actually it’s a very hated and harmful joke, especially to Instagram gleeks.
Blaine, and Sam as well, were definitely great additions... when you rewatch season 1 there is definitely a noteable lack of them, as well as less Santana, Britney and Mike...
I also had a huge love for the band, they were just always there and I wish we could have had an episode following them and showing everything from their prospective.
I also love how us fans can pick so hard at it but still love it and Sam was definitely one of my favs but I definitely don't love that he is basically the center of the relationship web (linking to even Tina whom he kissed and Blaine if you count crushes) because he was such a good guy and yet he ended up coming off as a bit of a player if you didnt watch all the time.
