Cottage industries that focuses on handcrafted equipments are there, folk music of bihar is very very catchy but they choose to make it vulgar, this can be changed too. Lastly i think this adjustment mentality needs to go away. Change needs to happen and it needs to happen now, or else you won't be able to collectively feel proud about what you are.
Yes, there are definitely ways to develop Bihar, but the real issue is with those who have the power to execute these plans. They don't seem to have any intention in fixing the problems.
Bihar has potential in cottage industries, but the problem is lack of infrastructure, proper market links, and investment. The artists don't receive the support they need in technology and market access. So they are left with limited scale and can't compete with larger manufacturers from other regions.
for example: Take Fox Nut (Makhana). Bihar accounts for nearly 90% of the total production in India. So, This is a huge opportunity for Bihar to make profits if they focus on exporting this product with right policies, branding and global market reach.
And most importantly education. The education system in Bihar needs immediate reforms, but unfortunately, the government doesn't seem to show any real intention of improving it.
In short, the ways to development is there, but the intention to execute that needs to come from those in charge.
