As a collector of dark ages weaponry this one really held my interest!! And it's one of the more truly disturbing stories I've heard in awhile. Good read Doc! Thanks for it!!
It's not too similar, but there's a series of movies called Puppet Master. Kind of similar, except it's about living puppets instead of swords, created using magic and blood from dying people.
Sad truth is for the majority every time the movie industry gets a hold of anything truly interesting that came Way by book they ruin it or they cut it to shit but yes I'd watch movie like that
Loved it...but then what moment with this voice is not to love...but the occasional accidentally unedited mistakes are definitely the BEST!!! Love you good doc!!
“I Made the Most Curved Object In History” is how I initially read the title in my head. Intrigued, as I could not understand how the author could craft this into an evil & twisted tale with a sinister unlikeable protagonist, I just put my faith in the good Doc and hit . After several confusing minutes of decidedly non-round, circular or curved storytelling I grabbed my glasses and rechecked the title. “AH HA!” Moral of my story: Sometimes you need reading glasses just to listen to a story. Great work as usual Herr Doctor!
Creepen's voice is my hot cup of tea after a long day. You always pick the most interesting stories, even if some aren't my favorite, they're always good to hear.
The world is such an inhumane + cruel thing at times. This one was beautifully written! I have always believed that homes + objects carry an energy to them, much like how you can feel a shift in someone's mood so acutely. What do you think of energy + cursed items/places? Wow! I was actually cringing during some parts.
First time commenting on one of your videos! I want you to know that .....I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! Dr. Creepen your storytelling voice is the only voice I want to hear when I can't sleep and the the only voice that makes me go crazy! ;) truly keep up the great work!
Villains have always been my favorite + love the ones who teeter in the middle unexpectedly. It's all about the wild card, isn't it?Home on time for the doctor! You're wonderful! 💋
Ms Hellfire The concept of the villain has always fascinated me. If the rule of thumb is that insane people by definition can't know they are insane, can an evil person really know they are evil? Or are all the ways of man really right in their own minds? I wonder what the character thinks about himself in that regard. Does he think he's actually evil or just unbound by the trappings of the social convention of morality and therefore free to act on his own whims? 🤔
DeadBoysTwo It seems from my observations that the 'villain' thinks they're right + see nothing wrong with pushing the limits if it will get them what they want. The story here is a wonderful example. The main character is nonchalant about his actions because it seems like the normal for him to have such indifference to what he's done and the results. Which ties into the last question. Yes, it seems he is unbound and acts on his whims since he doesn't care for humanity in general. He sees the creation of the cursed item as a challenge since he's bored with everything else and does have a whimsical view on making such an object. His detachment is the most frightening thing. The crazy ones who are confident like the villain are also very deadly, much like the OP.
Ms Hellfire I like that. That's a very astute observation. One of my primary interests in villains(and horror) in general is the the people who create them. Like what makes the most frightening villain's, when they are the polar opposite of the author, the inner, in filtered self, or a combination of the two? Seeing the reaction to this particular one is also very interesting. The circumstances are fantastic yes, but the narrator is a very real and corporeal entity. Nothing supernatural about him, never harmed a hair on a single person's head, all he really did was make something and observe the effects. But we still see him as inarguably evil. Which is really interesting in and of itself considering how many people see violent crimes like sexual assault or murder occurring and do nothing out of self preservation's interest, but we don't seem to see that in the same light. It's an interesting concept to compare really. Especially with your observations in mind.
W0W!!! You're right doc, this was a MEAN STORY!!! I really liked this one!! I collect meleé weapondry and this story sparked my interest immediately!! Once again doc, Very well told!! BRAVO!!!
Go to my channel and see if you have any idea what type of dagger I show. It's very old and I got it from my Mom who was given it from a family friend when she was 16.I am 50 now and have no idea what it is.Knife shops n gun stores have no idea so help me out if you can. Thanks
This was super scary and made me kinda sick too, but still got through it. I kinda want to know how he circulated the blade?? Are there more parts to this guys story?? I Absolutely Love You and your Stories ♥️
Kristine Baker Sounds like it was meant to be continued. You could try following the author and commenting. A lot of the time they use that to gauge the popularity of the story and decide which ones to drop and which to keep and continue. I'd like to see it continued as well.
Now that's a horror story!! When he was looking through the house to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything, I really thought the story was gonna end with the cops finding the note he wrote to the guy he gave the sword to..you know, the one in the box that held the sword? He didn't mention anything about retrieving the note or the box. It would bring up suspicion if those things were found. Awesome narration Doc!!!
This is by far my fav story from u to date. Festival of snow was one hell of a story tho. I am an avid sword/knife collector so this one got me in the soft spot. ♡♡♡
I just discovered this one the other day and have already listened to it five times. It is without question my favorite of all of the good Doctor's readings. Fantastic story. I looked up the author and it turns out that in addition to being a horror writer (he also wrote the "Werewolves Are Assholes" stories), he is, by trade, a knifesmith. That explains why this story has so much interesting detail. My hat is off to Joshua Waggoner and Dr. Creepen. Thank you, gentlemen.
What if the individual was either possessed or "shadowed" by one of Lucifer's demons that would make the blade demon forged. Though something most if not all demons are not willing to do just for the hell of it (pun intended) as I could be used to kill them as it would require they put part of themself in to it (think hocrux from Harry Potter). But it's affect on the holy anointed would be just as damaging. It's Al worth mentioning not all demons are pure evil or servants of Lucifer, there is vague reference to demons who like a fallen angel changed allegiance to do the devil's bidding so to are there demons who serve God, a penance to give them a chance to finally find rest possible in heaven. They don't have the same restrictions as the holy anointed do, giving them the ability to fight fire with fire if you will. The possibilities are endless here look at the twin brothers, the Cain and Able SCP's and their weapons for example.
I listen to some of the other creepypasta RUclipsrs and they're all great in their own way......But i love coming back to your channel bc the stories you read are always amazing and your voice is so perfectly soothing for this kind of reading.......ty for the time and passion you give to all of us who "sit back and listen "
Noemi Rios You know, that's a pretty good observation. I don't think I've personally ever read or listened to an SCP that delves into its actual creation or conception, so that's a really interesting concept.

