- Here they are! We’re not done yet though. Eric had a bit of a revelation this morning, unrelated to the strange emails. Let’s be patient for him. I think he may have remembered something important. I don’t know what, yet.
The first set of tracks is from a CD, and in a high quality.
The first track is the Title Screen, and was composed early on.
The second track is the early theme for Cool Cool Mountain, or Snow Slider as it was called back then.
The third track is from an early version of the underwater levels. This version was made to test some composition work for the track.
The second set of tracks is from a variety of audio tapes.
The first track is a very, very early audio test, before Mario 64 was in active development. It's an arrangement of Fantaisie-Impromptu by Chopin.
The second track is an early version of Tick Tock Clock. It's a remix of the standard overworld theme, and was taken out for memory reasons.
The third track is the Boo Go Round. It uses a different instrument set but is very similar to the final game.
The fourth track is a scrapped race theme for when you would compete with Koopa the Quick or other NPCs. This track was cut for taking up memory and replaced with the normal slider theme.
The next one is Key Get. This is a short jingle.
Next is the Final Bowser track. It's a demo track, recorded with the guitar in my home studio and sounds from the sequencer. It's one of my greatest achievements for just how well I do on the guitar! :)
The final track is Early Credits. This one is an arrangement of smb3's credits theme and is one of my favourite tracks.
Please enjoy these, I've exhausted my collection of audio tapes, so this may be the last Music Showcase in a while, maybe ever. Thank you for listening to some of these!

I just realised this picture is like the "Bobomb Village."
Wow your right!!..
Or Is just a very good recreation of bo-bomb battlefield but who knows...
Just underneath is the secret Koopa Village
What is the "Bombomb Village" and what is the "Koopa Village"?
@@greekgamergoddessgalaxy Bob-Omb Village is a supposed unused area, one that would be the hometown of Bob-Ombs, and feature some cut characters, like Prince Bob-Omb. Koopa Village, Idk, I just heard about it here, but it's probably another cut course where Koopas would live, maybe even underground.
@@Mike14264 oh ok thanks 😊... But where did you hear about "Bomb Village"?

@Antshield Ikr lol
@@daylawashere I just noticed yesterday that the 'Mac' in 'Big Mac' stands for 'MacDonald', sometimes you just don't notice these things and never question them lol
I just realized that the upside-down missing center Triforce piece is no longer canon and hasn’t shown up in Zelda games since Ocarina of Time.
After seeing the extra Triforce piece on the Hyrule Shield in OOT, I just assumed it was always there. I thought Nintendo was saving a big reveal for some future Zelda game. “Someday, we’re gonna learn what happened to the missing piece of the Triforce,” I thought to myself. But no. It was left out of future games and is no longer considered canon. Wow.
And then I jumped down the rabbit hole by asking, “Why? Why no Tetraforce?”
Well. Let me tell you.
Basically, Japan dislikes the number 4 because the Japanese word for four (shi) sounds the same as the Japanese word for death (shi). It’s spelled differently in Japanese, but still sounds the same. Homophone. So 4 is unlucky. The Tetraforce would have had a very negative connotation in Japan, so they removed it from the canon.
Shucks.
Before Twilight Princess came out, I was sure the missing piece of the Triforce was hidden somewhere in the Twilight Realm. I thought the brooding darkness and foreboding of that realm was sort of a signal, like it was foreshadowing the big reveal. But alas, no.
@@precoius Tetraforce was never canon

Woah thanks for warning me mate
technicaly its a 32 bit adventure because mario 64 actually runs in 32 bits
I wonder how many decades it'll take before the jokes long forgotten, mario64 is no longer a remembered classic, and all this is found on the old web and falsely attributed as fact.
8-9. This stuff is gonna seem absolutely primitive compared to the immersive gaming experiences we got coming.
long after we are gone
What if someday, Mario finally dies off, and is mostly forgotten, until some catastrophe happens. Then, future archaeologists find ways that people entertained themselves in the distant past, and find this game.
It’s also quite interesting that this game set the future for all of gaming. Quite interesting if you ask me.
So people would think mario 64 is lost media in the future?
I cannot fathom how unsettling Boo Go Round is.
let's just say it gives you a BOO on your face!

It felt nostalgic prob cause it's like a sort of early jolly rogger bay/dire dire docks theme
weird to think i made this comment 2 years ago coming on 3
the clock tower is giving me EXTREME Super Mario 3D Land clock tower vibes
I just like thinking to myself that one day a guy was bored because of quarantine and just said "You know what I'm gonna do? Create a massive ARG that involves "beta" Mario 64 material and "past experiences" while working on the game." As it stands this series is my favorite ARG and the amount of effort that is put in is absolutely outstanding. I hope the story doesn't conclude with him getting emails and that's it. I love where it's going and I can't wait to see more!
I love that the early tick rock clock theme follows the same pattern of Bob-mob Battlefield, Cool Cool Mountain, and Slider all being rearrangements of the same song
I love the Early Title Screen, Koopa Race and Final Bowser themes a LOT
If I'm allowed to break character for a moment, I really want to congratulate whoever made the prerendered 3d graphics. Man, you (or you guys if this is a group effort) should make remixes like these outside of the creepy Argonaut Mario 64 narrative - I'd love to see what you (guys) could make without any restrictions on what you can mix.
P.S.: Merry-Boo-Round would've been a way better pun.
PLEASE release these in .flac quality once you're done with this project! I *adore* the sound of these!!!

I feel like the scrapped clock theme basically being the Main Theme/Bob-Omb Battlefield is a reference to Super Mario 3D Land, with the clock theme being a separate arrangement that sounds like the overworld theme.
This started as some SM64 Iceberg stuff and now has branched off into its own thing, which I appreciate.
I get this is an ARG but come on give us a high quality cut of the final Bowser theme (and possibly the beta boss theme from the last vid)
