Indians are not racist. Truth is we all are countries base on location, language and different cultures and way of living and behaving in public... That would solve everybody's problem in India I think.
This is what happens when North Indians don’t accept English as the common link language. All Indians should put effort into learning a neutral language like English. Hi I’m Shalini’s from Bangalore So I can tell the situation here in Bangalore. I don’t know about other states like Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh, because I don’t not a resident there So it comes to Bangalore\ Karnataka ,It is becoming such a big issue because of few people from up north from past state have come here. Which we had been tolerating for really long. And didn’t make a big issue out of it, but when things went overboard, everyone started reacting to it in which led to a bit cold war To be honest, Bangalore is a place where there are a lot of people from different religions, different states, different communities and they stay happy In fact, most of my friends are Jain’s , whose families are from north we don’t have a problem with someone’s state or colour or religion or community. The problem is when you come here. Try to a little bit about our culture community. Our state also most of the north Indians stay in Karnataka. I've been living in Chennai for the past 12 years as a North Indian, and from my experience, the blame for racism often falls on South Indians. However, I've found that North Indians tend to be more responsible for certain forms of racism. For instance, they were the ones who popularized using slurs like "Madrasi" for South Indians and calling people from the Northeast "Chinese." That said, I'm not trying to defend South Indians, as they are also racist, sometimes by imposing their language on others. Ultimately, every Indian should respect one another, regardless of region or language. After all, we are all Indians, and more importantly, Sanatanis. Edit:- Bollywood has played a significant role in spreading stereotypes and perpetuating racism, particularly against South Indians. They were among the first to make fun of South Indian accents and portray South Indians in a negative light. This issue is not limited to South Indians; Bollywood has a history of mocking various religions and cultures, including Sanatan Dharma. It's rare to see a pandit portrayed positively in their films. Moreover, Sikhs are often depicted as mentally unstable or caricatures, reinforcing harmful stereotypes. It's important to recognize that these false narratives are propagated by Bollywood, not North Indians as a whole.

I'm from Karnataka, and i watch your videos too. I've been to meny noth Indian palace, but never complained that they didn't speak kannada, Instead i tried to learn there language or tried something which helped both of us to understand each other. The problem is with people who are living /settled in bangalore for meny years. And accept the local people to learn the language they know, it is simple, be a roman when you are in Rome. Nobody said don't speak other languages, they said that Kannada is our mother tongue & bangalore is our state capital. If we don't communicate in our state language in our own state capital then where can we use it..? When I'm in Tamil Nadu i try to communicate in Tamil (may be not perfect, but i still try) i never complain that just because I'm in Tamilnadu, they need to learn my language. You are better than this, even here I'm using English because we both are trying to communicate & find a common ground. It is very simple, we are kannadigas, we respect all, but we love kannada. In karnataka we speak kannada & in other places we try to speak their local language as we Recognise & respect their love about their own culture.
Im from Tamil Nadu. Both my parents r from Karnataka n tamilnadu. I know both tamil n hindhi. It is not true that all TN ppl are like we hate North Indians, in our 18 floor building itself 20% ppl r north Indians n my father have always told positive about them. But what i feel the sad thing is north indians must also respect the south, for ex: my family watches a famous comedy show tmkoc as my family knows Hindi n we love it, but as i see in iyer's character there is a stereotype that tamilnadu ppl are all black n jethalal always trying to flirt with babita n iyer is one of the most disrespected as a character in tmkoc. This rly boil my blood. Otherwise for me i don't differentiate from which place ur from. Long live India🇮🇳🇮🇳
Sterotyping is the problem. And it all begins with the type of content we consume. I ordered a gaming pc from a south indian pc firm. They were shocked that a guy living in tier 3 north indian city with no industry could afford such a machine. South Indians are usually familiar with delhi/mumbai and really think that whole of north india is ****hole place. I mean even my village which is 12kms from my tier 3 city has 24hrs electricity, 24 hrs tap water and good clean roads. This year we encountered problems with my intel i9 13900k. The issue was a manufacturing defect from intel(yes, the same one which everyone encountered this year which inevitably crashed intel stocks). My vendor from south india was kind enough to send me an engineer and a free cpu replacement. The guys were shocked that such a small city with no metro and airport and zero industry could be so clean (there are obvious dumping places which need some work and i will not defend what's bad because acknowledging the issue is the first step to solve the issue) and were kind of shocked. It almost felt like they were expecting filth, litter and cow dung throughout the place with no proper sewage and no roads. They ofcourse exist in north india but most of north india is quite beautiful. It's almost as beautiful as south india during monsoons. But i have hope. I have seen the change in north india in last 10 years. I am seeing changes that were unimaginable just few years ago. Dude people in my city are following traffic lights :D And my whole city has just 1 junction where we have traffic lights, it's that small haha :D :D BTW i have visited karnataka (Banglore) twice, Amazing place, amazing people. Sometimes i forgot to speak in english and hindi automatically came out of my mouth but i encountered zero problems. Everyone was kind enough to respond in their broken hindi. We indians need to travel more within india to realize all the hate we see on social media actually does not exist on the ground.
I am Marathi, and I see a lot of people coming here from different states speaking in Hindi. There's nothing wrong with that, but when I see those people rudely demanding that locals speak in Hindi because they can't understand Marathi, it bothers me. They've been living here for 12-15 years, yet they haven't felt the need to learn Marathi or make an effort to speak even basic Marathi. Marathi representation in Bollywood also fuels this. Once, I saw a web series or movie-I don't remember exactly-where a housemaid was shown as Marathi. Because of this, many Hindi-speaking people look down on Marathi people and disrespect our language and culture. Some Marathi people don't even speak Marathi, even when they know the other person speaks the language. It has made some people insecure about their language and heritage, and it's so disheartening to see.

