Fantastic story, many thanks for sharing with us!
This was excellent!
Mlle. Langlois: Was this story your work?
I thought it was absolutely beautiful! And terrifying, of course, in that most wonderful of ways...
I believe you and I share an aesthetic! That rather Francis Baconian/David Cronenbergian horror/fascination with the idea of flesh and corporeality.
I find that your incorporation of this aesthetic into your story was flawless and intensely effective without in any way seeming forced. Bravissimo!
Dr. Creepen, I would like to thank you for a chilling, convincing rendition of a surreal tale engineered to touch our shadow selves in a subtle and uncomfortable way; I’d like to commend you on your ability to make your voice complicit in that act, and render the author’s reach longer by carrying her words through another sensory dimension. Bravo and bravissimo to you, sir.
Thank you both for a chillingly hallucinatory experience.
-Robert
J. Robert Hopfer Yes. I set most of my short stories in the multiverse of "the Sister Verse and the Talons of Ruin" if you're interested in something longer, and will be finished editing another in about a week. Thank you for the compliments.
Amelie C. Langlois The pleasure is mine! I have since read the shorts you’ve featured on your website and am absolutely thrilled. We share more than an aesthetic; in fact we seem to share a vision of the cosmos and of humanity’s place within it.
I am utterly taken with your work. Your use of descriptors managed to create lush imagery without becoming florid or stagnant. Indeed, your language rushes along like white water: swift, powerful, and irresistible-yet also infinitely, intricately contorted so as to subtly, like iron filings into the pen impressions of a journal’s missing page, touch a deeper emotional truth.
My considerable gratitude to the good Doctor for bringing your work and me together!
*dramatic* "There was something else though-"
*Ring ring*
*Annoyed* "Oh fking ell"
That was adorable Doctor
36:52 - "aw f**king hell!" 😂😂 love that you kept that in there, good little laugh. Great reading Doc
Yep! This story brings new meaning to the phrase: meet you on the flip side! Thank you for narrating this tale, Doctor Creepen.
This, in my opinion, is one of the BEST stories I've heard on your channel!! The writing, your narrating, simply incredible!!!! Absolutely loved it!!!!
I recently hit the jackpot stumbling across your channel and just thought I’d say thank you. You’re the best!”
Kathy walters lulz I just said this above in my comment and then saw yours. He’s an acquired taste not to be overindulged in! Too much of a good thing never ends up equating to another good thing
trooph WArrIor No problem. Stories are not the only thing I listen to on the internet. I like to learn things mostly. I love to go fishing and learned ways to catch fish without a fishing pole. That was so cool! I don’t think I will ever do noodling to catch catfish but it was cool to watch. That is only one subject. But Dr. Creepen has a beautiful voice and a talent for telling stories. Thanks for your concern. All the best to you.👍.
No matter how many different narrators I listen to, I always come back. Please don't ever stop narrating these stories!
Very enjoyable... thank you.
It's always a pleasure to spend time with the Dr.
I usually have a drink and my dog at my feet during these stories.. But, tonight he's pacing and continued to low growling.. Looking into my darkened kitchen! Yeah, I got a bit scared the more I listened.. 😉 I think he did too!💕💓💞😘😳😳 loving this one, Just what the.. Doctor ordered!😳😌😀😁😍 Thanks Doc! Great job.
I cracked up at the blooper at 36:54 XD
literally scared me soo hard
I usually listen to your narration to help me fall asleep (cause your voice is perfect) but this story kept me awake! Cant wait for more!
A great story by Aelie C. Langlois narrated by my favorite! Ironically, reality rang and it fit in smoothly! Thank you for all you do and much love to you and yours
This is a great story. You really bring it to life. I love your narrations. Keep up the excellent work...
I got an ad just after the phone ringing. Perfect timing. XD
This one is different, I had to listen to it three times, so far. I think I finally got it. You did a great job, I appreciate this!
Nice one Dr Creepen. I've been binging on ur back catalogue & loving every minute of it. My nightshifts are flying by with u keeping me company. Gratitude & best wishes from Scotland. 👍 🏴
*36:48*
*When the pizza man* *disturbes a climax*
😂😂😂👌👌👌
I like these longer stories perfect length to listen to for 20 min then fall asleep to for the rest of the night.
Dude I just found you last night and I love your content. You don't tell stories with major errors and your voice is perfect. Thank you. You are the best!
Ooh how soothing it is to hear your voice before bed. Amazing job doc as usual.
I love this story! It feels a lot like some of my favorite games - Blooodborne and Amnesia.
Your voice is stunning as always! A+ narration work, bloopers and all.
Great story doc!! I always enjoy strange and macomb. Very well told doctor, BRAVO!!!
New subscriber here. Finding this channel really raised the creepypasta bar for me. Your voice is delightful, and your story selection is phenomenal. I can’t wait to see what you upload next.
