I am a man who has had sexual desires for other men instead of women since I hit puberty. However, I have always known that as a man, I was inherently designed for sex with a woman. I believe that my lack of attraction to women was a product of trauma and harmful messages given to me, particularly messages about sex and relationships. I am currently in the process of healing, and I hope to marry a woman I love and find sexually attractive.

I would say, everyone felt this way, just never as strong, it would be mostly a thought, and not actually going out and doing it. Just need to learn to control yourself I guess. Many of the people who support Pride, usually don't think properly, they would rather follow lies, just to feel happy.
Maybe someday they'll understand the truth. Your feelings always change, but the truth never does. You can never change the laws of the Universe just because you don't feel good. All thr LGBTQ people do, is put on an act, and artificially change themselves. They do it mostly because the majority allows it.
If we would have put boundaries on this stuff, we wouldn't have all these Pride parades and events all over the country. It is embarrassing when you look at what we do, as our species, it's disappointing to see that.
The obvious. In a world where the church has gone silent (mostly so called Godly men). He is one of the brave pastor's out there preaching truth. There is a lot of watered down religion nowadays. Pastor Jack Hibbs, Amir Tsarfati, Pastor Gary Hamrick, and Pastor Greg Laurie are just a few others I hold in high regard.
We must continue to preach Truth - in 2008, I was a gay-identified man, in a committed, monogamous same-sex relationship, active in an affirming church, where we called ourselves gay Christians. Then I found myself in an ICU where the medical team classified me clinically dead after a 22-minute flatline. I experienced death, judgement and hell. When I couldn’t take any more demonic torment, I cried out in repentance, “Jesus!” and I heard the Savior say, “I am here.” At that moment, I saw with my eyes the Wind of the Holy Spirit fill myself ICU and with great power, He pick up Satan and the demonic and blew them out of the room. On that day, my life changed, the redemptive Blood of Jesus cleared my mind of perversion and completely healed and restored every failing organ. Glory to God!

You'll see the same thing when Moses was on top of the mountain with God with the 10 commandments, but down below the people still created a golden calf fully knowing that the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob was the true God. So people tend to want to paint their version of God even though the True God Reigns and Rules.We are going to sin until we die, but the hope is if we have Christ...we will change our nature and overtime grow in God's truth so that one day we will be with Him forever. Its never good to sin, but Thank the Lord that he died on the Cross for us so we can be cleansed.

In 2008, the APA published an article titled “Understanding sexual orientation and homosexuality”, in which it specifically stated “most people experience little or no sense of choice about their sexual orientation.”
In 2016, the journal Psychological Science in the Public Interest published a study titled “Sexual Orientation, Controversy, and Science”. Their findings suggested that “there is considerably more evidence supporting nonsocial causes of sexual orientation than social causes” and “[t]here is no good evidence that either [contagion or social tolerance] increases the rate of homosexual orientation”.
As recently as 2019, the NIH published a study titled “Neurobiology of gender identity and sexual orientation”. Their conclusion was “both gender identity and sexual orientation are significantly influenced by events occurring during the early developmental period when the brain is differentiating under the influence of gonadal steroid hormones, genes and maternal factors.”
In opposition to what we have learned from qualified scientists who have thoroughly researched sexual orientation and published peer-reviewed studies we have pastors like Mark Driscoll redefining words like “natural” in order to marginalize people who believe and behave differently than himself. What is his evidence? A letter written by Paul in the 1st century CE and a philosophical argument made by Thomas Aquinas in the 13th century CE.
Individuals born with different sexual orientations than our own, who express their love for one another responsibly and respectfully, pose no threat to anyone. Their thoughts, emotions, and actions are not evil or destructive. However, attempting to convince them that something is fundamentally wrong with who and what they are is evil and destructive. The article and studies I’ve cited above explore that consequence to some degree. I would encourage anyone reading this to research this topic beyond what I have shared. There is an abundance of information available.
Mark was correct when he said “You can’t believe the Word and the world.” One presents reasonable evidence that can be demonstrated and one presents questionable claims that cannot. The question is, which is which?

If being gay is a choice, it stands to reason that being straight is a choice. Can anyone here please tell me about the moment you chose to be a heterosexual? When did you look at either men or women and make a conscious decision to prefer the company of one over the other?
I remember being about 5 years old and thinking I kinda liked pretty girls. I'm straight by the way.
You don’t have to do anything, it’s like floating down a river, throwing a bowling ball off a building and watching it go down, taking your next breath or wanting something to eat. It’s built into the rhythm of life by the creator. To try and swim upstream, launch the bowling ball upward, or go on a hunger strike or decide to pursue the same sex takes conscious, willful, and unnatural effort. That said, why people choose that are often difficult reasons such as trauma, wounds, lack of acceptance, and we should care and grieve for these people and hope they can become unburdened from this ordeal. We all have sin and we all need a savior. Confessing that sin and repentance is the starting point to being set free, no matter what it is.

