New trial, the court and the judge did everything to make sure she had a fair trial. Sarah is the only one who created problems. She was asked if she was happy with her defence, and she said she was. She is on the toddler level , screaming because she's not getting what she wants.
I mean everyone deserves a trial even Sarah Boone. I mean in a perfect world she would have done a plea since she's obviously guilty and she could have spared herself probably half of her sentence.... You give Sarah Boone a trial because it makes sure that innocent people get trials too.

For Karen Read, she needs to keep her mouth shut. The more she talks the more I despise her. She complains about them dragging the kids into court when she’s the one that woke the niece up that morning. Grrrr. But especially grrr to Proctor because he f-ed this case up so bad we’ll never get justice.
I don’t necessarily fault Owens for jumping into the Boone case, even late. Yes, the judge was right to deny her free representation as she had abused the system. But I also dislike that precedent so I’m glad he and the other lawyers stepped in. I don’t even mind them arguing they didn’t have enough time. But I can also assume that, if they had had more time, Sarah would have eventually driven them away too. And I agree that it was worse for her to try to run the battered spouse case, because it let the state show exactly what sort of person she was. If she hadn’t pushed that, she might have gotten a lesser included if she had stuck to it was meant to be a game, she meant to let him out, she didn’t mean to fall asleep. In which case she should have just taken the deal. But she thought she could fool the jury, I think.

No carpet was on the main level and they weren’t upstairs that night and the basement has had EVERYTHING replaced so the only carpet left that John would have been on was the carpet on the stairs that was on both sets of stairs most importantly the stairs going down into the basement. they really seems to believe he was attacked as soon as he walked into the house. but somehow ended up in the basement 🤷♀️