You always have the best stories for us,thank you
Lmao @ that blooper! Amazing read as usual.
Lol 'fucking hell!' 😆
This lead me into such an "impending doom" feeling in my chest that I had to take my headphones out and finish it through my phone. Well done bro, you convey emotion like a true professional.
As always can't help but listen, I think I comment this every video but I love your voice.
So it's actually not uncommon for trees to burst in colder climates. The sap expands. Scary as hell though swear to God it sounds like a gunshot.
I remember decades ago when it finally got cold enough in Mississippi for this to happen. Scared me senseless.
I love how questionable and painful the reality can become in this story. Great read and a great pick as usual, thanks dr. Creepen!
I fall asleep listening to you and my dreams are often nightmares and really creepy things that don't make much sense taken from these stories and it all makes listening to you a real unique experience!! You are really talented and many of the creepypsastas you narrate are the best that are out there! Well done!!!
Great story. Great narration. I did love the unscripted part hehe. I'll see you Friday dearest Dr
Yes!!!!! That gorgeous voice, smooth as silk is so relaxing! Thank you Dr. C!!
I cannot simply explain how insanely brilliant that one was. Thank you so very much for doing what you do. TGIDC
This is the kind of first person horror experience I live for. Thank you Dr. Creepen you are a very talented narrator. And my favorite creepy pasta reader
Yay! I absolutely love the longer videos 😁
36:52 Doc, why didn't you answer? That call was to tell you that you've gone long enough without a blooper to be considered an official Professional RUclipsr.
And I got an ad right in this moment
Lol, I was just about to leave a comment about that blooper! 😅😅 "oh bloody fkn hell" 😅😅🤦🏾♂️✌🏾🙏🏾 The Doc handled it well though! Lol
I've really grown to like your channel a lot Dr.
Keep up the great work
I have no idea why these are so entertaining to me, I normally listen to the “true” ones but I can’t stop listening to these.
It’s funny how you don’t know you’re into creepy stories until you see a random suggested video and click it. Now you’re life will never be the same!
This is the first story where the unknown made me tear.
Keep it up, this is awesome.
I definitely loved this story.
The velvet purr of Dr Creepen.
Anyone know if this is tied to the Ash Cloud series? It really sounds like a part 3 to that series.... especially since the composit-organism in that tale, is described as a hive of creatures composed of parts of other dogs, dear, bats, people ect with a scented aura....always described as smelling like an infected cut.
It's a different author. She has a long series called The Sisterverse that apparently all of her work is set in, so that's where this would be.
I couldn't help but notice that some parts reminded me of "Something is wrong with Edmonton ". I am in no way trying to say that the 2 stories are the same . But rather that the beginning really brought that story back to me .
I really enjoyed that little blooper with the phone ringing , I even jumped a bit by it.
But as always you delivered a great video . Thanks for that foray in my horror dose for the night .
Amazing story telling doc, and making getting ready for the nightshift shuffle a calm before the craziness starts...thank you.......😚👄🤘👍✌
Wow Dr.... Just wow.. That was a damn good one.. Anyone can read a story.. But it takes special skills to pass on feelings and sensations through such told stories. Good story doc. Good story!
36:53 see dear doctor you are so relatable this made me roar with laughter damn that person for calling you thank them for me that was hilarious and I love that you kept it in that is why I like your channel so much. I know it must suck for you after you've put so much time and effort into making such a great narration but again one of my favorite things about you're relatable.
I've listened to this tale a couple times over the months. That fucking phone call still gets me every time. You the best Doc
Great narration as always!
That phone call made me laugh. You have made my day with a good story and a funny bit.
I know mistakes like that are every level of annoying, but I needed that laugh more than you could ever possibly know. Thanks for that, Doc!
;-)
best narrator, and a good story
Great read. Like an unexplained third party observation of what normally makes the SCP foundation come up and kick some sarkic arse. 🤘🏼 That phone though xD glad you didn't cut it though as masterpiece need their small imperfections. Love your channel mate, can't work the day through without listening to creepypastas and yours are among my absolute favorites.
Dr. Creepen is busy, busy regaling us with our stories so no calling while he's entertaining us! Lol! Too funny, that was unexpected.
Hi Dr Creepen wouldn't it be super cool if us creeps could sit round a proper good camp fire and listen in person to the actual Dr Creepen, just a brain wave I had but it would be good oh and of course our favorite drinks.
When Dr Creepen’s phone rings right during a suspenseful part of the story and he goes “What the f*cking he’ll?!”, startled and annoyed. About 36 minutes in. #priceless
-good story too lol
That damn phone call made me jump more than any of these stories ever has. Well done
Btw great job Doc! You’re always the best
As far as advice goes I prefer "the only difference between an idea being insane and genius is results"
I thought this was going to be something similar to The Langoliers but boi did it take a different turn lmao; great story! One of the best cosmic horror ones you've read doc.
You know how to make the most revolting scene sound like a death romance Opera.