Ahh this is a wonderful, a 44 minute story. I love these longer ones. I feel bad for not keeping up to date but I’m here now & im all ears. I hope you’ve been well doctor ^~^
This one is AMAZING! ... as an occultist I can confirm that his methods of obtaining materials is very accurate in rituals, although not always sinister.
Ooohh I love this one. The devil is in the details of why I like this one so much. The way the author explains the making of the blade is basically how you make a regular blade just minus the dark stuff.
Nefertiti_goddess curses and other forms of magic typically rely almost exclusively on confirmation bias. If you believe in curses, then whatever you perceive or experience will show you that curses exist. If you already think a thing is cursed, then you'll unconsciously look for anything to support that presupposition.
Ryan Kellum Who knows? Maybe if you're cleaver enough and look in the right places, perhaps the author made a real live representation of the blade in the story. Maybe. ;)
Hiya Dr. Creepen. I hope that it's not too hot in there in Istanbul. It's been so hot and muggy here in NC. This is my kind of story. Awesome performance as always!

I FUCKING LOVED IT!!!! We must flood this author for a part 2. The idea has insane amounts of potential. I'd like to see another weapon made and the 2 fight each other just using humans as puppets.
Gives a bit of a chill considering how many murder items are out there in police storage or elsewhere. A fictional explanation for all the senseless murder going on.
I’m listening to this again because it’s my all time favorite. The evil in this story is genius and epic! This story should be made into some kind of creepy movie and by the way your narration is so good I can’t even believe it. Thank you again Doc, no one else can tell a story like you! 🙏🏻❤️
Dominic Brenner It didn't take long at all before he became my favorite. I don't think anybody could have narrated this one anywhere near quite as well as he did.
Was listening to other channels doing creepypast reading and what not then I saw you uploaded a new video and I am now extremely excited to be awake for the next 44mins (it's 2:14am) anyway thx for doing literally the best readings ever
I have to say this is one of my all time favorites!! I could absolutely see myself collecting objects like the main character does in this story. Sort of a macabre museum! With that being said it's sort of like he is taking a bunch of different horocrux's and binding them together...
Before I get into this vid , I just wanted to say that you sir are by far one of the most talented narrators I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Your approach to each story is awesome, your voice reminds of a cross between Benjamin Cumberbatch and Agent 47 from hitman. I'm super glad that I came across this channel by accident no less lololol Anyways thx for doing what you do and keep up the great work!
As a bladesmith myself, I really enjoyed that one. Making a knife or sword of a similar sort would be an interesting project although I doubt that it would have similar effects! It's VERY obvious that Joshua Waggoner is an experienced bladesmith himself!
Thank you Dr. Creepen Great Stories I prefer your stories more than spending on Audible ! So happy to see you reach nearly 1k less to 100K subs from 15k. Keep em coming. Dr. Creepen Rocks !
As always, Dr Creepen, you have provided us with an amazing story and an equally outstanding performance! Your voice is so soothing and haunting, which makes it the perfect remedy for insomnia! All I need whenever I simply cannot fall asleep is to listen to your channel, until your soothing baritone lulls me into a peaceful slumber!
...so...one more set of victims, then it's locked away in evidence? No one else is going to own it. Poor planning on his part. A cursed object should never also be the murder weapon.
Every truly accursed item should have a befitting name of it's own, I struggle to think of anything that would do Justice to an item as malevolent as this
DeadBoysTwo good idea dude. Regardless either way now I have more insight in how to Forge accursed items of my own, although being a god fearing man I wonder if it would be possible to create a blessed item using beloved or hallowed materials. Food for thought I guess