First of all, congratulations to us. Marathi and Assamese have been included as classical language. But whatever you have mentioned, same situation prevails in Assam brother. Some people who studied in english medium are ashamed to speak in Assamese. While non Assamese don't even bother to learn Assamese or Bodo or karbi. Hindi technically was imposed by people belonging to other states. Nothing wrong with hindi, but we have to respect other 21 scheduled languages and english also.

i am from Karnataka and i love all languages , the thing is people here r offended by other language people's arrogance of "why i should learn kannada", people here don't want u to master and become a poet in kannada, they just want to respect and learn a bit of kannada or at least try to learn it without arrogance.
I'm a kannadiga, we are asking not other people to learn and talk in kannada, we are expecting atleast other state people to make an effort to speak a little in kannada. Because a lot of people of other states live in Karnataka quite a long time (5-10 years). Even after staying here for the longer time they don't even bother about to try talking in the local language. For example if I go to Mumbai and start communicate with a rishwala in kannada or English he won't be understand same as even in Karnataka local illiterate people don't know to speak in Hindi or English so what's wrong in learning atleast basic words in kannada to the purpose of communication. They want the weather, water, work, companies, comfortable life but why this much of negligence when it comes to language. States like Andra Tamilnadu give lots of preference to their own culture and language. The same as we are also asking give some respect to the local language and local culture what's wrong with that...?
brother I am from Bihar and I am not living in karanataka but let me tell you my perception, it's not that people hate kannada language but thing is Kannada is a totally different language which is not at all Easy to speak or even Understand for a Hindi region person and as they have options that they can communicate without kannada that's why they don't give themselves any stress to learn the language, secondary you were talking about Mumbai brother Marathi is so much closer to Hindi that's why people understand and try to speak, Neither we hate Marathi or Kannada or any other language but when People from Different States have to leave their own state because of job and unemployment issues they are already struggling in life please don't make them to struggle more and if they are earning there then they are also contributing there it's not always one side
This video is jst referring to a guy like u who have a narrow minded like u,, who except us to learn kanada... Y should we learn ur language if we can speak hindi and english
It's not about basic words person living there from 5 years will know some basic words but if there's a way which is familiar to both sides what is the problem you saw in every video clip that those forcing the language were telling in english and hindi so it means they too speak other language and you're also using English to write this comment but according to your logic India should have thrown away english language right? But south of india is very fluent in English more than any many north of indian states and brother overall India respects Tamil kannada Marathi telugu very much as they are very ancient and sacred and very close to Sanskrit even one of the oldest language to exist on earth respecting something doesn't mean it has to become part of their life people who migrate to other states already have many problems....