Your voice gives me shivers mmmmmmmm
Yes amazing just love your narrating ♥️♥️
Man, your voice is awesome, it’s so relaxing and amazing for narrating
That was amazing Dr.Creepen
Just what i needed, some sort of cosmic horror story from one of my favorite storytellers.
And lol 36:50
That actually made me jump a little😁
Hey my favorite doctor. How are you doing? Wonderful I am guessing. You always are. Anyway, loved the story. Kudos to the author, and another excellent narration by the doctor. You are outstanding. Simply outstanding. Kudos to you!!!! 😍😘💋💋💋💓💟💕💖💗💝💞💟💌💝💞💟💕💖💗💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
My fave bit when you got a phone call mid story and you swore lol , Fantastic story and read beautifully!
I'll never live that down!
this quite the Story.
love it!
Good narraration as always mate
35:48 makes giggle and feel much better for doing same thing when recording. A mix of shock when you are into what you're reading, and frustration because you don't want interruptions right then. He he.
Excellent narration. I especially liked the phone rings and the "Fuckin' hell!" bit
When I read the title I automatically thought about the Langoliers by Stephen King
진주 공주 'Princess Pearl' So did I! I was pleased this was not a copy of that idea!
진주 공주 'Princess Pearl' me too! I used to watch that all the time w my dad when I was little
That’s an epic story, totally ruined by a crap attempt at a film
@@SquareWheelMedia Not the worst King adaptation thought...I don't know if it's just because I love the books, but the movies made from his work always seem cringy. I was really disappointed at the new IT being basically laughable. :/
OMG YES!!! Love your voice Doc!!
OMG 😂 I guess I was more into the story than I thought. When that phone rang I dam near pissed myself. Love you you're so great at this. Love to you and your family have a wonderful day ❣️
36:53 deeply entranced with my mind in an entirely different reality then burst out laughing lol!! I love it!
36:53 tho lmao
Yeah I about fell out of my chair... Then about died laughing. 😂
I was wondering who else would comment on it. Lol. I'll admit it was definitely a welcome break to the building tension. It was getting really scary.
Yo Dr Creepen I've got that Friday feeling even tho it's Thursday oh I love the animation at the end too 😊🍸🍻🍻🍻🍻.
Been falling behind again gotta catch up but glad to be watching again and love the stories as usual man.
your bloopers are becoming my version of Find Waldo :)
I love stuff like this: surreal, visceral and disturbing.
How do you not get more views??? This is incredible!
I am going to leave a normal non obligatory comment about your voice and reading talent... it’s top notch my man...
The wife and kids are out and despite the flu, this is going to be a good evening. Thank you!
Aw:( I'm sorry that you're 🤒 I hope that you feel Betteralicious soon😇 much love Sexy Grandma Darkness✌💖💖
Sexy Grandma Darkness Thank you!!! Hope all is well.
Go to whole foods and buy colloidal silver. My sister had the flu and using it cleared it up in one day no joke
@@briangreen1781
Your welcome 💋 I'm Coolalicious:) much love Sexy Grandma Darkness✌💖💖
This is a story I give 10 of 10. Great Story!
Hold on let me just go get my tea brb
Yes!
Love the narration a voice so smooth with horror, sweet and terrible like a madman’s lullaby :)
That was an amazing story Doc!!!!
Honestly this sounds like a continuation from "The Horror from the Vault" Series. I'm sure you know it Dr.Creepen
recently discovered this channel/account and I have to say.... Out of ALL of the creepypasta/horror reading channels, your voice and the way you read is phenomenal. The only other person I could compare it to is CreepsMcPasta. I really wish there were more cosmic horror/Lovecraftian Short Story readings. Any chance you'll do any of that?
I have a second channel on which I post shorter stories, for this very reason!
@@DrCreepen Oh hellll yeah! Creepen's Dungeon? just subbed right now, Thanks for letting me know!
Amazing dude, can’t wait to listen to this in bed shortly 😊
H S because all his stories are amazing
YOUR PHONE SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!!! HAHAHA I litterally jumped in my chair! Damn, it was awesome though :P
I really enjoy the music you use D, they really set the tone and I never tire of hearing them, just has that creepen stamp on it, hell I still remember the radiator in the background in ur old story, I thought that was pretty cool how you used the noise it made as background☺
I really enjoy these type of stories thank you very much
Dr Creepen, you rock.
Creeptacular! Bat hat off to the author and our dear narrator!
Going old school with a water bottle this time, and doing some FE Heroes grinding, multitasking is a beautiful thing.
Hearing the phone ring followed by a quick 'fucking hell' was pretty funny
Pretty interesting and very horrifying creepypasta Dr Creepen and Amelia C. Langlois !
wow I really enjoyed this story! thank you!
Damn fine tale, keep on creepin’ on Doc
Is that wise because I dream about what I'm listening to
Excellent thank you doc
