watching this video as a tyrolian made me soo incredibly happy to be from there. I sometimes "forget" how beautiful it really is. Thank you for this. I loved it so much. :) xx
Hi! I am interested in visiting the area in a few weeks. Is it easy to hop on trains last minute? Can I get away with not planning my trip ahead and kind of getting on whatever train I feel like the day of? Also, if I do that, will Trains be crazy expensive?
Myself and my wife, did a 33 day tour of Europe (May 2024) and one of our stops, was Seefeld. It was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! Austria 🇦🇹 stole our hearts! Hope to return!!!
At the castle of Fernstein Your were allowded to trespassand enjoy the Nature, but on your own risk. No fishing. No diving, not picking flowers or anything that belongs to the property. But enjoy the Nature as it is and keep it that way... You were allowed to bot trespass AND enjoy Your stay. You better learn German for a much better vacation next time in the Alps with means Germany, Swiss, Austria and the North of Italy. Germania rules...
Exactly why i have a small van (5.4 metre panel van) - you can mix and match for accommodation and not worry about parking etc. Vans are great, but nothing beats sitting on a balcony in an alpine storm.
You guys have such a keen eye for cinematographic-esque shots combined with the music. You really did the beautiful nature, landscape and villages justice. The drone shots were a brilliant addition, since you asked. About the local traditions: when I was a kid we travelled to eastern-Germany and there was this barbarian stageplay where they reenacted battles. It was a seasonal thing, apparently, but for years I thought anything over the border to the east consisted of people living in tents and battling each other.
Love all your videos! As someone who is mostly wheelchair bound these days, I love experiencing such wonderful things the world over through your eyes. You are both so upbeat, never complain, live life to the fullest, and are sweet people. Keep traveling. Note: I got to do a lot earlier in my life and was so blessed to hike, sail, camp, horseback, fly, rollercoaster, ski, etc.. I know I have had a blessed life. It's great watching others live fully. Be safe.
@@AnoNymInvestor Thank you! I am and I have great support. Your country happens to be in my top 3 to visit someday as that is where my family is from (three generations back). Your country is beautiful!
Emma its such a joy to hear you speak . You speak with such eloquence. 👍it has become a habit of mine to press the like button before starting to watch the video. I love drone footages , they add a different dimension. I visited Austria tyrol last summer and its so so beautiful and maybe i would visit again someday. I am now eagerly awaiting for your next video. Tschüss.
The drone footage of blindsee is amazing! The color is crazy, the trees are beautiful, and the mountains put it in a serene setting. Great job! Glad you were still able to see it, even though the parking situation was stupid.
I have a Mavic Mini and I love it. The views you can get from them can just be amazing and agree how when flying them it is easy to just get caught up in the moment.
Orange and Black are the colours of KTM, an Austrian motorcycle company so you fit right in Emma. Austria looks beautiful and I think the drone footage really adds to the video, keep it up Alex.
I was at Blindsee some months ago, it is really great to hike. You go through the woods near the lake or you go on a small 15 meter high path above the lake. It is really beautiful
I'm not sure exactly what you two are doing differently but these new episode's are really compelling, in a new fresh way. Can't put my finger on it but we're happy about it, and your views are growing crazy. Huge congratulations 😊 James and Kim
For fresh water diving probably the best place for me is the Attersee also in Austria. It has an incredible view range and has many interesting spots to dive to.
Was it a bright top? Well, I think you over-excited a few pixels on my monitor. But, it was worth it. You were on point all day. Great tour. Time to re-calibrate my screen.
amazing footage as always . i was just searching on youtube for what to watch next, while having dinner. and only old stuff was recommended and clips i wasnt interested in. no..no..been there...watched it.. no... and then yeahh the reisebohnen have uploaded a new video. perfect monday as it seems.
Tirol is a very special part of Austria. I have travelled here many many times. Towns like Tarrenz, Längenfeld, and Ehrwald are fantastic. Glad you got to experience this part of Austria. Keep up the travels, and enjoying the world. Cheers guys.
Do you gave experience getting around on trains in that area? How easy is it to get on a train the day-of without prior reservations? Are they likely to be full? Also, do trains get crazy expensive if you just book it the day-of or the day before? Thank you in advance!
What a lovely video. Austria looks enchanting and your (plural) relationship with the camera displays just the sort of folks by whom I'm happy to be "influenced."
Definitely looking with our own eyes than a drone view is a different experience, but when in cases like this it seems lucky to have a drone. Tyrol is just so beautiful kinda dreamy fairy landscape. Beautiful vlog! ❤️
Beautiful video. I enjoy the drone views. They provide a wonderful perspective on the area you are in and make your production values look far more professional. Keep them up.
Hi Emma & Alex. Wonderful video & awesome scenery. Keep up the good work. As for drones, they can give a spectacular perspective in certain settings, but it’d be really annoying in quiet scenic places if there were several buzzing around, so I’m happy that they’re not more widely used.
I've spent the best days of my childhood around and in those lakes. My grandparents had a holiday home in Forchach, in Lechtal, which is just around the corner from there. I can recommend to visit, because the Lech is one of the last "wild" rivers in Europe.
Traveling with drones... We love the aerial views. We are trapped and grateful of your content ❤️. As soon as countries will allow us to travel we will be exploring some of the beautiful places you are sharing with us. Thank you as always!
