Dude 13 years ago this video got me past my biggest MH wall of all time, the village quest tigrex on MHFU. I think I failed 10 times before I watched this and then another 3-4 after, as I tried to get the timing down. More importantly, it sparked my love for monster hunter. Thanks for being the reason I fell in love with this series.

the things i remember differently when using these when fighting tiggy is: 1. when he is taunting: normal- a) charge on the head, b)same place when charging after he trips but begin charging GS during his first bite rage- same place as above but begin charge at the beginning of his roar 2. when he trips(normal): make sure you have the lvl1 charge done before he gets to the normal standing position aka the ready position note: always dodge to YOUR right great vid btw ^^ learned alot from you

In the video, he shows you what to do in rage mode! After he jumps twice he pauses. He also lists the required raw damage for each lvl of Tigrex (Village, Regular, G-quest, and Dual). If you use his strategy and just avoid being hit, you don't even need armor.
i just love tigrex simply because its the easiest monster to kill with a GS. oh so predictable btw thanx for the guide. saw this vid a few months ago and now Im a GS user for life
I must thank you for this guide. It has helped me a lot in getting used to how to fight tigrex. Thanks to this guide I almost always bring a GS for Tigrex. Even when not using a GS it's good to know when you have good openings to get some hits in.
G-rank is upper Guild quests. Basically when you get Hunter Rank 4+. To achieve this you need to go into Online mode, you can play it solo as well but you need to take out most of the minor ranked quests first.

Seigmund is a G-rank weapon only. Aside from a Monoblos Heart, you need a Rathalos Ruby, and six Los Car(a)pace which you can obtain from a G-rank Los.
the should only focus on the raw. as you can see on 00:28 - Chief - 718 raw Hard - 755 raw Grank - 956 raw (just use tactical blade (ravager blade path), has 960 raw) Duo - 898 raw with the red pincer, you are only able to do the chief one (except if you use attack booster like powercharm/talon and drug)
What i meant is that you use a flash bomb during its berserk mode because of its incredible speed and damage in G rank missions.You can use this opportunity to cause it double damage by hitting its head with GS(non-charged hits) whilst standing to the right of its head. When you're out of flash bombs use farcaster to evade further rage modes.
Dear 969820, To unlock Felyne Heroics, you need to hire a felyne who has that as one of it's whim skills (when you go to hire a felyne, it should have a little box under it's stats that tell you what it's skills are), and then cook food that fits it's area of expertise (fish, for instance.) Unfortunately, you can't just unlock with a food combo. Hope that helps!
3:11-3:15 that was awesome it was like you both tackled each other (even though tigrex did) what wasnt is that you got hit i only do the charges when he taunts, both rage and normal, and when he trips while charging and sometimes when he screams

so the three monster that on the Charge Guide are the easy 1 to charge at beside girl Rathalos and black kut-ku wel they are almost the they the same guide as the rathalos guide i use it on them and it work really good
i need help getting dragonwood gunlance...to get dragonwood, do i send the boat at the farm to the swamp or forest and hills...i remember the first time i got dragonwood, i got it from one of those..also where do i get firewyvern fluid..i have 7 but i dont know where i got it from...
tigrex has 1 hit follow-up berserk at 50% of its health and once more at 15% of its health. However, the beast takes double damage if you hit it whilst it is still in berserk mode. (You must use a flash bomb at this point).
hmm.... the 7th option, is it possible to measure it's distance with the spikes/teeth/detail of your sword to so that ull know when to start charging???
hey thanks! i dont use the GS, i prefer the LS but i had no idea what to do when Tigrex went in to rage mode! all i did was stay in another zone untill his rage mode turned off, where i'd then hit im once or twice and run back to the other zone..lol it didnt work out so well! now i know what to do when he goes rage!

were u able to finish it????? and i was able to do 5 out of 6 epic hunting quests in hr9, I just need to do the Hunter's Funeral quest ( the one that u mentioned) BTW the tigrex in the Diamond dust quest has a high stagger limit, even If I was able to land a full charge on the head with the king artillart sword and the skills sharpness +1 and art of unsheating it still didn't flinch

Thanks for the tip...I've been trying to get the Tigrex skull shell to complete my Tirgrex armor...this really helps.

because of that guide i finally have done dual tigrex g-rank

I see your timing instruction applies to the rex in normal mode, how about the timing in rage mode ? (moves faster with a softer head)
