    Nice and quick. Perfect. Thanks for not going in some joy ride of how each tool was made and the history of buying the car all the way up to discovering the pump issue, lol. WAY too many of those vids out there.

    My windshield washers weren’t working at all. So I watched this video, changed the washer pump and they are working again. Glad it was this and not the KBM module, thanks for the video.

    Great video thanks. Mine turned out to be a clogged filter that the motor clips into inside the screewash reservoir but this was a really helpful guide 👍

    I just loved the way you have shown how much we have been getting ripped off by the 'stealerships' I got charged almost $500 just to change the headlamp motor on my 645 ci! Bastads!!! Thank you for posting

    The windshield washer works. The rear window washer does not work at all (can't even hear the pump). But the wiper switches on. I'm asking for advice. Well thank you. It is on BMW5, E61, year 2010.

    Very good video-----do you know if there is a fuse for the washer pump or maybe it shares the fuse with the headlamp washer.

      I honestly don't know. Are you having problems with both?

      @@InTheGarageDIY Thanks for reply---its a friends car that I have to check out yet--he doesn't have a headlamp washer so don't know yet if its a leak, blown pump or whatever. More than likely its the same fuse as the headlamp washer.

      @@bmw-e30 ah, I see. I could tell mine was going out because the water pressure was so low it would hardly make it to the windscreen, then it stopped working. It's a cheap fix if it's just the pump. A fuse is even cheaper though ;)

      On the E61 Touring vehicle, the rear Washer Pump is located in the middle. The Part number is BMW Part No# 67128362154

    Where do you add wiper fluid on this specific vehicle?

      Just pop the hood open and it's there under your eyes. There's a long pipe that comes to that tank.

    Was the pump completely not working or was it low pressure?... Trying to find out why my washer spray is so weak

    • @InTheGarageDIY
      @InTheGarageDIY  5 лет назад +1

      It had low pressure for a bit first, then stopped working.

      I would say so. Check Pelican parts or ECS tuning to confirm that.