When you mentioned the Fernpass road, my very first thought was: traffic jams! Especially on weekends during the holiday season. And a bit later into the video: There you go...!
I am in Austria but I’m British, coming back in 2 months. Customer service isn’t the best here but for those looking to visit, check out Carinthia or Hallstadt
Been (pun intended) to Austria about ten times, both winter and summer and when my daughter was doing a year abroad teaching in Vienna. Fantastic holidays, great memories. BTW I think drones are a great tool for making travel videos, adding unusual perspectives which would otherwise be hidden.
Drones= very positive when done well! You do it well, so it's great! Having the added perspectives expands the experience nicely. I often wish I had one for my trips. To share with others. Also, I travel by scooter, so showing people the peripheral sights I pas would be wonderful! So drones done well are fantastic!
I am having a perfectly dreadful day/week/month. This was a lovely 15 minute vacation. Thank you so much. I wish I was young again so I could travel even more. Small towns in Austria and Germany are lovely and I agree with you, no campervan needed there. Stay central to the town/village for a real taste of the culture. When I was 17, we stayed in Dinkelsbuhl on the Romantic Road. Our room was above the restaurant/pub. You had to go thru the kitchen and up the back stairs to get to the 6 guestrooms. If you were out late, you had a key to the front door. No alarms. Dim lighting. You just walk through the restaurant and through the kitchen after hours. Drones? An amazing tool. Now a necessity if you really love scenery. Want a great perspective of Venice or Rome? A view in the alps? No different than using a camera nowadays.
Beautiful scenery. My mother’s father’s family (Matuella) came from the Mezzolombardo region. I am part Tyrolean. I still have a distant cousin living there.
welcome to austria, have a good time and enjoy it, eat enough cheese and yoghurt so that you can recharge your batteries. nice to have guests like you two.
I live in Nassereith and know 90% of the people in the video. It is so weird yet so funny. I really enjoyed your video... It is a totally different perspective than from a local. Greetings from the mountains! :)
Another nice video. Thanks. I'm off to the Tirol tomorrow, (actually staying at the Forggensee in Allgäu, Germany) but will be doing a Tirol trip via the Fernpass and Plansee. The drone shots a fanatastic! I love the bird's eye views. The only thing that worries me a little is that it will become so popular the the skies over beauty spots will be overcrowded. But hey, that's just the pessimist in me. Keep the films coming, y'all, and enjoy your trip.
I love your top. I have a sweater that color that I only wear during fall and winter. It reminds me of all the yummy smells from this time of year. Especially like the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yummmmm
Drone footage: Yes! Who hasn't wished to fly like birds and see the world from their vantage? Great for freshwater diving: Laguna Bacalar in Mexico, warm and clear and beautiful. Austrian Alps look amazing!
I hope you have a flying licens for the drohne, in the EU you need one if your drone is heavyer than 250 Gramms or has a camera on it. If not the Police in austria and germany can be very harsh.
Drone shots can add a lot, though everyone and his brother has one now so what use to be a special add to a vid is now routine stuff. Watch enough of these and most adhere to the travel vlog formula (intro, see us drive and talk, see us stop at scenic overlook or little hike, fly the drone, back in car and the either food shots or accommodation shots, quick wrap up and cut. But I keep watching them anyway.
Hi Guys, awwwww, yeah i remember my many visits to Austria and it ranks right up there with the best there is for sure. Two places stick out in my mind up in the Mountains, and they are Soll, a beautiful little Town, typically Austrian and location was probably my 2nd fave place, Zell-Am-Zee was the icing on the cake for me . . . . . Wow doesn`t begin to even get close to how wonderful this place is, right up in the Mountains, imagine a flat plateau with Mountains as the back drop, then as you look out towards them, in front is the most wonderfully positioned Lake, huge, with a Curved Frontal esplanade with the backdrop of the town behind you, and it even has it`s own beach too lolol, i could quite easily move lock stock and barrel there, it just Blew me away. So Glad you are loving it, and the fact locals in various regions, have nighttime mini festivals sometimes during the summer months too and they are so Uber friendly. Look forward to the next one, stay safe!! Chris.
I share your hesitation for vanlife 365 days a year and your thinking about a mix of living in the van and staying in flats, hotels, etc, occasionally might be ideal. There's no shower better than a hotel shower, where the hot water never ends (which is pretty much the opposite of van bathing). Plus, I'd as soon be in a tiny hotel room as a campground convenient to a large city. At least with the hotel, you can be IN the city instead of cheek and jowl with other campers at the end of a long train line. Loving your posts from this trip, btw.
Had the pleasure to visit the plansee like 3times with a caravan and omg its so worth it. If you are there for a longer time you should visit it at a nice day, around the lake are like so many pathways to waterfalls and amazing trees and mountains and its really cold even on a warm day (the water) but the sun seems to be hotter since you are like 1k more near to the sun. (Lake is about 1000m above the sea). Reutte and all the mountains around it and stuff you can see there makes it to one of the best places in europe for me. I think the lake, with the mountains on a nice camping day with a good evening grilled dinner is even more beautiful than hanging around in greece, marlorca or spain. At 9PM-10PM its getting a bit colder even if you got like 35degrees C° on that day. It colds up that you can sleep perfectly. Love your videos, greetings from saarland, germany
I love the drone shots, it adds a completely different perspective, and allows you to see things normally that go unseen. Now my neighbors drone, hovering about, is going to have an accident I believe! ;) great video!!

