Love everything, but the “black” line through the wider and busier area. It draws my eye every time and takes my attention from the other interesting bits (and the totality) of this beautiful piece. I love the neutral colors that are very geological!
Just incredible!! So cool!! Thanks Fiona. Now............................ can you do one with a black background/ribbon pour/subtle? Lol! Ive got my mind on something but I just dont have the supplies for a trial run.
It took me lots of practice. Learning how to get the paint to move in a way that will give you the desired outcome. I think I could still improve, though 😉
Hi Fiona, your pieces always look great. Maybe flop the colors on like when your planting seeds from a cup on the lawn…i know it sounds weird but you would defintely get more distinct intentional colour. I love your channel - your voice has a calming confident effect. ❤
Hi Fiona love this piece ❤️ ❤️ I was just wondering what U use in Ur swipe mix .. I bought new batch of floetrol yesterday but I think I got my ratios wrong 😢 I was hoping you'd be able to help x
@fionascreativecanvas I was doing 2 Aus Floetrol to I x paint .. I have bought new titanium white now I'm going to try reeves artist quality with the 3 to 1ratio now U av said that and see how it goes ..thanks for the tip 😁
Hello Fiona, loving your work. I am wondering what the white product is that you are pouring onto the inverted palet knife to then swipe for the lacing. Is it just paint or something funky. Thank you, regards, Glen
Hi Fiona. I discovered your channel a few months ago. I look forward to the notification that you have put a new video out. I hope this isn't a strange question 😂. If my colors go over a corner, and leave the corner unpainted, I really struggle to make it look part of the painting. I was hoping you may be able to show how you fix up your corner colors after tilting? Love your channel and all the inspiration you share!
Thank you 😊 I often look for a colour that has dripped off that will match my corner, then try to carefully drip it down. With this one, I left one of the corners unpainted and will go in with a paint brush after and paint it white. With all the white negative space, it will fit right 8n 😉
Number 3 position, and i do think the dark you added makes it stand out more and adds a bit of drama, also i think varnish as after a few years resin apparently goes a yellow.
...hard to say how to place - I think the person who will buy it has to decide & it depends also how the wall is - enough room that the paint can pop up....for my opinion. Also I would do a glos vanish. Would be nice to see what the final result is.
My dear thankyou gor sharing your work. Im in Australia NSW I would love to know if you have classes here and if so can you let me know. We have a lady teach painting but you got to get drunk inorder to paint lol id forget the lesson. I wanted also to knowwhat is mixd with the paint, water or thining agent to embed cells in your work. Let me know if you have face to face classes. ❤🎉
Hello Helane, I'm sorry I don't have any classes. I still feel very new to art which 8s why I'm experimenting so much. I'm also located in Perth, so it would be quite a road trip for you 😆 this video ruclips.net/video/hwHKHsvFqec/видео.html will show you how I mix my paints for the swipe technique. Hope it helps.
There were a few moments I would have left things as they were, you tend to overwork it quite a lot, the final result is beautiful though and I loved the dark parts it adds depth.
Unfortunately, there was a bit too much paint still on the canvas as well. It would have cracked. I am planning to have another go at it sometime this week 😉
Experiments with you gives me confidence. No mistakes, just enjoying the process ❤
I'm so glad! I love the freedom of experimentation 😉
It looks like a slice of quartz. Beautiful.
😃 Thank you 😊
I love this: especially where your swipes were more on the base colour than the poured colours, such a gorgeous effect. 😃
I like the third way best!
Thank you, Caroline. 😊 Subtle lacing is nice 😉
I love it it looks like a marble countertop absolutely gorgeous.

Fiona I love the composition! I like the horizontal look of it. Love how it dried a warm gray brown tone too. ❤
Thank you so much, Garrick 😊. Yes, I'm leaning towards the horizontal, too. Thanks for checking in 😃
It's lovely 😍 Reminds me of patterns in the sand when the sea has receded, plus pebbles !
Oh yes! Pebbles 😊 Thank you, Janice!

