I'm from Kanpur Nagar( Manchester of the North). This city is much more capable than what it is now, because of Lucknow(our capital city) it doesn't get much importance. No hatred for Lucknow and its people.
I am also from kanpur... Most of the factories here are outdated or shut down... Kanpur needs a major revamp... Plus people to understand cleanliness is very important... Probably kanpur is one of the dirtiest city in the country.

I am from Gonda district of eastern UP which is a neighbouring district of Ayodhya Basti Balrampur Bahraich Barabanki but I can clearly see how the politicians here are not paying attention to development There are no basic facilities here, no university, no factories. The youth here are forced to migrate to Delhi and West UP.

I have high hopes from UP-SCR(Uttar Pradesh's-State Capital Region) development. If Central Uttar Pradesh (Awadh region) is developed, it will not only improve the standard of living of millions of people, but we can also nullify this East-West divide hypothesis. Dividing Uttar Pradesh would also mean that the natural resources of the state would also be divided and this would hamper the economic progress of the state in the long run.

I am from kushinagar eastern UP and i want to say that eastern UP is also improving now especially in terms of education for last few years and we must understand that eastern up is near bihar (your surroundings also matter ) while western up is near delhi which is one of the biggest reason for difference and also at the time of independence both parts were almost equally developed and politicians are also responsible for this difference. And the pan eating is not everywhere in Eastern up its mainly in Banaras and gundaraj is everywhere in up not only in Eastern up thats the fact and yes i accept the fact that in Eastern up people give vote on the basis of caste but that does not mean Western people don't do so.... And the way you western guys are shameless on Easter up and saying that you are completely different from eastern up just bcoz west part is more developed today instead you guys should show support eastern part for its development and give your thoughts why east is less developed and its loopholes .. When i was in college, I have met some really nice people and some not so nice from east and other regions of UP. You can't take social media seriously. Most of the people here are keyboard warriors. I would disagree with you on one thing regarding govt spending money in west UP. I can't say about entire west UP but certainly for ghaziabad. Here Most of the development is due to private players investment and not due to the state govt. We have good private colleges and not one decent govt college just to give you one example.
You're saying this because you're from East UP. The thing is not about development but also about our culture the differences in language, the different ethnic identity. When people say UP-Bihar it boils my blood because we people of West UP has nothing in common w East UP or Bihar. We are unnecessarily stereotyped and judged because of people of East UP. I am from prayagraj and I can say prayagraj is more developed than many west up districts but its true that majority of east up districts are underdeveloped and backward
East UP mein mainly following reasons hai 1) NEPOTISM: they always promote apne bete - bhaai 2) APPROACH: they are not ready to change the way they take things , always believe in doing govt. job or else they run towards metropolitan cities like delhi , mumbai , but are not ready to take the risk for private jobs or business ( AKA hard work ) 3) They never think of others especially as a community. Always provide benefits to their loved ones in place of the deserving one . 4) Western UP is developed because we always chose the hard work (comes into business even if had to take a bank loan) and think of our community we don't think of just us and our blood relatives we think and work for whole of our neighbourhood and always stand aganist every goons not like eastern up where you people carry fear of goons/ mafia and dont dare to stand aganist them 😤 In Western UP people always chose the righteous leader over "neta ka beta neta" 🙄

I have high hopes from UP-SCR(Uttar Pradesh's-State Capital Region) development. If Central Uttar Pradesh (Awadh region) is developed, it will not only improve the standard of living of millions of people, but we can also nullify this East-West divide hypothesis. Dividing Uttar Pradesh would also mean that the natural resources of the state would also be divided and this would hamper the economic progress of the state in the long run.

I am from kushinagar eastern UP and i want to say that eastern UP is also improving now especially in terms of education for last few years and we must understand that eastern up is near bihar (your surroundings also matter ) while western up is near delhi which is one of the biggest reason for difference and also at the time of independence both parts were almost equally developed and politicians are also responsible for this difference.
And the pan eating is not everywhere in Eastern up its mainly in Banaras and gundaraj is everywhere in up not only in Eastern up thats the fact and yes i accept the fact that in Eastern up people give vote on the basis of caste but that does not mean Western people don't do so....
And the way you western guys are shameless on Easter up and saying that you are completely different from eastern up just bcoz west part is more developed today instead you guys should show support eastern part for its development and give your thoughts why east is less developed and its loopholes ..

I am grom Gorakhpur and thanks for this video adarsh it was really helpful....i have seen people in comments now divided between east UP and west UP.I request can we please stop this fight...We need to grow india as a whole and not as UPite or west up or east up...i can understand the feelings of west UP people they are also right that they contribute so much to state's GDP but purvanchal region gets more funds from government...guys most of the development is happening in west up only...and east up was rich but politicians and goons ruined the richness of this place and most of the investments before happened in west UP only not in east UP...till the time the government will not focus on the weak regions how will it griw... thankfully now under yogi government the purvanchal region specially gorakhpur is developing....and its true the culture and language of purvanchal is slightly similar to bihar....as people from bihar migrate to east UP a lot....and its not something bad...I wish and hope that we develop as a nation and dont have disparities amongst each other....East UP people are very soft spoken I request none of the Purvanchal region people to abuse people who are calling us names...its better if we focus on our development rather than replying people in comments...when we will become strong and independent no one will be able to point us out and then we can help our neighbouring regions and states to become better

When i was in college, I have met some really nice people and some not so nice from east and other regions of UP. You can't take social media seriously. Most of the people here are keyboard warriors. I would disagree with you on one thing regarding govt spending money in west UP. I can't say about entire west UP but certainly for ghaziabad. Here Most of the development is due to private players investment and not due to the state govt. We have good private colleges and not one decent govt college just to give you one example.

I am from prayagraj and I can say prayagraj is more developed than many west up districts but its true that majority of east up districts are underdeveloped and backward
East UP mein mainly following reasons hai
1) NEPOTISM: they always promote apne bete - bhaai
2) APPROACH: they are not ready to change the way they take things , always believe in doing govt. job or else they run towards metropolitan cities like delhi , mumbai , but are not ready to take the risk for private jobs or business ( AKA hard work )
3) They never think of others especially as a community. Always provide benefits to their loved ones in place of the deserving one .
4) Western UP is developed because we always chose the hard work (comes into business even if had to take a bank loan) and think of our community we don't think of just us and our blood relatives we think and work for whole of our neighbourhood and always stand aganist every goons not like eastern up where you people carry fear of goons/ mafia and dont dare to stand aganist them 😤
In Western UP people always chose the righteous leader over "neta ka beta neta" 🙄