That is exactly what we germans think about you. 🤣 🤭

I really like Daniel Radcliffe, you did a great job with the drones.
Yeah, he makes very satisfying videos
Love the drone shots and you do a great job with them.

Drone shots are cool because you get a view that you can't get otherwise and those views are stunning!
It's awesome that the average person is now able to get shots you would have needed a helicopter not long ago.
You guys have such a keen eye for cinematographic-esque shots combined with the music. You really did the beautiful nature, landscape and villages justice. The drone shots were a brilliant addition, since you asked.

Austria with Switzerland, Slovenia Bavaria some of the prettiest places on earth, no competition

Love 🇦🇹 Austria's landscape , Alps , Alpine lakes very pretty villages, delish local food .
Just gorgeous 😍
I live there and the mountain view never gets boring
I have a Mavic Mini and I love it. The views you can get from them can just be amazing and agree how when flying them it is easy to just get caught up in the moment.
Up with the very best shows. So well done that it makes me homesick!
Emma must be of an ‘Autumn’ palette, because orange looks lovely on her! Drones add an immersive quality to films and I’m glad you both love Austria 💚
Orange and Black are the colours of KTM, an Austrian motorcycle company so you fit right in Emma. Austria looks beautiful and I think the drone footage really adds to the video, keep it up Alex.

I love drone shots of landscapes. I would not fly one because I lack the technological skills but I love your drone footage😊

I love the drone shots- from the perspective of a viewer- the shots are just stunning.
Great experience and lovely presented. Next time you come to Tirol try the Kitzbühel Area....
Beautiful country, beautiful views.

Tirol attracts visitors seeking the best of two worlds: the urban sophistication of Innsbruck, its capital city, and the spectacular Alpine landscape.

Hope you guys go to the alpine roller-coaster in mieders.
