Excellent song. Nice to see/hear that Mr. Currie is on the right/righteous side. My wife and I saw Del Amitri in October 1997 at the Royal Albert Hall on our honeymoon.

All my childhood I listened to there music due to my dad playing it in his car, since then Iv always listened to them and they as good now as they were years ago. What a way to end Friday 13th and a dramatic year.

Great news in a year of little great news. Luv this band as well. Discovered them when I left Calgary Canada to go to UEA in Norwich, England in 1989. Have had an deep affect on my music ever since. Luv the metaphoric "shot across the bow" of Brexit.

A shame they got this one so wrong. Better when they sang about toxic relationships which ironically was the main reason that, despite all the medias best efforts, the majority of people rejected the EU.

I've just watched Master and Commander and wonder if this song might have been influenced. Whilst everyone had their eyes closed dreaming of what "England" means to them, the real england has been disintergrating as what "England" was, isn't anymore.

Went to see them at The Astor in Perth, Western Australia last night. Justin Currie has been an outstanding lyricist (look up No, Surrender). This time he sets his sights on Brexit, and the fucking idiots who thought it was a good idea.
