I enjoyed this video very much, but I do have to ask - why did you cut away not once, but twice to a painting of Queen Elizabeth I’s coronation procession while talking about Prince Albert?
last month I visited Windsor Castle with my Dad. I loved the displays of Medieval weapons and suits of plate armour that was on display. while walking around I couldn't help imagine Victoria and Albert walking in front of us. we also went inside St George's chapel to light a candle for my Grandmother who had passed away in June 2022 during our late Queen's 70th event
i can relate to this even if im not a queen.. but my beloved love of my life died same age as Albert to a pancreatic cancer, the road of grief is been very long, its been 6yrs and i havent even been with anyone ever since. i know how it feels,no one can compair to this person so why even bother to look for another one. That is kind of love you dont just replace.
My deepest condolences. My heart aches for you. Your attitude reminds me of my late mother. My dad died when my mum was 52 and when she died at 83 she had never so much as looked at another man and she always said why hen you have had perfection would you settle for second best. My dad was the love of her life. I feel the same, my husband who is my soulmate I’d very ill and I will follow him very soon as I have no other family.
If they told the truth this time, it’d be cool! Their casting was good. But the story? Meh. The REAL story is so good, I’m not sure why anyone has to “dramatize” it. The real story needs none. At ALL. It has everything. Passion, real love, terrible fights. (ikr?), control issues. I wish somebody would make a real movie about these two. You wouldn’t have to add one thing. The movies I’ve watched about these two are so boring compared to their real relationship.
At the beginning you say that Albert's body remained for a decade in the Royal vault at Windsor and then later say that it was moved to the mausoleum at Frogmore,. just about a year after his funeral. Which is it?
The sarcophogus is not white. It is black granite. The recumbent figures of Victoria and Albert placed on top are made from white marble carved by Marochetti. Queen Victoria did not attend Albert's funeral. She had taken herself off to Osborne House. Her eldest son, the Prince of Wales, was the chief mourner.
The image of Elizabeth I @ 5:25 was somewhat confusing 😆 …and again @7:17 His disinterment and re-internment are not even mentioned until around 8:40. 🙄
1:15pm -- what is your source for this photograph? Was this the Great 1851 Exhibition? 8:11 -- Are we looking here at, a painting of part of the funeral proceedings; or is this some sort of memorial several yrs later? 9:58 -- Any guesses as to who the "5 children were" that were present at Albert's demise?
As we know, Albert's "father" might have been some other man rather than his birth certificate father. This would explain why the marriage of Victoria and Albert was allowed by the Church, as her mother and his father were brother and sister. So could there ever be a DNA analysis of the remains of the family of Albert to settle these questions?
There is a theory that Hemophilia came into the Royal Family through Albert's biological father if indeed Ernest III, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld was not his real father. There is no evidence in the ancestry of Albert or Victoria of the inherited disease but no doubt it started with her.
Lots of good info, but in all your videos: it's not that hard to find out how to pronounce peoples names and titles correctly...and words over a few syllables.
Noted a lot of criticism in the comments here . Think you busy bodies , try this amount of work yourselves . Well done for the posting up , curtly leaned some history here , regarding Prince Albert . Thanks for posting ❤
Try this amount of work?? 😆 How much work does it take to be completely inaccurate, and add images of the era that don’t even lineup with the story. Even the images are incorrect. I saw two of the coronation of Elizabeth I 😆
Queen Victoria was a horrid person. I just remember her telling her daughter, after he child died , that it wasn’t as bad as losing her husband and this was quite a bit after he died too. She was a cold lady.
Lots Of Errors! You Mentioned Siblings, There Was 1 Brother ! St. George’s Wasn’t Known As The Chapel Royal , Why Did You Show Elizabeth 1 Twice ! I’m Not Aware That The Queen Welcomed The Coffin , She Couldn’t Have Coped With That ! I Think The Prince Would Have Been Moved In Something Better aThan A Cart !! And The Title He Wasn’t Dug Up , He Was At Rest In The Vault ! As Was King George VI & The Duke Of Edinburgh!!
You claim, madam, that Prince Albert was in a vault for many years after his unfortunate passing. I asked a tobacanist if he had Prince Albert in a can. The tobacanist said he did have. I purchased a dozen of these. Someone is having us on!

