It's hilarious to me how we pass from realistic godzilla, to cartoony cardboard godzilla
The Wii version is still my favorite, I didn't like the motion controls but I got so used to it as a kid I got good enough to break the game at times LOL. My brother mostly chose it because it had more monsters but If you want to play that version on PC there's a guy who made the Overhaul mod and not only does it make them game look better but also plays good enough on a keyboard that I had endless amounts of fun for several hours. He's also working on a modded version of STE Melee and it looks awesome.
Godzilla Unleashed among other PS2 Godzilla games made AVGN scream "F__k" from the bottom of his heart, because he realized he was born too early to grow up with decent Godzilla games!
This one was my favorite out of the godzilla games I never had a problem with the Wii controls it kinda surprised me after coming online and seeing how many people had issues with it

Wow. I'm shocked at how much worse the PS2 version looks compared to the Wii. I thought it would look the same but with 4:3 aspect ratio.

Are you blind? The Wii looks like trsh in comparison to the Ps2 version Lol. With horrible textures, and you cant even see the horizon background

@@olliejabooty6777 all the Wii Version needs is the contrast to even out, I started playing it again recently & it has Me standing up for like 30 minutes it’s fun after some time i play it later.
@@frenzyf0k148 Funny u say tht when the devs mentioned how they neglected the other versions tht werent Wii bc of a short deadline.
Reason the PS2 is missing alot of fx, monsters, lack of certain cinematics, animations, no minigames, unstable performance, etc.

The Nintendo DS is my favorite hand held gaming console. But clearly the two console versions are better.
If you think about it, Godzilla Unleashed Double Smash looks like Godzilla: Monster of Monsters but with better graphics and more kaiju.
The Wii version of this game is my favorite. The kaiju model's are way better. The game has way more monsters then the other 2 versions, and yes I know it has motion controls, but you get used to it when you play it long enough. I also do knew that it does not have the animated cut scenes such as from Godzilla save the earth, and instead just uses concept art, but as a kid and even now I don't care. I just like being any of the Toho monsters and just beating up other kaijus or destroying a city. I never played the PS2 version, but I have played the DS and oh man that one sucks ass! When I saw stuff for Godzilla unleashed and then I heard that they made a DS game for it. I thought oh I can play Godzilla unleashed on my hand-held on the go. Well I was disappointed, and I know I'm not the only one. I also never played Godzila Destroy All Monsters melee, or Godzilla Save The Earth, but I should.

I gotta stick with Wii, even though the controller is way better, I still rather get something new. PS2 is just Save The Earth with less maps, worse models, no minigames (I don't care for this one), bad frame rate, and new characters that isn't even new (Obsidous is just Orga with a irrelevent weakness and fire breath, and a ugly looking Battra who's just Mothra, except with lasers). But unlike Save The Earth, it has a story mode, and proper team battles. But even then, I don't think this justify on picking PS2. So if you want Godzilla Unleashed on PS2, just stick with Godzilla Save The Earth. Also, why the heck isn't Biollante on the PS2 version, they had the model finished, rage attacks weren't here, and they even got the license to add her this time.