I am masculine, and I like the same things that most straight men likes. I like to go fishing, I like cars, my apartment looks masculine, I talk masculine, I walk masculine, I dress masculine. There is no different on me and my straight friends other than I feel attracted to same the sex, while they feel attracted to opposite the sex. I am a man, and I don't wanna be a woman, I like beeing a man
I am against the fact that people can change gender, this is because most of them regret, but I have nothing about feminine men, that should absolutely be no problem.
When I was a student there was even a feminine boy in my class, but he was crazy after girls, he even took a lie detector test just to prove he was straight, because he was sick of people calling him gay, while when it comes to me people think I am joking when I say I am gay because I "looks too straight to be gay😂", I hate generalisation, I have very rarely see a feminine gay in real life, mostly just on reality shows and in the news when they interview people at pride parade, I have in fact never been in a pride parade. In norway there are 5.457 million innhabitants, 7% are LGBT, wich means 381 990 people.
there are only a few thousand who annually participate in the Pride parade each year, of these over half are heterosexual people who support LGBT (straight allies), so this shows that most gay people do not care about participating in pride

Well guess what. Nobody is born a Christian (or Jewish,or Muslim) either. There is not a "Christian" gene. People become adherents to a religion by being taught (in this context, "indoctrinated" is literally the correct word) to believe certain things and by living in families and communities that support (or sometimes coerce) a person into adopting a belief system and an approved set of behaviors. Ultimately, being a Christian or belonging to any other religious community is a choice, Because these beliefs and behaviors become central to who a person is, in this country we say this is a choice that must be respected, and that the government cannot favor one belief system over another. Who one loves or is sexually attracted to is likewise central to who they are as a person, even if a choice that is not genetically determined. The case for respecting the legal and social rights of LGBT folks is essentially identical to the case for religious freedom.

I wish I kept the article but back in 2011 I was reading psychology today and Newsweek and the articles said that genetic research indicated no genetic markers for women and for men there seemed to be a larger group among those with genetic abnormalities in sequence 457 I believe but this is such a large sequence generally associated with many other genetic disabilities. The article then said that most scientists had given up on finding a genetic link and were starting to look at epigenetics. One of the biggest proof against it being genetic are twins where one is homosexual and the other is not.

People will search long and hard to support this theory that this is not a choice, when it fact, it 100% is a choice.
I would say, if you start feeling homosexual desires, then you need to defeat that temptation and get away from it. Don't follow your unnatural desires, I can guarantee you it's not worth it. Being gay is pure choice, especially when they support that "My body, my choice" stuff... and then at this point they are just contradicting themselves.
At the end of the day, they don't care what is true and what is a lie, all they care about is their feelings. Selfish people, going after pride, and not after control. They NEED to learn how to control themselves, that goes for all the pride people.

But He gave us a will and desires of our own, that we can choose to do what He desires or to not do as He would desire. When we don't do as God desires, that's against His desires for us (offensive). But that does not make God any lesser of a being or any less perfect because He chooses to give us the ability to something contrary to His desires. Don't worry, no one is getting away with anything, God will one day use his power to punish all that go against His desires. Every knee will eventually bow to Him again, whether they desire to or not. God still wins. No one makes a fool of Him.

@@pf4005 Thank you for seeing things from my perspective, at least for the sake of argument. That's much more than most people will do, no matter what they believe.
Even though I've been an atheist all my life, I see Christianity and the Bible as more complex than sin just being true or not, in the same way that understanding the legal system requires a look at both the letter and the spirit of the law. How was something written in the bible intended? How much, if anything, was lost in translation? What, if anything, is unforgivable, where sin is concerned? I've talked to thousands of believers, and interpretation of the bible or the quran is rarely straight-forward. The more in-depth someone tends to get in their study of the spirit of God's law, not just the letter, the more they're willing to consider nuance and context, instead of just black and white, good or bad, yes or no.
On its face, if sin exists then a personal creator exists, that's a fair dichotomy. But what constitutes sin, considering the 613 commandments of the OT vs. the new covenant with Jesus? That's where the morality of homosexuality lies, in my view. It's not as easy as saying it was condemned in the old testament and therefore it's categorically immoral, sinful.
If people are not born sinners and or gay, then why do they need to be born again? Can you please answer that?

I think there is a lot of confusion around this. I would be willing to bet that a boy/man can be born gay. I'll give you an example: I grew up with a couple families with three boys each. In both of these families, the first two boys were straight, and the third boy was gay. This trend is the same as my distant family of third cousins. The first two boys are straight, and the youngest boy is gay. If I had to guess it probably has something to do with the level of testosterone the mother has when developing the baby. By the time she gets to the third boy, her testosterone levels are depleted, but the baby still splits off into an XY chromosome, and a gay baby is born. I truly believe there are a lot of gay people out there who legitimately are gay, and no amount of prayer is going to fix it. That being said, I also think there are a good amount of people, who are either confused took hormone-altering drugs, and ended up going down a path of depression and despair. Equally, I think there are attention-seeking people who pretend to be gay because it's "trendy".

One can, and should, be aggrieved at Alcoholism. Hating the alcoholic is not helping. What will, is encouraging the alcoholic to find ways to avoid lapsing into drunkenness. The condition or situation a person is in is not a sin. Yielding to temptation to go against the will of God is a sin. Hating a person who struggles with a situation or condition is also a sin.