Somewhat confused. Why does Elizabeth I appear twice in this video? While this was meant to be representative of Prince Albert's funeral?

❤❤❤❤❤❤
I pray your heart heals soon and you find companionship with a wonderful person!
I wonder if Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend would be open to revisiting their story set in their last years together.
I would be so down to see that!!!!❤❤❤

Thank you, you explain things very well
Why did you show Elizabeth I? She had nothing to do with it.
And the Royal Vault, even now, is not crowded. 👎🏻
Albert was a very Handsome man when he was younger , no wonder Victoria couldnt keep her hands off him !!!
I’m watching this now. Good.
At 5:19 I’m not sure why there is a painting of Queen Elizabeth I in procession with her Courtiers circa 1600.
So there was no “ digging up of Prince Albert” then. Also there is a picture of Prince alberts funeral with the prince if wales in the picture.
I don’t understand why a picture of Elizabeth 1 was shown.
What is Elizabeth 1 doing in this? Am I missing something?
I'm confused why this video keeps showing images of a procession of Queen Elizabeth I. What's the context, I wonder?
Why the images of Queen Elizabeth the I? It made no sense at all.
The image of Elizabeth I @ 5:25 was somewhat confusing 😆
…and again @7:17
His disinterment and re-internment are not even mentioned until around 8:40. 🙄
Excuse me? Albert died at a very young age despite being a very sick man? I think you got this a bit mixed up?
I think she merely meant to say that despite being a young age, he died from being very sick with stomach issues.
@@kimberlypatton205 that is what I wrote!

@@socal3703 yes, it’s possible. Your point is what?
i must say prince albert was mighty fine good looking!....victoria mighty plain....this happens alot in the royal family...just saying x
Prince Albert was only in the royal vault for a year
not a decade
I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Assuming the mentioned duke of Buckleck is actually the Duke of Buccleuch pronounced Bekloo.
Albert’s medical issues never stopped him keeping Victoria knocked up for 2 decades.
Exactly what I was thinking 😂
Why are there photos of the Spanish Most Catholic King and Queen, Queen Elizabeth I and other non-relevant ppl to this story lol😅
Why did it take you over ten minutes till you gave the reason why
Just to say the Duke of Buccleuch is pronounced bu (as you’d said bus) clue. So bu-clue. Doesn’t make any sense I know!
Question...could Queen Elizabeth have remarried?
The duke if buklet...haha buchkleaugh...pronounced buu cleu... get it right

THe dead should be left to rest in peace and not interfered with.

I thought cousins could marry, just not second cousins. Something to do with how genetics work

It's important to get the facts right if you're trying to be factual. I agree that doing so is lots of work. All the best!
😂😂😂😂Alot of effort to be historically inaccurate. If it is incorrect, it is incorrect!!!
Try this amount of work?? 😆
How much work does it take to be completely inaccurate, and add images of the era that don’t even lineup with the story. Even the images are incorrect. I saw two of the coronation of Elizabeth I 😆
How hard is it to keep notes and verify that the information you're presenting is correct???
Queen Victoria was a horrid person. I just remember her telling her daughter, after he child died , that it wasn’t as bad as losing her husband and this was quite a bit after he died too. She was a cold lady.
How do you know?
@Bridge_with_a_T watching many documentaries 🤔
@@teal_panda_8434 I would say "she appears to have been cold". It's easy to judge the dead, for they cannot stick up for themselves. Js
@@Bridge_with_a_T does it matter? She proved that she wasn't very motherly. Just her saying that to her daughter makes her cold.
@@teal_panda_8434 you don't understand her at all.
Lots Of Major Mistakes , You Really Must Study The Facts & Not Inform People Incorrectly!! And Really Showing Elizabeth 1 TWICE .
A long time and a lot of verbiage to describe very little.
Intelligen folks use alot of words because they know more

She said he was moved to a mausoleum at Frogmore Cottage , where she rests beside him.People are human and make mistakes, give her a break.
If you pull a dead person up from the ground you generally have to dig them up !!! Lol.
Do you teach history or are you always that rude.
I visited the chapel of St George when I visited Windsor castle with my Dad back in June
