Timoteo's Second Life

Timoteo Dicen, 55, survived a vehicular accident in 2020 but lost his wife and his right leg. Four years later, cataracts developed in his right eye. He visited the Tzu Chi Eye Center for treatment. In addition to helping him undergo cataract surgery, Tzu Chi volunteers also sought help from the Rotary Club of Forbes Park, which readily committed to sponsor Timoteo's prosthetic leg. Now, with restored eyesight and empowered by his new leg, Timoteo is determined to seize his second chance to live.
