From his early influences growing up in the Wirral to founding the band with Paul Humphreys in 1978 and leading the charge as electro pioneers. Their hits include the global smash hit Enola Gay, Joan of Arc, If You Leave and Sailing on the Seven Seas. 2023 marks the 40th anniversary of Dazzle Ships which has been remastered and is out now.

I think Yoko Ono was the first with a synth on stage in Liverpool or maybe John Cale.
The PSB song Guy is referring to is “Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money). The Smash Hits interview Neil did with OMD is one of my favourites.

Guy, I like you a lot but your view that the dropping of the atomic bombs in 1945 was “THE most heinous war crime” is totally wrong. How can you compare this to the Nazi’s Final Solution and draw this conclusion?
Maybe he means it as a single incident... Like caused by one button pressed...