This is what happens when North Indians don’t accept English as the common link language. All Indians should put effort into learning a neutral language like English. I call English a neutral language because as per Naturalization process of India, a foreigner cannot get Indian citizenship with learning just English but also needs to learn any one language like Telugu, hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, etc

Why to force us to learn a foreign language of those who had ruled us instead we should accept HINDI as a National LANGUAGE because first of all its our indian language (not a foreign one) and secondly it is widely spoken in india by more than half population.

Hi
I’m Shalini’s from Bangalore
So I can tell the situation here in Bangalore. I don’t know about other states like Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh, because I don’t not a resident there
So it comes to Bangalore\ Karnataka ,It is becoming such a big issue because of few people from up north from past state have come here. I’m not put any efforts in understanding the people, knowing the language or culture without knowing anything of the language of culture. They pass few rude comments. Which we had been tolerating for really long.
And didn’t make a big issue out of it, but when things went overboard, everyone started reacting to it in which led to a bit cold war
To be honest, Bangalore is a place where there are a lot of people from different religions, different states, different communities and they stay happy
In fact, most of my friends are Jain’s , whose families are from north
we don’t have a problem with someone’s state or colour or religion or community. The problem is when you come here. Try to a little bit about our culture community. Our state also most of the north Indians stay in Karnataka. Don’t even realise Kannada is a language that is spoken in our state and Kannadiga. Are the people were native to the state and they passed such rude comments on us to be honest. I’m not a Canada. I am also come here only because my family had to migrate for work and for my education. I am from a ruler place in Andhra, but I have got so much love from the people here that I would love to myself for kannadiga today. All that people expect from here, others who come to the state for jobs or for studies or for start to put some efforts to know our state because we put a lot of efforts to know your language and to communicate with you in your language. A lot of South Indians know how to speak Marwadi Gujarati Punjabi and obviously Hindi when we can put efforts to learn your language, you can put some efforts to learn also, and I feel you can never clap with one hand. Whatever you see right now social media where Kanaka’s are asking not Indians to leave the state. All of that is a reaction to what north Indians had come to Bangalore or come to Karnataka, what they did to the local people here .
man in mumbai it is hard for marathis to learn hindi but we do and because of mumbai speaking hindi and flurishing its own culture maharashtrian culture is being flurished in every state and obviously the people from north and south or east or west celebrate there own culture like i remember i know bengali navratri is being celebrated in dadar and andhras doll festival is celebrated in colaba i love both
but we dont like muslims bcs of their past actions in 90s
Hindi speaking people also know Punjabi Rajasthani gujrati haryanvi because they are somewhat similar but Dravidian languages are very complex to learn and there is an official language of India English which can be used by both different language speakers but kannada PPL are saying in English that no hindi no English only kannada that's very racist.

@@Sneha0541 NOT AT ANY COST . I M ALSO FROM PATNA BUT I LOVE MY INDIA MORE THAN ANY THING ELSE.

@tathaastu 💯 TRUE
That's what implies to you as well. South Indian think that hindi will easily overlap their state language. But they are ok with their kids speaking English better but not hindi. India has largely hindi speaking population and a lot of resources to easily graspe Hindi. So technically easier for south Indian to adapt to hindi rather than north India to southern launguage. South Indian language are very hard to learn and speak both bcoz of lack of resources and its tough intonations and orientations.

I'm from Karnataka, and i watch your videos too.
I've been to meny noth Indian palace, but never complained that they didn't speak kannada,
Instead i tried to learn there language or tried something which helped both of us to understand each other.
Dude people in my city are following traffic lights :D And my whole city has just 1 junction where we have traffic lights, it's that small haha :D :D
BTW i have visited karnataka (Banglore) twice, Amazing place, amazing people.

Rightly said.
