- This game has amazing Steam reviews and it's incredibly fun.
The demo is available free on Steam and the full release comes out soon, so I'm hoping we get a better look at what the game has to offer next time.

my favorite build is the crossbow + burn damage + ice + splinter shot
when u kill one it starts a domino effect and it's so entertaining watching them all die
you can also get piercing so it affects more enemies

Yeah it's inspired by a lot of things i can see influence from darkwood and the reload bar is the reload bar from enter the gungeon as well as you described as the leveling system in vampire survivors which i too agree is a great thing
Vampire Survivors, as rudimentary as it looked has given rise to a new genre. As the first guy said, called a Bullet Heaven by Sifd (I primarily watch Sifd) it’s a time-limited upgrade-centric bullet-hell. It’s already been used for many other similar and good games like Brotato and this.

well the upgrade tree act similar to nova drift when you chose one upgrade on the second tier, you unlocked the last one (you don't need to get two 'second tier' at the same time)
Nova drift was a good game, wish they added more "base level" upgrades instead of having that wild card system or whatever it was called
The tree also stole a ton of upgrades from nova drift

@@braydonattoe2078 it's still in development. Theyve spebt the larger part of this last update completely overhauling how enemies function so they can add things like more Galaga-like patterns, new variants, adaptive spawning, and more.
Additional skill trees is not out of the question.

I’ve played that game on KBH before it came out and I know some really good combinations:
Splinter and shooting exploding enemies caused a massive wave of shrapnel that perpetually grows because whenever an enemy dies it splinters in to five bullets that do less damage and if you hit boom guy there is so much shrapnel it can take out an entire swarm if you combine that with reaper rounds it can take a dozens of enemies because the reaper rounds apply to the shrapnel
3. I’ve already talked about this a lot but in my opinion splinter is the most OVERPOWERED upgrade in the game as let’s say you got the freeze what DF didn’t realize is that the splinter also inflicting freeze causing entire swarms to freeze whether or not they were even near DFs bullets
Sadly it got nerfed in the final game pretty bad, but even then, it’s STILL extremely good, and still op with fire cannon!
@@mushmashtime I-I played it today, imma just say for the grenade launcher, the splinter also shoots out grenades, and the larger the bullet the bigger the boom, with the power tome my GL became a atomic bomb launcher

8:59 Is Fusillade a reference to Nova Drift? Because there's an upgrade in Nova Drift called Fusillade that also doubles projectiles.
...And the upgrade tree kind of looks inspired by Nova Drift.

The whole game is very heavily inspired by nova drift, if you look you can see that many trees or even names are the same as in nova drift, just slightly altered to fit the game more
Say the damage tree is just magnitude, then splinter and payload, the t3 upgrade isn't the same probably because charged shot isn't gonna work in a horde shooter
@@soccpuppet4638 Yeah, I realized after playing it myself. And got the impression that it's incorporating some of the best mechanics of lots of roguelites and improving on them. An orbital scythe reminds me of The Binding of Isaac, for example.
The upgrades in Minutes Til Dawn feel more satisfying than Nova Drift. I think a large part of that is how rare it is for an upgrade to have a downside or to be complicated with its math. I'm excited for the full release!

when I played this game my favourite build was flame cannon + splinter + reaper bullets + bouncy bullets. the whole screen is filled with fireballs and everything dies. and combining this with the final flame upgrade is pretty much infinite damage with wolverine like regen
combing this with tome of power and the final freeze upgrade and nothing stands a chance
It's a great game and the 20 minutes till dawn is coming up soon (tomorrow), can't wait to see you play that too! And hopefully more Vampire Survivors :< Oh and Spirit Hunters! And Nomad Survival! Okay, maybe a bit too much now...

