I enjoyed this video very much, but I do have to ask - why did you cut away not once, but twice to a painting of Queen Elizabeth I’s coronation procession while talking about Prince Albert?

last month I visited Windsor Castle with my Dad. I loved the displays of Medieval weapons and suits of plate armour that was on display. while walking around I couldn't help imagine
Victoria and Albert walking in front of us. we also went inside St George's chapel to light a candle for my Grandmother who had passed away in June 2022 during our late Queen's 70th event

i can relate to this even if im not a queen.. but my beloved love of my life died same age as Albert to a pancreatic cancer, the road of grief is been very long, its been 6yrs and i havent even been with anyone ever since. i know how it feels,no one can compair to this person so why even bother to look for another one. That is kind of love you dont just replace.

My deepest condolences. My heart aches for you. Your attitude reminds me of my late mother. My dad died when my mum was 52 and when she died at 83 she had never so much as looked at another man and she always said why hen you have had perfection would you settle for second best. My dad was the love of her life. I feel the same, my husband who is my soulmate I’d very ill and I will follow him very soon as I have no other family.

If they told the truth this time, it’d be cool! Their casting was good. But the story? Meh. The REAL story is so good, I’m not sure why anyone has to “dramatize” it. The real story needs none. At ALL. It has everything. Passion, real love, terrible fights. (ikr?), control issues. I wish somebody would make a real movie about these two. You wouldn’t have to add one thing. The movies I’ve watched about these two are so boring compared to their real relationship.

At the beginning you say that Albert's body remained for a decade in the Royal vault at Windsor and then later say that it was moved to the mausoleum at Frogmore,. just about a year after his funeral. Which is it?

The sarcophogus is not white. It is black granite. The recumbent figures of Victoria and Albert placed on top are made from white marble carved by Marochetti. Queen Victoria did not attend Albert's funeral. She had taken herself off to Osborne House. Her eldest son, the Prince of Wales, was the chief mourner.

As we know, Albert's "father" might have been some other man rather than his birth certificate father. This would explain why the marriage of Victoria and Albert was allowed by the Church, as her mother and his father were brother and sister.
So could there ever be a DNA analysis of the remains of the family of Albert to settle these questions?

There is a theory that Hemophilia came into the Royal Family through Albert's biological father if indeed Ernest III, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld was not his real father. There is no evidence in the ancestry of Albert or Victoria of the inherited disease but no doubt it started with her.
