Thank you for this video. You're post have all been very helpful to me. I have M.E/CFS, and tho my circumstances are different from yours, you help to open my eyes to the kinds of possibilities that are out there. You're earlier videos have been great for helping me to understand and accept life with M.E/CFS, so thank you again for the efforts you are making.
I only get standard mobility at the moment. I know I should be entitled enhanced. But I'm scared of doing a change of circumstances with my pip. I really do need a mobility car or scooter. I cannot self-fund, sadly as I'm only on esa/pip. So most of the time, I'm household. When I do go outside of my home, I mostly rely on carers/my family to drive me places. Social services wasn't interested in properly helping me, either. The system sucks.
I only get standard mobility PIP, so I self fund my own car, and at the moment, have self funded a mobility scooter hire to see how I get on with it. I wish the mobility scheme could be given outside of PIP like the blue badge so its a bit more flexible.
I just read that in 2025 there will no longer be an acquirement to make the upfront payment. Also, FYI, the £750 credit isn't only if it's your first car. I have 3 cars now. Also, each time I have extended the 3 year lease, once up to one year.
Hi, Here is the link to the motability cars. They have loads to chose from. www.motability.co.uk. Also, you can add two additional drivers on the car, and they don't need to live with you. Another good thing, is your insurance, breakdown, repairs, is all included.
Can you get any mobility aid through Motability? I'm looking to buy a Mountain Trike (electric powered outdoor wheelchair) but it's so expensive - 13K!!!
I wish we had this in the US!
Your presidents are funding Israel $3 billion every year. You can't even get free healthcare in USA.

@@silvermoonuk why are you scared? If you have additional problems that may change your award to enhanced then I’d go for it.
@@Isobel201 Probably because going through a change in circumstances can lead to a lower award 😒
You should do it. And never give up. Don't make it easy for them to turn you down.
im only on enhanced daily im doing change once have problems and can show why should they reduce
I definitely wish we had PIP or a lot of the better healthcare options from the UK or Europe in the US
PIP is good to have in the UK, but healthcare where I live here is terrible. I would rather have to make payments in the US and have better care.
@@angelrose7906true say I agree with you and I am from England

You don’t need pip to get a blue badge
@ I wasn’t saying that, I was saying that you can get a blue badge from the council without PIP
Nice presentation ❤
Thank you 😊

If it's your first car on the scheme, the new vehicle payment ends tomorrow