Thank you 😊
Surprenant et magnifique, bravo 🎉🎉🎉❤
Thank you 😊
Beautiful. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
I wish I could tilt the paint like you! It’s such an important part.
It took me lots of practice. Learning how to get the paint to move in a way that will give you the desired outcome. I think I could still improve, though 😉
You should be proud. Amazing effects and I like the colors. J
Thank you so much! 😊
Beautiful 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😊
I think it’s beautiful
Thank you 😊
Bonjour, il est superbe, mes 2 préférés pour la position du tableau, c'est la 3 et la 4 😅 👏👏👍🥰🥰
Thank you 😊
C'est magnifique
Thank you 😊
Très beau.....je préfère la 3ieme proposition qui selon mon regard, je vois une route qui s'achève au bout 😊....j'aime❤!
Thank you 😊
Love it 😍 a splash of red may have worked instead of the warm grays. But still, very beautiful 😍 Gloss finish to add some shine ✨
Black, red and white would be lovely 😍
Цікава абстракція вийшла! ❤❤❤
😊
It looks very nice and i would hang it like"second"😊
😊
If you didn’t want to have the little brown circles, what would you have to do to not have them?
Looks like ripples in the sand on one end
Tricky but beautiful.
😆 Yeah, I learnt a lot from this one 😉

Thank you, I might give that a try 😉
Ben çok beğendim👍👍♥️
😊
The pattern is nice for a table top marble effect.
😊
Lovely movement came out of something I didn’t initially think would travel much; think a semi gloss would be good… Txz jeanne
Thank you, Jeanne 😊
Hi Fiona love this piece ❤️ ❤️ I was just wondering what U use in Ur swipe mix .. I bought new batch of floetrol yesterday but I think I got my ratios wrong 😢 I was hoping you'd be able to help x
Is it Australian Floetrol? Which paint are you using? My ratio is 1 paint to 3 Floetrol for the swipe mix.
@fionascreativecanvas I was doing 2 Aus Floetrol to I x paint .. I have bought new titanium white now I'm going to try reeves artist quality with the 3 to 1ratio now U av said that and see how it goes ..thanks for the tip 😁
Perhaps next time make more, thinner ribbons. I like the colors
That's just what I did. Then they may have been too thin 😆
👏👏👏👌
Hello Fiona, loving your work. I am wondering what the white product is that you are pouring onto the inverted palet knife to then swipe for the lacing. Is it just paint or something funky. Thank you, regards, Glen
Hi Glen, it's something funky 😉 It's one part Titanium White to 3 parts Australian Floetrol.
Love the third view
😊

@@fionascreativecanvas thank you Fiona. I guess I need more practice ☺. I will try again.
Number 3 position, and i do think the dark you added makes it stand out more and adds a bit of drama, also i think varnish as after a few years resin apparently goes a yellow.
Thank you 😊 Yes resin will yellow a little over time. Some are worse than others. Some varnishes can also yellow, but I think it takes much longer. 😉
...hard to say how to place - I think the person who will buy it has to decide & it depends also how the wall is - enough room that the paint can pop up....for my opinion.
Also I would do a glos vanish.
Would be nice to see what the final result is.
Thank you, Caroline 😊 I think I'll do a gloss Varnish 😉 Maybe I could post it in the community tab when it's done 🤔

👏👏👏👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️
😊
What do you add to the back of the pallet knife?
A mixture of Amsterdam Titanium White and Australian Floetrol 😉
I love this! It looks like expensive marble, such as you might find in an upscale hotel bathroom.
I think it would look gorgeous with some varnish!
It does! Thank you, I will definitely coat it in varnish 😊
There were a few moments I would have left things as they were, you tend to overwork it quite a lot, the final result is beautiful though and I loved the dark parts it adds depth.

What is your recipe for your swip mixture! I am trying to learn this technique, but having some problems finding out how to mix the paint!
1 part Amsterdam Titanium White mixed with 3 parts Australian Floetrol 😉
@@fionascreativecanvas thank you so much! I love your work!
Gloss varnish
Sounds good 😀
