If you put some crush n run down as a base it will help to keep it solid. Then put your 57 stone or w.e. to top dress it. Good thing about buying it in a dump truck is that if you get a decent driver he'll chain the gate and spread it as he's dumping. Eliminate the rental cost and save time.
Leave an inch or so of gravel on the ground. Then scraping up the last inch at the end and put it in a different pile. When you go to spread it out put that contaminated pile down first and cover it with the clean stuff. Just a friendly tip.
U should have demoed that drive way also and pour a new one it can't handle all that traffic. I would have concreted the whole thing. Would cost you upfront but would make the property look 1000% better. If u do pour a new driveway you can ask for a stronger psi concrete from where you buy it from . Best of luck!
When putting in gravel for a driveway/sce go in straight even lines when leveling and putting down material. Saves having to keep going back and fixing spots and all that
Hey Nick question..??okay where you put your gravel have you thought about pouring concrete or expanding your driveway that will look awesome..!!!! 😁😎 2018 project........
Prep the area, back the trailer in full of gravel , lift the trailer and spread slowly as u drive out...1st layer bigger rock, repeat with a chips n dust finish layer......you should have gotten the gravel last would have saved you from moving it around...
looks like you didn't have the parking brake on before starting it or it wasn't in neutral some machines are like that I did that on a standard when I got to ahead if myself and forgot about putting the brake on
If ya think about it. A yard of that gravel weighs about 1.4 tons. The muddy soil you have it loaded. Noise heavy and weighs about 1.6 to 1.8 tons per yard. It is heavy. If it was dry. You be looking at about 1.2 tons per yard. Your trailer is about an 8 yard trailer when it's loaded to the top of the sidewalls. We look at everything by yards not tons here.
That driveway looks so much better now I'm glad you got it fixed and that livestream was killer man I enjoyed that I was just too damn tired had to leave early see you guys on the next one ninja Mike out
Good Job my Ninja brother looks good at least now you don't have soup like most of us do. Looks great and ad always enjoy your videos so please keep them coming there appreciated thanks Rocco
Francisco Perez ..i agree road base is cheaper and packs better.. then come back and spread clean washed rock on top that way it won't sink down in dirt
I like your channel a lot. But damn that was hard to watch Nick. You guys need some practice on a skid steer lol. And why did you dump the stone there if you were just gunna move it again. Work smart. Move something once. Not twice.
I'm getting ready to do the same at my house after tearing up all the grass by my garage during last season pulling trucks, trailers, equipment, etc around it all year.

putting in a drainiage system and or drain tile would help drain the excess water

I’m surprised pizza didn’t get that thing stuck.
Why not put down some type of tarping or fabric to separate the soil from the gravel? Wouldn’t that help soil from seeping through.
Happy to see that problem is fixed! Great hustle today guys.
No fabric=POOR roadway! Also, Where did you guys learn to operate equipment, looks like the very first day on the job!

Looking nice can't wait to see finished product
All he had to do was use the front edge of the bucket back drag it away from neighbors yard and scoop it up.
Was great taking live with yall....pizza make sure your phone is charged next time. But it was fun!!
DEF tank or line is plugged a guy on RUclips The Farming Life had a similar problem with his New Holland Skidsteer
Nice job, looks good. Only thing I may have done was add a layer of geotextile to keep your gravel from settling into the soil.
agroboy mark yep me to

Tip when spreading gravel... Dump and back up at same time in a slow manor to control even flow and depth of gravel
Looked like a lot of fun! Looks great!

Remember it should be a 60/40 split. 60% on the trailer 40% truck.
Pizza next time you open a video say what's up guys Pizza from Spencer's Lawn Care here lol
Good Job my Ninja brother looks good at least now you don't have soup like most of us do. Looks great and ad always enjoy your videos so please keep them coming there appreciated thanks Rocco
Needs a drainage culvert, some fabric and CR6 stone
That will still be a rocky muddy mess. Should just bite bullet and co high strength concrete.
Good job scrapping the mud off before spreading the gravel. Def. The best way to do it.
lol drivers skill at 5:25 matches music at 5:35. Owner of NH L35 since 1973
🤣🤣🤙🏻
Lmao I was thinking "wtf is wrong with this man" right before you did
1 ton will cover 100 sq ft at 2 inch depth. This way you know what you need
Why not road base Nick ?? Either way it looks nice with gravel.
Francisco Perez ..i agree road base is cheaper and packs better.. then come back and spread clean washed rock on top that way it won't sink down in dirt
Going along with the bobcat thing, I mean people always say q-tip even though it isn’t necessarily q-tip brand
good job Nick.. work smarter but not harder.
Was that Pizza or Brittany Spears at 3:35 with that headset?
Great video man!!!!
Hard working man
That's more my pace running bobcats do more landscaping related things it's hard work and long hours but it's fun
PIZZA needs bit of work on NEW HOLLAND..lol..looks good though fellas
So I randomly decided to check the bucket that came on it and it's a lil bigger than that one
First time with a skid loader nick? 5:23 lol
Yo why does pizza have the same body build as the grinch lol
Buttttt nick u should have scrapped it all off first save time ,👍
Man you guys look tired. A good long work day. Get some rest my friends. I've had a long day myself. 😊👍
Very nice just a good power wash and it'll be great 🙂
Is this a new venture
But nickkk u didn't use the right gravel and there's no drainage culvert nickkk
should have used a steel rake and pushed the small pile into the bucket lol
Lol I literally shovel rock everyday at my job working at a rock quarry 8 hours of shoveling it
Watching pizza dump mud on himself reminds me of when I made that same mistake... of course I did it with liquid manure.
I like your channel a lot. But damn that was hard to watch Nick. You guys need some practice on a skid steer lol. And why did you dump the stone there if you were just gunna move it again. Work smart. Move something once. Not twice.
its called a skid steer and it was a new holland
