I just restarted Emerald last night. It's probably just nostalgia talking, but Littleroot's theme starting up at the beginning always made me feel like I was coming back home after a long time. I love this game and I love this arrangement!
Remember when I bought Omega Ruby on release day, blasting the Littleroot Town theme from my 3ds. My mother (musician) who dislikes video games even said: "Wow the music is not bad!"
My childhood. I still remember the first time playing this when I was 8 years old. Couldn't understand the mechanics or anything but I had so many memories. Fast forward to the ORAS remakes, picked the game up just before I college and played it through. Gotta love Hoenn, it's where I spent my childhood haha.
My first pokemon game (I was born in 2008 so dont blame me for not playing the originals) Was Omega Ruby, since I had gotten a 3Ds XL (old version) on the christmas of 2014, and In spring the next year I got Omega Ruby. I remember Stumbling upon a skitty in route 116 for the first time while I was training my Treeko because Roxanne kept critting me and I didnt know why, and I was like: “OH MY GOODNESSS!!! 😍😍😍😍” Skitty is my all time favorite pokemon, and btw, I just got Alpha Sapphire for Christmas, 2023!!! I still have Omega Ruby and still play them constantly, just like I have always been doing, since Im too young (15) to really have much nostalgia, So i’m still in my childhood 🤭💕
As someone who started with Ruby and Sapphire, this makes me so happy to hear. Littleroot will always be home for me. Thanks for such a wonderful arrangement ❤️
Okay, Zame, you got me, I cried, I cried from the nostalgia of this theme. You see, where most people have nostalgia for gen 3, I have Nostalgia for ORAS. Gen 6 was the first, and so far only gen I've ever been "on time for" so when I got this game at 14 years old, 7 years ago, this song reminds me of then. Back when I was a Freshman in highschool, God times were simpler then.
Even just at the beginning, this is my favorite arrangement of Littleroot Town. Alluding to the Hoenn credits theme in the beginning was SO good, and I love the energy here. Plus, your mixing just becomes better and better as you've been doing this. I'm very happy to see you continue to get better.

Desde hace un mes me ha vuelto la nostalgia por Hoenn, pasando de sobrevolar la región en el Rubí Omega hasta acabar tocando algunos temas, siendo este el primero de ellos. Hace nueve años comencé a jugar Pokémon con el Esmeralda, y aunque mi memoria en todo este tiempo se ha ido borrando, conservo muchísimos recuerdos sobre mi experiencia. Por desgracia, perdí esa partida y… La cantidad de horas y de progreso que se fue con ella es incontable. Ahora quiero intentar recuperar todo aquello, plantar una semilla con mis recuerdos y volver a jugar Pokémon Esmeralda de la misma manera que lo hice hace tanto. ¡Y hasta he conseguido a Treecko shiny! Mañana mismo tengo la idea de comenzar la partida, y esta coincidencia me ha sorprendido muchísimo, es como una señal. Littleroot Town es de mis temas favoritos, es muy tranquilo y me trae una sensación de nostalgia de estar en casa en tiempos pasados. Unfortunately, I've never been nostalgic for Gen 3 or ORAS. I've never played Ruby Sapphire or Emerald, but I have played ORAS and even that was recent. Despite being new to the Hoenn region Littleroot still gives me a feeling that I can't describe.