Hey DF, I think your thing should be to go through overwhelmingly positive steam games and try them out and show us. I for one would like to watch a content creator that just plays the best games available and gives them some publicity. That would be helpful to me.
I don't think there's many "overwhelmingly positive" games that arent already really well known. It'd be much better if he found the gems that had the potential to be overwhelmingly positive but just don't have the publicity

but the full version has a lot more features more characters and guns and you have to survive for 20 minutes
i think its safe to say df is addicted and gonna do the full version next

Took me a couple hours to get my first clear, so your breezing through before you even know how the upgrade system works feels bad, man. Never bothered with freeze before, but it seems like that's pretty powerful. I realized way too late how essential movespeed is, especially right at the end. In fact, I think you need a couple movespeed buffs and/or the freeze, which serves a similar purpose. Great stuff, either way.
Either the freeze or the electric (forgot witch one) upgrade tree gives an upgrade where you can get hp back.

My favorite build in the game is the flamethrower thing and then upgrade to explosion on kills and then flames spread on kills and that by itself is just cool (I don't remember the specific perks cause brain no work)

I did not even know there is beta test and was playing with steam close so I still cannot join it. been playing 20hrs now

Another addictive game you could play is "They are coming"
Which is a zombie defending game... You have to get better weapons, make good combo's and build a better base. Each day you get more money but the health you lost and the items will remain lost. And here's the best thing about the game that makes it fun... You have to start over from scratch if you die (there is one item to prevent that but it's a late game one). For example i had a big base and good weapons but i got overwhelmed suddenly and died on day 71!
It also has a leaderboard that you can try to reach (you can do it if you're semi afk).
My current record is 78 so i challenge you to beat that

@@Xenonfuji I mean, if you've seen more than one video DF made, then you only have yourself to blame as everyone here knows pretty much what to expect from him - dumb choices, stubbornness, throwing money at problems and repeatedly making the same mistakes over and over again. And that's pretty much why so many people watch him - because in the end, he usually does pretty okay after finding a path for himself with that extremely dense head of his, and the wall does get broken, and everyone can feel a sense of accomplishment for wasting their time watching the video... before they realize it really wasn't that worth it. But then once DF uploads another video, they fall into the same trap, over and over again. It's like watching videos of dump people getting hurt - you just can't look away even though you know exactly what will happen. /s

Sadly it's not possible to get all the upgrades in one run. At least not in the demo. I tried it with wemod and the exp multiplier. At some point the game just nopes out because you get a level per 1 to 5 or so orbs
i dont know if its only me but df is hilarious whenever he's doing math he sounds like he's unsure.
Df i highly suggest playing the 20 minute one it is out and you can play it i believe you will love the new Weapons especially the shoty and the other characters

Vampire survivor is more like magic survival, this game has the same principle but the gameplay is pretty different because you have to aim yourself

Build Tip: *fire*
Fire Gun, Splinter, any character.
Literally, once you get Splinter, you will auto-kill 90% of enemies with no effort whatsoever and create endless fire EVERYWHERE.
Then you can go for anything, like the Fire tree for healing and more damage, freeze to make killing faster, piercing, boomerang, etc etc. Focus on avoiding and shooting once or twice to activate fire again and you'll be fine
I can't wait till the full version of this game comes out! can't wait to watch df play it when it does

i legit found a early game build (flamethower + the thing that make bullets explode and creat like 6 more idk) it just infinite kill with 1 shot its very fun to use :) nice vid tho
When your quality goes from 1080 P two 144 P and you start to think you need glasses.
run endless with bats and abby to right click bullethell, use projectile count to add damage stacks and use freeze to proc 15%-30% damage and 10%-30% on kill aoe, then take anything from bosses that give bonus ammo count or summon dmg, and stack with burn to heal on 0.05% per burn application which means almost instant heals as long as you're firing, then take 5% reload per kill as you will be doing alot of that and use curse to keep damage ramping up as you kill, and finally stack up on 33% to not use ammo while standing still+add ammo on pickup and you have nearly infinite freeze in an aoe in all directions almost all the time.
definately good game, need to cheese to play.
My build is usually shotgun with diamond for extra hp then you get quick hands so you can go down the path for extra bullets making it 4 then you get double shot then go to the one after with way more spread and way more bullets and it’s smooth sailing from there

Day 40 of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi idle tower defense game with a lot of depth p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise
