The best moment was discovery ending and being forever decanonized. It is among the worst shows ever made and is the antithesis of the spirit of Star Trek. The worst moment was lower decks being cancelled. It was very enjoyable and well done. Hope it returns.
Discovery was not decanonized. Michael is still Spock's sister whether you like it or not.
Even if the presence of the Disco Klingons somehow meant that they didn't also exist in the Prime timeline, "Prime timeline" and "canon" are not the same thing.
@@Seal0626 that’s true. They are canon. But they are an obscure branch of canon that can now be ridiculed and forgotten. In a multiverse all things are canon because on a broad enough timeline all things must occur. What matters is they relegated it to a bad dream because they know it is universally disliked and the antithesis of the spirit of trek.
@@Fallenburn1618 I guess _Voyager_ is now relegated to a "bad dream" because all those Harry Kims existed in alternate realities. And _Enterprise,_ because T'Pol existed in an alternate reality, and _Deep Space 9,_ because Curzon Dax existed in an alternate reality, and _Lower Decks_ itself, because the entire universe existed in an alternate reality. And of course Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Scotty, Chekov, and Sulu are "bad dreams" because they existed in the Mirror Universe, which is an alternate reality.
Anything that involves Wesley Crusher is not a great Star Trek moment. And thanks for the Lower Decks spoiler warning. It is appreciated since I have not finished watching that.
No mention that St Disco is no longer canon?! 🤭🤭🤭🙌🏻🙌🏻
It still is canon. Yall really need to get over yourselves. We get it. You hate black women in leading roles and for some reason hate star trek yet claim ti love star trek
So I’m not allowed to dislike a show because a black woman is in it? I didn’t realized we were culturally obligated to enjoy it.This sort of attitude is the reason that many fans turn their back on certain projects.
@@blackbird7781 Nothing to do with race. Canon breaker from the start. Identity politics driven and lacking actual science at times. FWI. Lower Decks clearly states it exist in an alternate reality. Neither prime or kelvyn = non canon. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@blackbird7781Get a clue, people are over your tired attacks. The writing sucked, the character sucked. And your impotent muh racism tropes do too.
@@Midaswelby-r3h You can dislike it, but that doesn't mean it's not Prime canon. Which it is.
Sorry, you got a bit of "Wesley Crusher" in there, I think that's in the wrong place. That should be in the other video, yeah.
sorry but that's a down for #5, it's not wil wheaton playing Wesley crusher any more, it's wil wheaton playing wil wheaton which is just awful,
Maybe its just the long day i've had at work, but none of these really spark any sense of joy in me. I think I may finally have lost interest in Star Trek :(
New trek looks hideous. Because it is. What? Gonna tell me not to believe what I see? C'mon.....please.
Best two moments: cancellation of Star Trek Discovery(aka the adventures of Capt Cryin and crew) and Star Trek Rick and Morty 😆
And also added best moment. Discovery being de-canonised thanks to Star Trek Lower "Rick & Morty" Decks hahahaha
Yeah... how dare she exist!!!
Well aren't you just a unique little hater, ohh look at you, you big boy posting negativity on a RUclips channels comment.
I came here to say that :)
Don't be an ass.
🤦♂ I know that on this channel it's not your job to think critically but rather to just be cheerleaders for Star Trek, but you know as well as I do, *DISCOVERY SUCKS!* We all know it does, please stop pretending like it doesn't. You're not fooling anybody. Thank you.
Thank God that awful show that replied almost entirely on over the top flashes and explosions and gruesome violence is gone. That show scarred me.
Lemme get this straight. 900 years later, the Been are *still* bad guys? In 900 years the Federation couldn't produce one Spock level ambassador to broker peace? And they're..... gelatinous? DSC ruined the Breen.
When did they remove deep space nine???
Wil Wheaton sucks
How can Tilly now be on acadamy when Discovcery isn't canon anymore?
It is canon you weirdo. We get that you weirdos hate diversity but get over it. Discovery happened and is canon
It's still canon.
@@chillwalker get over it. It is canon
• canon is not the same thing as the Prime timeline; the Mirrorverse is canon, as are all the realities Worf visited in "Parallels", as are all the quantum realities shown or referenced in "Fissure Quest"
• the presence of _Discovery_ Klingons in an alternate quantum reality no more proves that _Discovery_ (and by direct association, _Strange New Worlds_ and - via "Those Old Scientists" - _Lower Decks_ itself) isn't in the Prime timeline than the crew of Harry Kims proves that _Voyager_ was never part of it
@Seal0626 exactly. The joke was not about discovery being canon or not. The joke was about how klingon appearance got retconned. It's a 4th wall breaking joke about 'what if they didnt retcon this'