OMG SMH 44:00 minutes of our heroic Doctor Creepen sharing his heavenly angelic musical voice with us. Thank you for ALWAYS giving us awesome stories to listen too. You are amazing.😍👌😇👏😇👍😘
tiffany benefield yesss!!!! He Definitely has a Amazing Voice it's helping me get through my last week's of Housekeeping School 😋 it Soo intense and CrAzY now!!! Oh yeah Thank Goodness for Dr Creepen's 😘😍😘 I hope that your having a Fantasticalicious Night too 💋 Tiffany;) much love Sexy Grandma Darkness ✌💖💖
Sexy Grandma Darkness Than you & you're welcome!!! He Hello's with any situation.😘😇😍 Hope you have a great night too and much love to you too Grandma.😘😇😍
Hey Doc, I have listened to soooooo many stories of yours and others. I think this is my absolute favorite, I would be lying if I said I havmt heard this 10+ times. A second part would be my only request!!
The closest you're going to get to a part 2 is going to be "Finding the Most Cursed Object in History", which will bookend the separate story arc of the Werewolves are Assholes/Worst Hotel/Cursed Object storyline. There isn't a part 2 to this because it in itself is a "part 2", meant to introduce a character integral to the rest of the story.
I wish there was a LOVE button on youtube because I'd definitely smash that. Wonderful reading as normal. The story was great and I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Wow. A monster indeed, but not a pervert.
murders and thieves kill more pedos in prison than we can in the free world
Can’t believe this was two years ago… still come back every now and then for this great series
As a collector of dark ages weaponry this one really held my interest!! And it's one of the more truly disturbing stories I've heard in awhile. Good read Doc! Thanks for it!!
Trevor Lyons
Its easier to make a cursed object.
Buy a nurder wepon (optional
Bond a spirit and command it to do whatever malevolent thing you desire.
What a wild story. It'd be interesting to have a continuation where a preacher obtains the sword and goes into a hardcore struggle against it.
Rusty That's actually a wonderful idea.
God wills it
As the daughter of a preacher, that scares the hell out of me!!
Rusty MAKE YOU STRUGGLE
@@DeadBoysTwo your name isnt referencing D20 Fantasy High's Jawbone is it?
I'd love to see this as an 80's horror movie 😍😍😍
12:30 the real Creepen 😂👌
This should be a movie
Artak091 a series.
@@brotherj7328 I agree.
Yeah movie or series

hehe glad to see im not the only one that caught that...
That was my favorite part! That's the whole reason I came to comment. What a voice! 💖
snapped me right out of it :)
That part made me laugh so hard lmao
Loved it...but then what moment with this voice is not to love...but the occasional accidentally unedited mistakes are definitely the BEST!!! Love you good doc!!
I DON'T THINK A STORY CAN GET MORE EVIL THAN THIS ONE. GOOD STORY I LOVED IT.
this is nothing compared to the scariest story i ever heard:
NO INTERNET
As a ameteur blade/armor smith, this story really resonates with me. Awesome work as usual good Dr.
After working with a forge back when I could, this was really good. You got my mind off of feeling lousy, dear Doctor!

This is by far my favorite dr creepen story and I’ve heard most. But I listen to this every few months so it’s never old
I love the snaps you do when you stumble on your words. I've always done the same thing. This was a great story.

idk why but dr creepen saying "what a meanie!!" made my heart soften after a crude but good story
Could this be an SCP: Origin Story?
Noemi Rios most definitely!! An awesome one to boot.

DeadBoysTwo good idea dude. Regardless either way now I have more insight in how to Forge accursed items of my own, although being a god fearing man I wonder if it would be possible to create a blessed item using beloved or hallowed materials. Food for thought I guess
One of the best yet! Perhaps my favorite story so far!

Thank you, from the graveyard shift. A phenomenal listen. Really inspiring to get those creative juices going and write something.
Your narrations are so deliciously creepy! your voice adds something special. Thank you!
This is one of my absolute favorite stories of all time! Sooo good it hurt.
