Welcome to the beginning of your whole new musical reality. The bar is TooL and what truly great music sounds like, means & represents. They’ve been begging for the musically gifted to deliver something that will even turn their heads so they can retire...but that’s simply never going to happen. These cats fell into a special universe’ flowing with a wide open channel of creativity and decided to stay awhile. And there’s yet to be anything even close to simply being the greatest rock band to walk the earth ever since. I’m honored to be a fan of a band which will be discussed, dissected & examined for many, many years after we’re all gone. The Maestros of my life and they bring me to tears on the regular. It’s a beautiful thing.

Oh, and I would recommend the song "Invincible" and "Pushit, live Salival version" by them, but I know the Tool army will give you plenty of requests and since all their songs are great, any Tool will do ✌
Watched for TooL reaction... keep listening to them even if you don't do reaction vids. This band changed the way I listen to music and look at life in general. Keep riding the spiral and see where it takes you, enjoy.
P.S. always have lyrics on hand... it gets a little confusing at times and you may need to do a little research.

Tool is a great band.
We were given perfect bodies, perfect souls, a perfect place to live for a short period of time. Angels and Creator are looking down in awe at how we take it all for granted and figure out a way to destroy it. One of my favorites immediately when this first came out. Lay down in the dark with eyes closed and just experience it. No words to describe the feeling. I love seeing how people get their minds blown and experience what I've done for almost 30 years. My favorite band of all time since Opiate.

It's a very interesting song. Angels looking upon humanity baffled; of course who was the first angel according to scripture? Lucifer. He fell and became the antithesis of everything he was supposed to uphold and protect because he embraced (or perhaps invented) hatred and malice. The correct metaphor is angels and devils exist in all of us. Everything you do when you get up in the morning matters. That little act of kindness you didn't have to do, but you did anyway because it made you feel good and made another's life easier. Or that cold, mean extra dig in on someone because you lost your composure. It all matters. It changes lives. Franklin Roosevelt reminded us that we are all children of the Earth. When they (the depressed peoples of the world) hunger we hunger; if they long for freedom we are not free.

I love TOOL, but Chocolate Chip Trip is atrocious.. just to name one. They do have duds.. not a lot, but they do. Like every great band that ever existed.
@@Falleninator hey I agree about Chocolate Chip Trip but I wouldn't classify it as a song. It's a percussion solo. 🤷♂️ I also wouldn't count any of the interludes they are known for. But we are all entitled to our opinion.
@@LanceThompsonKssooner IMHO, 90% of Fear Innoculum was a major let down, and the only good songs on the album are Pneuma and 7empest. Don't get me wrong, I fucking adore tool, but F.I. sounds like someone took a bunch of Tool riffs from their previous songs, wrote some mediocre B-sides with them and called it an album. It was a dissapointment to say the least, and a straight up bad album at the worst.

My recommendations for TooL reaction songs. Honestly all of them...But there are songs that everyone should hear WHILE following along to their lyrics. If you don’t your just getting half of TooL. Hopefully you check them all out! From their AEnema album: Stinkfist, Eulogy, H, 46 & 2, Pushit. From their Lateralus album: The Grudge, Eon Blue Apocalypse/The Patient, Schism, Parabola, Lateralus (the greatest song to ever be written. Written to the timing progression of the Fibonacci Sequence, which when graphed in squares the size of each number it becomes a never ending spiral of growth), Reflection. From their 10,000 Days album: Vicarious, Wings For Marie 1 & 2 (you’ve done the others). From their Fear Inoculum album: Fear Inoculum, Pneuma, Invincible, Descending, Culling Voices, 7empest. Since I’ve already listed a lot, I added nothing from their Salival disc or from their 1992 debut album Opiate.

Ok My Girl. So I watched your reaction to Tools Prison Sex. The comments were deactivated there so I need to ask you here. You said that song was so nice. You really liked it and it made you feel happy. You do realize that song is about him being raped in prison and how you become the same monster that harmed you. Its a desperately dark song. This song is from 1991 and was a topic of taboo. This shit wasn't spoke about back then but the song became a platform to which these topics could be approached.

I'm one of those people who rarely gives two shits about lyrics (which is interesting considering I was the song-writer in my band). I'm 99% about the instruments. TOOL is one of the few bands where the lyrics matter to me.
