Oooh, new versus series channel. Can't wait to spend my day off watching!
I have watched the whole video now. It was very well put together and it shows that you extensively researched the characters in question. Needless to say, it was tons of fun to see two of the most powerful Force Users against one another and I 100% agree with the verdict: Palpatine is powerful, maybe insanely so. But at the end of the day, the son of the Chosen One is just on another level.
One a side note, would you consider doing a Palpatine vs. Vitiate scenario (the battle of the Emperors)? I know EvanNova has already done one in the past but I'm curious to see your take on it.

That palps suffered from a lack of practice, enough to have an effect on his fighting, is ridiculous.
About his fight vs the 4 masters - u have to decide if u concider the movies display or the novel's describtion. If u choose the former then u can't rank it along stuff he didn't do. There was no blinking out of existence. If u want to count that as factual, u have also to apply it to the scene. We have to imagine that all shown was actually happening much faster n the way it is seen by us is the way the fighters involved percieved it, not how it looked for bystanders.
It is also not the case that maul n savas didn't enhanced there physical capabilities. Maul actually had his whole training as a force user been focussed on combative applications plus he was just as well trained to mastery of all 7 forms plus various martial arts disdiplines for hand to hand so it's not like palps faced an unworthy opponentin him, still he made this duel into a sourrce of amusement.
It was also not his favorite saber in the statue.but a copy he had as ensurence. The main one, he usually carried hidden in his sleeve.
When he confronted maul n savas, he didn't just schooled'em both - no. He disgarded savas like a random piece of garbage n literally toyed with maul, whom he would've without any doubt, destroyed almost as quickly as savas, would he have wanted to do so.
That was during the last few month of the clone wars. Meaning, it was well part of that periode of time, that was neither raining nor direct fights - heavy. But if we want to b serious here for a moment - once his combat training was done n he started his senate carreer, was there any realistic danger of numerous duels to be had? Even would he wanted, he couldn't ris to blow his cower n that was true till e took over the galactic rule n after that?.... Those who even could have had a remote lil' chance to even come close enough 4 a confrontation were mostly dead.
So bottomline - this jewel of a masterful saberfight was by no means enabled from fresher practice. If u stopped training 20 years or 25 years or 40years doesn't make a difference.
This guy has mastered all forms to a level that usually ppl strived for in their main form n not at all means that they reached it. Palps mastered all to make a point, showing how small of a deal it is 4 him n therefore, how hopeless any starting of a fight in that manner is.

As luke told jaina, shatterpoint was only rarely taught n therefore a rarely dseen ability. If one has found a manual/teacher who can provide the knowledge though, it is a rather easy to learn ability that isn't limited to certain talents that force users have in different areas, like it is with healing for example or in the darkside the way bane in zannah differed. Having bane basicly incapable of any formes of sourcery, while she wasn't able to produce lightning.
So the reason why sideos it didn't used/learned was not a guarantee, that he couldn't have done if chosing so at any time. He had nothing keeping him from it.
We should further concider that thid ability had a micro - as well as a macro aspect. While he wasn't using it as a fighting technique, shattering armor n stuff, it is also described how the ability is a tool that provides help for strategic uses 4 a being with a certain level of firesight.
While it's said that futurevisions are notoriously unreliable due to the way any lil' vagueness as ell as a limited context can basicly result in a total misinterpretation - the shatterpoints in the flow of time n how heavily events will impact it, can obviously greatly bennefit a user in the valuation of visions... Give that it seems to b quasi palps standart modus operandi to think always ahaed n heavily use his foresight which almodt allways works "as he has forseen it", the chance of him applying the ability, only in another way is actually very likely n can b implied even without explicit documentation of it. Also, while luke had a bit of work to do b4 he rediscovered the technique's tutorial, palpatine had plundered all the usefull knowledge stored in the tempel, so he almost certainly had the tutorial's 4 such stuff at hand without problems. The unwillingness to do it, is actually the only logical reason that holds up, for the case that he didn't learned the trick or perhaps ignored certain aspects that were of no use to him.

he had outside help via leia, who used her force bond with luke to combine their force powers to destroy Palpatine. It wasn't a fair fight, and that was Dark Empire Luke, who was still not in his prime
@@lapplandkun9273 Yeah they basically bypassed Palpatine's power rather than matching it with their own. It should be noted, however, that in terms of lightsaber combat, Luke defeated Palps fair and square (which makes sense considering Sidious' dislike and lack of practice with the weapon).

Yeah DE Luke defeated Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine Reborn with a little assistance from Leia’s Force Harmony and since then Luke has become many tiers more powerful that now its no contest even though they both are the most powerful of Jedi and Sith in Galactic History Luke is tiers beyond Palpatine. With having fought much powerful foes or opponents where he was at a significant disadvantage like Abeloth, Yuuzhan Vong Armies with their Overlords, the combined power of Exar Kun’s Force Spirit and a young Kyp Durron, many Lost Tribe Of The Sith members at once so yeah.
