It’s no secret most Amazon sellers don’t know their actual business numbers. Sellers who look at this as a hobby or maybe it’s their first time running a business and this part of managing a business is not natural for them. I 100% was one of those sellers, I did not have a system or method to truly know what was going on in my business besides seeing if there was money in the bank.
With all the new FBA fees Amazon rolled out this year, it’s even MORE important to truly understand your business numbers because you can be working hard, long hours for little to no money.
THIS is why you need Sellerboard! Sellerboard gives you an accurate look into your Amazon business numbers - simply. No spreadsheets and formulas to enter or figure out, it is already there for you when you log in! This simple, affordable software has been an absolute game changer for my Amazon business because now I simply know what is making money, what was a bad buy, I can run historical reports for seasonal items to see what to look for and how much to buy this year. And that’s just ONE of the many things Sellerboard does.
Try it yourself for 2 months FREE and see everything Sellerboard and do for you and your business.

Do you factor in your sales tax on your cost of goods manually (i.e., when you enter your cost of goods for a unit you add sales tax to that cost) or is there somewhere else that can be calculated automatically? Or do you just not even factor it in at all?

    Hello
What data is automatically uploaded from Amazon and can someone adjust the numbers to make it appear as if you are making more or less? Trying to avoid someone being disingenuous with me
    Thanks

Hello Nikki, happy Monday and thank you for your videos! I started Saturday in my business, went to several stores and started scanning...my surprise was most of the UPC/ASIN were not on Amazon, and also many brands didn't have a CODE to scan, why is this? Thank you!

Is there any policies put in place that this company won't gather data to then compete? Or sell the data so that others will? They can see what's selling and then turn around and sell the same thing.

@NikkiKirk Awesome. Does SB let you show charts separately for each Asin per week, month, year, ect, like the chart in 10:25 of your video? But for each individual, Asin. Thanks

And Nikki is also wrong. You don't need Keepa at all. Keepa is actually a joke too! It records sales that don't actually happen. It records pending sales that the buyer may never pay for. And about half of all your orders will never be paid for because Amazon's warehouse workers will lose your packages or never ship your packages. Don't pay for Keepa! If you really want to test this trash. Ebay prices and sales are your friend. Just makes sure Ebay has consistant sales and then price your items slightly higher if you want. Buybox prices are also a joke. I see used books that go for $20 on Ebay winning a buy box at $182 on Amazon. And even if you price your item at $20, do FBA, and pay for a pro membership you can still not win the used buy box. Why I'm not sure. And Amazon customer service will not help you. And Keepa thinks $182 is the market value. Just use Ebay. No you are not going to sell your items much higher price than Ebay. Maybe slightly, but that might not even happen because you are going to compete with repricers that will prevent you from selling your items quickly and drive your prices down. But please pay Nikki $90 / month for bad advice.
